Nov 02,2023When planning our 50th anniversary trip to Greece in October 3023, we wanted much more than Instagram-able photos. Ziccaso put us in contact with two travel agents who knew the country in depth because they are Greek. Both agents understood our wish to explore the people, culture, history and food & wine of Greece and developed awesome itinerary options. Our decision came down more to a comfort fit than professional expertise. Our trip was amazing in every single detail. We definitely will work through Zicasso for our next trip abroad.

The site allowed us to investigate/understand our options in Italy and they provided two great travel agencies with tremendous knowledge/experience in Italy. Nov 01,2023Our trip was a self-driving tour of a family of 4 (large SUV with GPS and mobile hotspot included; all adults; encompassing approximately 1,000 total miles of driving and averaging 7 to 9 miles of hiking &/or walking daily) whereby the excursions were at different locations, participating with other travelers (groups ranging from approximately 12 to 30 people), with the exception of just the 4 of us for the "Icelandic Food Tour." Zicasso did a great job in planning an Itinerary that allowed us to see the locales one should see while in Iceland, yet allowed us the flexibility of adding to the suggested stops to see locations our own research identified as places to visit. Our highlights: Exploring the various hot springs, taking in the sights of the many different waterfalls and seeing/exploring the glaciers were both memorable and enjoyable, truly able to take in the varied sights of Iceland, no excursion being similar to the other.

Oct 31,2023My friend and I were in the initial phases of planning a trip to Argentina, but we were both leery of traveling to a foreign country with our limited ability to speak the language or our limited knowledge of the country. My friend suggested a tour, but we had specific cities that we were interested in, and none of the tours encompassed all of then. Then I ran across Zicasso, and saw that with their help, we could have a custom tour. We could not have been more pleased. We felt so well taken care of. Our hotels and trips were set up for us in each location and they were very responsive to any questions that we might have. We usually received an answer within minutes. We were also provided with personal drivers and tourguides for each outing. My friend and I were so excited to find out that Zicasso services many countries all over the world. We have decided that this is the way we will always go when we take a trip. I highly encourage anyone taking a trip to try their services.

Oct 24,2023This was a 16 day Normandy trip for my spouse's 75 birthday. We are frequent travelers to Europe, but never spent much time in Normandy. Zicaso first listened to us to learn about what kind of trip we were planning. Then they gave us names of two travel companies they thought be a fit. We communicated with both and chose one. Our Personal Travel Specialist at that company listened carefully to our needs and wants for the trip. She was also aware of some special needs for the trip. She provided first draft itinerary ideas which we worked on to develop a final itinerary. The Paris hotels were fine and well located. They all had staff that went out of their way to be helpful. The country hotels in Normandy were spectacular, again with superb staff. The personal drivers and guides were wonderful. They were all knowledgeable, helpful and spoke English. Zicaso provided contact information along the way if needed. Everything went very smoothly. It was a wonderful trip and we would use Zicaso again. Tom

A few years ago Zicasso helped us select specialists who created a unique tour of Portugal and Spain that met our personal interests (arts, food, wine, architecture and history) so we didn't hesitate to look to Zicasso again to find us the right people to customize our tour of Greece and the Cyclades. Zicasso connected us with tour guides and specialists in the areas mentioned above. The result was a unique combination of must-see landmarks and little known local secrets. We enjoyed local cuisine, experienced historical treasures and met some truly remarkable people who clearly love showcasing their beautiful country.
