Dec 20,2023Your process server failed to serve the complaint based solely on the representation that the person being served filed bankruptcy and has an attorney, which, in addition to not being true, also is not a basis for failing to serve the complaint. When this was brought to your attention, you stated that you would charge an addition $150 to go back out to complete service. In 16 years of practicing law, I have not ever had a process server determine when service was appropriate based on the party being served saying that they filed bankruptcy or had an attorney because, I would imagine, that is not what the process server is being hired to do. Please refund the money charged for this service and I will remove the negative review online. We found another process server for this job.

Dec 19,2023The server complete a wrong form after serving, the form is the the one for the county the court is in. I sent them the correct form to finish, but they ask me to finish myself and then send to the server to sign! This is quite unprofessional. If you made a mistake, you should be the one to correct this, but not let the customer clean your sh**t for you!

Dec 18,2023Not enough communication. Package was left with someone who does not legally live at the address. Person addressed in the legal document was not served. ABC Legal said all they had to do was give it to someone who resides there. No name, no signature, that person was just crashing at the house for a few weeks, not a co habitant.

Dec 18,2023The delivery took a long time and the proof took a long time too. The proof signature looks like a scribble from a child. The website asked about my experience with the service before it was even completed. The price was really high for what it's worth.

Dec 17,2023Id give a zero if possible. Did not make any attempts to serve within 5 days as stated. Deadline for service was noted at day 14 without a continuance. Date came and past. Defendant was served the incorrect paperwork, but that didnt matter because it was late. I followed up with ABC 6-7 times during the process, communication was late and ineffective.

Dec 17,2023ABC Legal made it incredible easy to serve in this case! Simply upload the documents and information to the portal and they take care of everything else. I was provided constant email updates and was able to track everything on the website. Service was achieved in less than 48 hours of submission on a standard request and the proof was filed with the court for me. I’ll definitely be using ABC Legal in the future.

Dec 15,2023Very bad experience ABC Legal so far.. really hoping they can fix it. Hired them to serve a case to an individual, and several weeks later only one attempt was made. In addition, several clerical errors have been made through the process, which I have had to reach out to remedy on several occasions. I initially chose to go with ABC because they are a larger company and felt they could get the job done, however I am now learning this was possibly a mistake and I am probably just another person they can overcharge and deliver subpar results to because they are too big to care.
