Delivery got here early. Opened it up expecting two struts, only one was in the box. Looked like someone cut open the bottom - there was a brown cardboard bottom taped on which was obviously different from the black and stapled-shut rest of the box. Emailed customer service, no response. Called customer service, waited a few hours, no progress - there were always some random number (between 20-40) callers ahead of me NO MATTER WHEN I CALLED. It seemed to generate a random number of people since I called twice in a row and got vastly different numbers of callers ahead of me each time. Absolutely TERRIBLE, should-be-illegal customer service. Hopefully they reach out soon cause I can't do much with only one strut.

Customer service is a joke. Submitting a contact form is useless. I thought I would give it a try and it has been over a month and no response. If you call expect to be on hold anywhere from half an hour to well over an hour before speaking to anyone. Once I was able to get a hold of someone they said they would get back to me with an answer via email. Again weeks later and no response. After over a month of waiting I do have my products, they arrived safely and well packaged. I understand wait times on high demand items are going to be extended and I have no problem waiting. I do have a problem with poor customer service. If hold times are high, hire more staff. If you cant handle the volume or blatantly ignore contact forms then optimize the system or do away with it. Customer service should be a top priority for any retailer especially online and 4 wheel has obviously not put forth the effort for their online clients.

Orderd on March 6th took my money within minutes. Two week later I called to check on status, its on backorder with no ship date. But you took my money. Ok I decided to wait because of covid. Called April 20, they called the manufacturer, it will ship first week of May you will receive within 3 days. Called May 10, they will call manufacturer and call me back. Called May 12, the item has been discontinued. Ugh ok refund me ok 3bto 5 days. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

That's the sorry place ever I well never go back I spin over 2,000 on my truck and it still running the same my abs light came on I call the manager he told me they not responsible I told him I didn't had no ligths when I drop it off now I'm trying contract the corporate office

I used to like this store but after having quality issues with some parts I found out they don't stand behind their products. I have been trying to resolve this issue for 6 months and just keep getting ignored. They are super helpful when you are spending money but not so much if you have any problems. With the ease of getting parts online, there is no need to order from 4 Wheel Parts. And there are several other shops in town that actually care about customer service and deserve your business. Save yourself a headache and shop somewhere else.

After going to the 4wp of sh-t web site and ordered my tires they had no problem charging me for and payed extra for 3 to 5 day shipping on the fifth day still no tires and rude customer service with not explication as to when I would have my tires or if I was even go to get them never again I will pay more just to go somewhere else next time!!!

Spent over $1200 for 4 tires, 6 weeks later nothing more than a form letter saying "Due to delays beyond our control, order fulfillment is taking longer than usual. We are working directly with manufacturers, shippers, and suppliers to ensure the fastest delivery possible". Despite many requests for additional information I got nothing... ordered from another retailer, tires are shipping Monday. It's not that 4WP didn't have the tires it's that they provided me zero explanation after 6 weeks... avoid these guys

first time using this site and last.ordered 2 parts and it still has not been processed sense march 26.wont recomend to eny of my friends neather.

This is the worst service in the off road business, there customer service is horrible, they sent me parts that had already been returned and had missing parts and basically told me to deal with it , I will never buy from them again, there management and customer service is horrible,

Back ordered several months with no indication of when the part would be delivered. But charged me the moment I made the purchase. Website won’t allow me to submit a review stating that.

If negative stars could be given I would! Went to their Independence, Mo location and ordered a wheel and tire for a spare on my Jeep and a jack block so my factory jack would be tall enough to raise my lifted Jeep. Paid for the order in cash. 4 days later the sales rep, Richard, calls to tell me that they cannot get the jack block as that was a product they carried when they were formerly known as Chux Trux and that my best bet would be to just order it from Amazon. That’s right, their sales rep tells me I’m better off ordering from Amazon!! Then he proceeds to ask me what wheel I had ordered. I questioned him since it had been 4 days and they were just ordering the parts now. He assured me the parts were ordered but couldn’t tell me what wheel I had ordered! I told him there was too much confusion, just cancel the order. Came in later that day to get a refund and spoke with the store manager Lee. Was informed he could not refund me since I paid in cash and that I would have to wait for a check to come from his corporate office. Funny thing is they had no problem accepting my cash... To keep my business Lee agreed to knock $188.00 dollars off the order and said he would order in the jack block(the part they could no longer get and that I should order from Amazon). The catch, he still couldn’t refund me the $188.00, would have to wait for check from corporate. 6 days later call to check status on my parts just to be told everything was in but the tire had been damaged in shipment and they would have to reorder it. 5 days later finally everything is in and I was able to pick up my parts. It’s now been a month and still no check from their corporate. Supposedly was mailed but for the wrong amount, so a stop payment was put on it and a new check was going to be overnighted. Not holding my breath I will ever see anything from them. In summary if someone was to come to my house and shoot my dog, molest my daughter and beat my wife I still wouldn’t hate them enough to recommend this joke of a company! Follow their associate Richards advice and get it from Amazon, like he said “that’s your best bet”!!

I am a shop owner, hobbyist, and long-time customer of 4WP, 4Wheel Drive Hardware, and Transamerican Auto Parts. I will make it a point to never do business with any of their affiliates due to a recent experience. 1. Ordered a Smittybilt Overlander tent from 4WP online, and it arrived weeks later severely damaged. The product was 90% out of its box when it arrived, and the structural base was bent and crushed in. 2. Tried calling customer service, hold times were an hour to an hour and a half. Got to an agent, they asked me to hold, and the call was disconnected. No callback. Created case on 4WP website, but never heard back. 3. Finally reached someone in customer service after an hour and a half holding. A case was created, emailed photos to the service agent. Could not provide me details or what the process was. 4. Received a vague email with the shipping bill of landing, with no details and zero notice to arrange the shipping directly from the customer service rep. Emailed 5 times over several days with no response. The shipping company and I had to figure out what was going on as no information was given to either of us. 5. The tent was picked up, but a replacement was not provided. No idea when the replacement would arrive, or if it would. Called the agent directly and left 2 voice mails and followed up in another email. No response. 6. Sent a stern email to the agent, and got a response right away. Said had dental work done so she said she couldn't give me a callback. I asked for another rep or manager to could call me. She refused to hand off my case or loop in a manager after several attempts. 7. Was told the tent damage would be investigated within 2-3 weeks from the time it arrived at their Compton location before a replacement would go out. 8. Local 4WP had the tent in stock, I asked to either go pick up the replacement if that wasn't possible, refund the order so I could go purchase the tent at my local 4WP. Without details, the agent emailed me to let me know she just canceled my order and stated a refund would not be issued for another 2-3 weeks. Also, the price of the tent went up to $1100 since I purchased it, and I would have to pay the higher price. In the end, I received a damaged product. I have had to invest at least 5 hours of my time to wait on hold and work with a shipping company. In the end, I have been without the product, and 4WP is holding on to thousands of my dollars for what will be 60 days. All because a product I ordered was sent to me damaged. Customer service is impossible to reach, and when you do the agents are unresponsive and refuse to escalate. How it should be: I bought front and rear bumpers from Morris 4x4 the front bumper arrived damaged. They answered my email within 2 hours, called me without asking, I sent photos and they shipped out the replacement overnight. If you are looking for parts, I would suggest Morris4x4 or if you are in Colorado, Northridge4x4.

Ordered 4 tires from them then called the next day after reading bad reviews just to make sure they were in fact on their way. Sat on hold for an hour+ then was told they were on backorder even though they said "ready to ship". Glad i called, wont order from them again.

I have always had good service with 4WP but when they would not cover the warranty and said I would have to contact Rigid I am done. If you are not going to back up the products you sell you will never see me buying a single thing again.

Horrible company. Do not order from here! Only received half my order. In the box was half the order and the pick ticket which showed them only sending half the order. Had to wait on hold for 45 minutes for them to try and figure out what went wrong. After 45 minutes of waiting they now tell me that the parts that were "in stock" a week ago when I ordered them have mysteriously become not in stock and there is a 9-12 weeks wait time. Awesome. Wish you would have told me this a week ago when I ordered, I would have just bought them on amazon. Their supply and inventory system sucks. That is what went wrong.

Spent thousands with this company in the past. Recently tried to place a couple orders and it didn't go through because they didn't like my credit card set up. The credit card company said everything was fine. Instead of informing me, I waited for parts to show up that never were never shipped. I called and the guy was extremely rude both times that I called. He suggested I drive 4 hours to the nearest store to pick up my items. I'll never spend another penny with them.

Miss leading information on quantity sold in. Displaying two suspension parts in the photos and using words like “each” etc but not saying sold separately. The sales representative was a complete jerk when I was kind and direct to the point. Just a bad experience all around.

As many other reviewers have expressed, this company is horrible in fulfilling orders and has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Was told 60 days ago that the part I ordered and paid for was on backorder and would ship within 30 days. Still waiting on the part and have received 0 updates on the status. I will never order from this company again.
