Was told bed would be same as double I had but it was higher so have to use a half step. I rang Adjustamatic customer services and spoke to a very polite customer services assistant and told her my problem and she rang me back. She said they supplied a thinner mattress and would deliver it when it was made, which I now have a date for. Thank you.

So I paid a substantial amount of money for what appeared to be an excellent chair product. However in its first 6 months it has had to have an engineer 3 times. The latest two times it has been completely defunct. But the worst is the time to see an engineer. Last time it was just over two weeks for a half hour fux. This latest time it has been out of action for a week. I am told our engineer is away on leave next week. They hope to tell me next week when he can schedule a visit the week after next. All three times they have used the well worn staff shortage due to covid line. I am looking at two weeks minimum more wait. I wish I had never bought from Adjustamatic and would love to get my money back. I will talk to Trading Standards as it is unfit for purpose. This is not a nearly £4000 product. Do not buy from them !!
the item purchased was a bed for my wife who has a damaged spine and suffers from constant pain . using the bed allows her to sleep comfortably all night. My wife is very pleased with bed and recommends it to anyone with a back problem
A very good buying experience. Clear descriptions and clear finance deal. Beds arrived on time and installed by two very nice chaps. Old beds carted away the next day. Build quality superb and beds work very well.

The bed is finally installed BUT it took 3 visits from the engineer, & the same from the guys bringing the bed. We ordered the bed with the blow up mattresses, 2 as it's a twin bed with separate adjustments for each mattress. So the 1st visit its turns out one of the mattresses was faulty, so 1 week later an engineer arrives & changes the pump, great only that didn't work. So half the bed cannot be used, so another week goes by & the 1st team comes back with a spare ordinary mattress so that the bed can at least be used & takes away the faulty one. While all this is going on they are trying to get the head board right, we have told the rep from the start that we need a short headboard, due to sloping walls & a book shelf behind the bed. So next the guys arrive with the headboard, but its wrong cause they picked up the wrong one. All these visits tend to be weekly so time is getting on, we eventually get a bed the works & 2 pumps one for each side & that now works, we also 5 weeks after the bed was delivered get the correct headboard. Also when you need to phone Adjustamatic that in itself is frustrating, they have no urgency to answer their phones, it can take a day before they phone you back.
Had the bed for 3 weeks, it creaks and groans when I raise the foot support, informed the customer support team on Monday, had to ring them back Friday, then informed could be upto 2 weeks before an engineer is available. Having paid £3300 for the bed this is totally unacceptable
I enquired to purchase a recliner chair that would suit my needs, ( Osteoarthritis lumbar spine, left hip & both feet, having seen Adjustamatic “ alleged” monthly finance being showed as little as £23 ( x amount of pence) Pricing via varying “ options nconsistent Facebook” Advertising. Upon an agent attending I decided upon the Grande Ascot Therapy chair. I was informed that there would be a £250 part exchange taken off the final balance in exchange for a chair/sofa which despite my personal advertising could not sell however an additional which had to be left outside my home for collection by “ another company”.. That “ other company turned out to be a local waste disposal dealer “ if I’d known that I would have arranged for the sofa ( Red leather 1970’s styled sofa worth at least £ 500.00 second hand value ) to have been collected by a deserving charity instead of being dumped at the local tip!! Looking at my final invoice I was charged £75.00!!!! Going back to my chosen Ascot Grande Therapy chair… yes it’s very relaxing & a statement piece .. bespoke for my needs no..£5092.00 totally not worth that & I will be asking for a breakdown of costing as to how that figure was arrived at… I’ve been unable too take advantage of the 14 day return policy .. which included a fee for wear & tear costs to collect etc… due to being a single person living alone with mobility issues.. PS the armchair covers are a total nuisance.. especially if your chair is of the waffle material…they just keep slipping.if you live alone & decide to move it to a different position or into a different room forget it, as the delivery paperwork emphasises it needs at least two people.
We just replaced our Adjustment beds after 18 years- pretty good longevity. We had a friendly welcome at Southampton showrooms and personal service and advice from Peter the manager. We were shown the range of beds and tried all the mattresses, before settling for 2 Heritage beds. Delivery well organised. Special thank to the manager Peter for his time and advice and also to Tony and Lee the delivery team who went the extra mile for us. Well done all.

Great service from the men that delivered our bed. We've had the bed a month now and are still getting used to it, comfort wise it's very good and far more supportive than the memory mattress we had previously. So far, so good.
Hi ordered this chair off your rep Paul who was very helpful and good to deal with .Got told delivery would be 8-12am received phone call the night before sayin they would be there 8-9am .Two men arrived 8am which was fine ,we was told they would put the chair that was there in another room to make way for the new one . So they took the old chair apart and dumped it in the middle of the other room didn’t put it back together . The new chair they put down in the room they was told which plug to use which they ignored and used a plug that meant the wire was right in line of a walk way .They thentold my mother this switch goes up this switch goes down thanks goodbye .Thus leaving a 89 yr old lady very confused and upset ,so she had to wait until I her son got there at 6pm to put the chair in the right position move the wire fix the other chai all which should have been done by your men very very poor service Mark .Awaiting your response .
My experience with Adjustamatic was extremely good. The ordered bed was delivered and installed efficiently on time. The bed is currently in the process of being replaced due to some of the features required not being available for this model. This was only discovered after delivery. I found a few small problems with operating such as the curly lead on the control set tends to cause the controls to recoil back and fall on the floor as there is no place to store it on the bed. The handset display is also not illuminated making it difficult to read. The main problem is that when the head or foot of the bed is raised then lowered, the mattress doesn't return to it's original position and hangs several inches over the base. Despite these things I am now having the best nights sleep I have had for a long time as I am able to adjust the bed to my perfect sleeping position. I recommend very highly.

Chair is sturdy & strong which was my main priority as it is for a heavier person & the material chosen is very good quality & attractive. However the seat of the chair seems to be already sagging even though it’s only just over 1 month old so I am worried how long it will last but hopefully the warranty will cover any future problems
The installation was great . They explained to me in great detail how the products worked and i was very pleased. The product itself to be honest . I am a bit disappointed with the chair for what it cost.There are a few things that I would have expected to be better. Firstly with the chair itself. The removable headrest which fits through a small bracket on the top of the chair .It would be a nice addition to place a stud or a simple fitting to go through the fabric so that the headrest doesn't come out. Also with the headrest fabric (folded over) it would be much better taperered and finished off correctly where this has been folded over you can see this through the hem line. It doesn't look professional on an £4000 chair!!!! with normal no frills chairs from scs you don't get such shoddy finishing. Another example is the screws that hold the headrest bracket. There are no screw caps which again you would expect on a chair for that price. These simple adjustments would cost you less than a pound but would finish off a chair much betterand put a more professional finish to the Windsor model. now for the problems I have with my chair itself. There is a couple of things that I would prefer for my chair. 1. I would prefer a much firmer foam for the headrest as I do have problems with my neck and have found firmer support to be better for me. I have informed Mike and once I get the follow-up meeting with him this will be discussed further. As I would consider this an easy fix. 2. Occasionally the remote control does not work fully every time I switch it on. There has been a couple of occasions that I have had to switch it off and on again for it to work correctly. 3. The footrest doesn't always go down under its own steam, I can except that although it can be difficult on occasion to push it down with my legs I have had to move forward to put more weight on it to close properly. This is an email I sent to adjustamatic and I'm waiting for my follow up visit

The bed is very comfortable apart from that the motor stopped working are the second week I had it the service was good and the bed is very comfortable
