Boswell per se did well and were helpful , but the criticism is focused on a very high increase in household insurance premiums which are well above the rate of inflation and justified with spurious excuses ; it feels as if the insurance companies are squeezing the system and taking advantage of the need, indeed the statutory need in the case of car insurance ,. and adding to the cost of living !

Generally pleased. A bit expensive I feel. Also I asked for a paper copy to be sent, but still not received after several weeks. It is nice to speak to someone directly though and that counts for a lot.

I am not recommending the Alan Boswell. Don't make mistake and don't look of the positive opinion as I did. Be aware that they have got companies to repair claims which cheating and don't provide the repair as according the inspection only will provide at the time of repairing the way taking a risk of the next claim. In regards to your £150 why you didn't say why you offered only £150.00 where £650.00 you cheated with your company SAGIC! and PRISM. Tree companies where work together and cheating customers saying they have Page 33 where they can do what they want .. saying in human language! Secondly your customer service do a lots of mistakes for this reason you refund £150.00 why you missed this explanation? You submitted and accepted as it is true. Another issue is with Alan Boswell if you do a claim they will chat you as they have got more than 2 companies which are dealing with the claim. After inspection they will advise the progress of work but if the time of doing the job they will not follow the advised progress only will do like they won't..using silicone on the bathtub to hide the crack ! Because there are more than one company which is involved on the claim you will find lack of communication, lack of the attention to detail, during the call the customer service is not take any actions and need to be chasing many times, no following the procedure and proces and cheating customers saying that they have got Page 33 which never want to inform before a claim! Unfortunately you are not the best insurance and most of feedbacks on Trustpilot are cheated. Don't go with the Alan Boswell.

The ease of renewal and the price. Value for money
I have used Alan Boswell for my therapist insurance for many years. The whole process is very easy and they insure for the whole range of therapies that I practise. It is easy to add an additional one if you do further qualifications. The communication is excellent and the insurance is good value.

You can't beat good staff!
I transferred to ABG several years ago and have had a very positive experience throughout. They found me a much less expensive policy, reminders of renewal have been timely, and the one issue so far (a mistaken claim from another company) they sorted promptly and thoroughly. All my contacts with them - phone and email - have been friendly and helpful. I am very happy to continue with them as my brokers.
