Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, so in this case, shame on me. I made an order a year ago, covid hit, it didn’t deliver for over 6 weeks, then turned out to be the wrong part and they wouldn’t take it back. Should have learned. Now a covid year later, I had cooled off, I order a lift kit on the web, it states “in stock ready to ship” it also states 3-5 business days delivery. I order, 5 business days later, order status, “some items may be delayed” What! I relied on their stated info, so I email, no response, I call, Matt hangs up on me after I tell him I relied on the information on website. So I use “contact us”, incredibly, I get a call, includes excuses on what in stock ready to ship really means. News flash, it means not necessarily in their possession. It includes excuses on 3-5 business days can’t be expected in covid, then how about don’t promise it. It includes how emails are backed up in some call centre in the US, that’s why no response, and the best was, to continue my conversation with them, I had to keep my “tone” down, and I had to understand he is not the website, or the distribution centre or the call centre, he was just the guy delivering the excuses and nothing else. By the way, he also doesn’t think me waiting another week is so bad. I can barely explain how happy I was after that.... In the past 5 years I have spent just under $10,000.00 with 4 wheel parts. The rest of my life will be $0, and I will use any and influence with friends and club members to direct business away from 4wheel parts.
Zero communication in regards to back ordered items. Zero communication when a package they shipped to me never arrived. Terrible company, will never do business with again.
I purchased a leveling kit and install. I paid $600 for deposit. Couple days later I decided to cancel my order and installation. I contacted the customer service and I received a call back after she got off the phone with the store manager, she stated that “He says (the store manager) if you want to change the store credit to a cash refund (as I originally paid 4wp store in cash), he can help with that. Just go to the store to pick up your refund and let him know you are changing your mind and would like a cash refund”. I contacted the store and spoke to the store manager and I was informed by the that he cannot give me the cash, now I’m informed by the store manager a check has to be mailed from the corporate office in Compton, California and it would take 2-3 weeks before it gets to me; now I have to wait this long to get my money back. So I’m hoping everything goes well and I will receive my refund (check) from 4wp in two to three weeks.
I live 20 miles from them and ordered online. The website stated that the item was going to be drop shipped by the manufacture. No worries (I thought) and I would receive it in 7 days. It shows that is shipped from them 20 miles away. Two weeks later, I still do not have my order. Neither the online customer service, the store or USPS can tell me where my package is. This is terrible customer service. I have emailed and called them and no response. Very disappointed!
I bought several hundred dollars worth of parts from this company. I need to return one piece. There customer service is the worst in the industry. I was put on hold for over 2 hours no one could help me i was transferred 6 times and my call was disconnected 6 times.no one called me back. On the 3rd day of trying customer service. I was told no problem I'll start your paper work and email you its been over 1 month and still nothing. The worst place to buy any thing do not use them.
Update, received an email saying they are now shipping from the Mfg? Called PIAA they said "Shut the FRONT Door".... Had no idea what I was claiming. What now AMEX may get involved after 90 days. I received my ARB bumper and Winch, and extra strap and recovery kit, $2300 and change, but my $300 lights were not in the destroyed box that was dropped off at my house. I have emailed and received a ticket but zero response from them. I guess I will need to go thru AMEX and report this. If you have paid thru a credit card they will be your advocate.
I have tried and tried with this company. Over a dozen online orders to pick up in store over the years. Always says 3-5 business days. The FASTEST I have received parts was 2 weeks with the majority of them taking months. Just go to Northridge 4x4 and pay the extra 5%, at least you will get your product in a timely manner.
I have been waiting over three weeks for an order. I have tried to email several times with no reply. I have tried to call the customer service line several times. The call operator tells me there is 70 people ahead of me in line. How is that even possible. I am worried that I wont get my steering stabilizer how am I suppose to get a refund. I am probably going to have to file a report with the better business bureau. I have never had service this bad.
I am so disappointed and discourage about the order process of this store. I have always purchase from many places and my buys come in a timely manner. We called and purchased a rooftop tent from this store because they carry the tent i wanted. At the time of purchase they advised me that the tent was available in jacksonville and was going to be delivered same week. I put the order in on Tuesday and not only put the order in but paid the amount in full. I called Thursday to check the status of the tent they told me it was going to arrive Friday. I called back today to check the status. Now the story is very different. They are telling me that the tent is not coming from jacksonville but california and it won't get here until next week on possibly Tuesday, Wedsnday or even Thursday. No specific day. I asked how come if at the time of purchase it was said to me that jacksonville warehouse was the location of the tent. Gentleman said most of been right at check out it was sold. This makes absolutely no sense. If this would of been told to me I would of purchase my tent else where because I have a huge camping trip this weekend and now have no tent. Makes me want to cancel the order and ask for my money back. What a disappointment. Communication has been very unclear and not accurate. For sure I will never purchase absolutely nothing from this place ever again and will advice all my friends and forums and groups I am part of to stay clear.
Customer service is garbage. If you have a appointment at 9am they should take the people who has appointments first then the others who are waiting. Why make appointment at 9am and you don't see me until 930am
Bad website. Tried going there to actually buy stuff for my truck. That would be a big fat nope. "Your request has been blocked. If you feel you have been blocked in error, please contact 4wheelparts Customer Support at 877-474-4821.Thank you!" I'm not going to call some stupid number because you can't figure out how to run security on your website. Way to lose a sale. No wonder you guys have such bad reviews when you alienate people from your site even without seeing it first.
After getting a rear pinion kit installed which consists of bearings, shims, crash sleeve, pinion seal and proper torque specs I picked up my landcruiser of the 4WP shop in Monroeville, PA. On the way back home at around 45-70mph I've noticed a weird grinding noise and severe vibrations come from the rear of the SUV which were obviously not there before. You can hear them in this video that was recorded right after picking up the SUV. The assistant manager, goes by "crash" his real name is not on his business card, screamed at me that they only looked at it once after having the truck for a whole week after bringing it back the same day it was worked on and told me the vibrations are coming from the transfer case not the rear differential and you can only hear my tires go while driving in the highway. He denied looking at my vehicle any further, or would not show me that the vibrations were coming from the T-case. He threatened to fight me if I wouldn't leave his store but, the store manager got involved and told me to put my stock wheels back on if I wanted my truck looked at again and I had to pay a diag fee. What off roading shop tells you to put your stock wheels back on for proper diag? These guys didn't realized I've been a certified mechanic for ten years before trying to pull this stunt on me. This shop is a joke. Don Kasyan, the salesman that worked on my repair order was also extremely rude, unprofessional and had a few racial degrading remarks about me and my Landcruiser. This shop only wants your money. Walked in here in September first to get my rear pinion done, "crash" tells me to wait for the"october sale fest" before making my appointment to save money and when I do before I can make the appointment I have to put half the total amount down, wait another month to get the truck in the shop, ended up paying $150 more than I agreed initially and they ruined my rear differential after taking it apart. Another thing is the first time I came in here around July to get five wheels balanced and an alignment they only ended up balancing four wheels and I paid to get five wheels balanced. I was able to tell because I painted the wheel weights black and the spare tire had the same wheel weights as it did when I dropped off the SUV. Told me they would adjust my adjustable tracking bars in the front and the rear differentials when they did an alignment also but they didn't touch it, I marked those nuts too and they needed adjusted and they told me they did it. What upset me the most is that I paid $1300 to get my rear pinion kit installed and they messed that up too. I had enough. An appointment has been made with Toyota to tear my differential apart to prove 4WP shop that they did wrong by another party. Corporate will be contacted also and a police report filed for implied threat. Avoid this shop at all cost! 4wp bad customer service. Also won't let you leave a honest review on there website. I won't buy from them no more. From no responses to email. To poor shipping. Misreputation of products. Not happy with this company and won't buy again.
I’ve read some of the reviews on here about 4WP I think these bad reviews are all crap. I bought 6in lift kit and 35” tires from there a year ago I trashed 1 of the tires and needed it replaced. They did not have my tire in stock but ordered it for me . To get me buy they mounted a 35” tire of another brand that is brand new and will swap my tire when it comes in. I was in and out within and hour and they were really busy nobody else would bend over backwards like this to help a customer out . I will never buy anything for my truck anywhere else but 4WP you guys are the best hands down
Today I went to buy a few items in stock and wanted to order a few after consulting with them. Read their Covid-19 guidelines link and store hours. I’m 40 minutes away. I walk in and 5 guys behind counter none wearing a mask. 2 customers neither wearing a mask. Immediately 2 counter guys leave the front counter. 1 customer leaves. I’m wearing my mask waiting (I’m still at least 8 feet away) 2nd customer looks at me. All employees have looked at me (including 2 that left) Not a hello, not a hand gesture, no can we help you? Nothing? I walked out, still not a word. I figured I could always just have order shipped. I sent a direct email to them to address customer service. I had not seen this site or the reviews yet. Having seen these reviews I will make other arrangements with a reputable customer service oriented organization.
Terrible communication regarding a back ordered part. 4WP did not respond to e-mails. I called 4WP customer service and was told I would get a call back on the ETA of the back ordered part. They did not respond. I am not impressed
I don,t understand why this place is still in business. They still owe me $146.00 since March. I will never buy from this company again ! And by looking at all the reviews most everybody has a complaint! Maybe someday there will be a civil lawsuit and I will get my money back.
This is my first and last experience with 4WP. I tried to place the order online and could not get answers so I went in person to the store. They said it would be a few days to get the order in and it is two weeks later and no response. I tried to call and got hung up on twice after being put on hold for over 40 minutes. I now am going to have to go back to the store and try to get refunded. Lost my business. Beware
$2500 order placed on Aug. 31st. ( rims, tires, lug nuts etc. i need to replace my tires SOON.) was told at the time that it would take two weeks. its been four weeks and nothing! i call every couple of days and keep getting the same answer, it'll be here next week. when is next week? if my damn order ever comes in i will never do business with this company again!

Mar 04,2021Craptastic customer service. Ordered replacement door hinge bushing kit and one of the parts was defective (too small so door pin didn't fit). Refused to take it back and replace it. Made me contact the manufacturer directly. Dinosaurs.
