Requested a quote for house and buildings insurance some two weeks before expiry. Reminded them after a week. No callbacks or any response whatsoever, don't know if they were all wfh but clearly disinterested. Thank you Alan Boswell for your lack of response - due to time constraints, I have now been lumbered with a 40% increase from my original insurer! Don't waste your time with these people.

I've just switched to ABG consolidating two landlord policies under one roof. Early days but so far a very positive experience- it makes a refreshing change to have a named individual to deal with (who is also human not a bot!) with a direct dial number and who picks the phone up (or gets back promptly) when I call! So many companies nowadays do anything but.

Extremely helpful on the phone when renewing my insurance. The man was able to get me a cheaper deal and came back very quickly to inform me. I never have to wait long on the phone when calling the company.
Professional, good service, reminder emails, fair pricing
I don't think this was transparent for the customer. This customer needed so gone to explain charges face to face, and is no longer able to receive reminders online as they cannot use computers or Internet and don't follow information given on the phone.

Alan Boswell have increased my landlords buildings insurance by 19% since last year. In a cost of living crisis, and sky high mortgage rates this is a complete disgrace. Blatant profiteering. Go elsewhere and get lots of other quotes.
