Sep 15,2024Did my 5 day intensive course starting on the 2nd September in Bury St Edmunds with Tony. Fantastic teacher and great guy. Enjoyed learning to drive which I was dreading for a long time. After passing my theory on September 11th We managed to find a cancellation for September 13th which I ended up passing. From very little driving experience to passing all in the space of 2 weeks! Couldn’t recommend enough and thank you!

Sep 10,2024I did my lessons in Peterborough with James, he was amazing and very good instructor who was very patient and encouraging while I was learning. It was a really enjoyable week and I learned so much including my theory lessons which were so helpful to help me pass my theory. Overall brilliant course!

Sep 01,2024Fantastic Instruction and Teaching. Would recommend! Just finished my 5day course and would highly recommend. In particular, my instructor James from Peterborough was a great teacher; very clear and patient, and never raised his voice, I always felt safe in the vehicle. I received constant feedback and improved massively over the course of the 5 days thanks to him. I have now passed my theory test first time at the end of the week thanks to the 5 daily practice sessions with my trainer Suzi who was just as fantastic; clear and thorough in teaching everything we needed to know. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants not only to pass their test, but become a safe driver as fast as possible.

Aug 30,2024Terrible company full of bullies. My daughter has had nothing but trouble and now cant even book a test because she hasn't paid for it??? Instructors are liars and manipulative. Please don't waste your money on this company

Aug 28,2024AVOID THIS COMPANY.I paid for the course back in April and still haven’t been booked in with a test. I can’t get hold of my driving instructor who had been giving me private lessons secretly and taking more of my money, the company can’t get hold of her either. They are very rude and unhelpful. I would NOT waste your money on this course or these people they have not only wasted my money but also my time. Absolutel con.

Take your money then do not communicate with you that they won't be turning up then expect you to just be able to change dates as they double booked you!!!! Absolute con artists, can't get through on the phone, their live chat is a joke, promised a call back still nothing!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Aug 25,2024My Son turned 17 in May and his intensive course was booked for July. He was really happy with his instructor, James. My son felt relaxed when driving and was given the confidence he needed when driving. My son also had the 1 hours theory training which was online. I am pleased to say my son was able to pass both his theory and practical test first time.

Aug 18,2024I would highly recommend 5Day to anyone who is wanting to learn/ pass their driving quicker. My instructor James Chambers did everything he could to make me have a successful outcome, he was very clear, patient and was very funny and kind which eased my nerves. I managed to pass my theory and driving test first time and I can’t thank 5Day and James Chambers enough for getting me to this point!

Aug 16,2024Great course taken in Manchester with Bejan he was a fantastic instructor and made the whole process painless, I was made aware that there was a huge backlog from dvsa to supply tests so i found one on a cancelation app (The cause of the issues strangely enough) course does what it says on the tin

Aug 16,2024We bought our daughter a 5 day course for her 17th birthday in May 2023 which was extremely expensive. She did her 20 hours and was told that she would be in a waiting queue for a test. We rang 5 day so many times to ask where we were on the list and they kept telling us your next on the list. My daughter was so fed up as she just wanted to pass her test as she was in college and finding it hard on public transport. In the end we got fed up too and booked a test through the DVLA website for March this year. We managed to get a cancellation and she passed her test first time in February 9 months after doing her 5 day course. We ended up having to find a new driving instructor and pay for more lessons which cost us a further £300. 5 day contacted us today regarding her test date 15 months after her 5 day course. What a scam and a total waste of money!!!! Avoid at all costs.

Aug 06,2024I contacted this company and asked about the course. I did this as a friend of mine has done this course in March and still hasn’t got a date for his driving test. When he calls them regarding a test date, they say ‘what number were you last time?! A couple of weeks ago he was told he was number 40 on the waiting list for a test, this week he was told he was number 48! He’s gone down the queue. As there’s only 20 hours of practical driving on this course. I asked the customer services man if this is enough driving experience. He went off at me. He was extremely rude, talking over me, telling me I was disingenuous and I was talking to the wrong person (I wasn’t to know I was asking the wrong person about a course this company runs, I may have been asking the wrong person about the test but this man’s attitude was disgusting. He got angry before I’d even asked about the test) I was within my rights to call a company and ask about a course as I was extremely concerned for my friend. I only asked the question as my friend has not had any in car training since March and it seems he’s a long way from getting a test! How can he be test ready when he’s only had 20 hours of in car training and nothing since March. He put me through to another line but I put the phone down as I didn’t want anymore contact with any staff from this company! I am absolutely disgusted with my experience 😡 just in response to their response. I have never refused to give my details, in fact I’ve never been asked to give them by this company! I was accused of being disingenuous when I made the original call so it seems to be a term they like to use! Why would anyone bother to write a review so detailed that wasn’t true! Honestly absolutely unreal they are. Steer clear!

Aug 02,2024It was really good, Thank you for the help for my instructor Bob, got my Pass 1st time, an amazing level of instructions, really good Theory lessons too. Norwich was my chosen Branch 10/10 Really would choose this and hope you get bob, especially if your a younger driver. Choose 5Day if you want to pass, simple.

Jul 26,2024Amazing course! My instructor, James had confidence in me and taught me well, keeping calm and stayed positive throughout even when my driving wasn’t the best. By the end of the week I was confident and driving came so naturally to me as I was taught well. Highly recommended!

Jul 26,2024I attended the 5day intensive course in bury st Edmund’s with the theory package included. The theory sessions were amazing and really helped me pass the theory test first time. My instructor Tony was so patient with me and really helped to get my confidence up with my driving with his support, knowledge and care, he really made me relax and enjoy learning to drive. I passed my driving test today with only 2 minor faults. I really couldn’t have done this without the course and Tony’s encouragement. Thankyou so much!

Jul 25,2024After completing my 5day intensive course last April it has been a battle to get tests fortunately today I passed on my third attempt and I have to say it is all thanks to my instructor Graham B. The definition of nurturing and professional he helped me throughout my journey to being on the roads and for that I can't thank him enough. Anyone who is thinking of booking 5day sidcup you would hit the jackpot if you manage to get Graham and your mentor.

Jul 21,2024I’ve just finished my intense driving course and I would recommend it. I think it’s a really good way to learn to drive fast. My instructor Paul was fab. I felt confident because he was so patient and positive.

Jul 09,2024Couldn’t recommend any more, my instructor James made it so easy reassuring when I made mistakes and pushing me to be a better driver. Stepped up the level when I was ready meaning it was never boring and a genuine sound person to the point we would chat about life while I drove which helped get ready to deal with distractions amazing course.

Sep 29,2024I do not recommend the Sidcup branch in anyway shape or form! Save your money a stay clear. I had a horrendous experience with 5Day. Some of the highlights were: 1) My driving instructor training me to only look in the left mirror when reversing. At one point, he put the left mirror down whilst I was driving around for a couple of hours. 2) Shouting at me multiple times that I don’t think properly and that I must have OCD or ADHD. 3)Being completely inconsistent with his teaching and unable to adapt his teaching in anyway. 4) Complaining that I was doing unecessary safety checks when starting the car and then being surprised when I pointed out the car that I would have drove into if I hadn’t! Originally, I assumed I had a bad driving instructor,so rather than writing a Trust Pilot review, I decided to send my complaints to 5Day. I did and I was assured that it had been sent to the management team. I was warned a reply from management would take longer than usual because I sent it during the summer holidays. I was fine with this. It is now eight weeks later, I have sent two chaser emails and I haven’t even had an acknowledgment from management! I doubt they are all still on holiday! Clearly, 5day are just as bad as the driving instructor! Don’t give them your money!
