Guttering, facia, and soffit were all done without a problem. The front composite door, and frame were fitted perfectly However... The back door which is pvc was fitted last. The lad was working till after 6pm fitting the door, and when he finished it looked fine in the dimmed light. The following morning with better lighting I noticed that from just below the handle to the base of the door it was warped. It touched the seal just below the handle down to a 5mm or so gap at the bottom. When lifting the handle to activate the locking mechanism it pulled the door in to the seal. AWR sent a joiner out to fix it, but he said it was normal for pvc doors to be like that, and every time I close the door I have to lift the handle, and pull the warped section back in. He tightened all the mechanism to make it pull in more, and now it grates whenever I lift the handle. This will cause the metal to wear out after so many uses. The handle already seems to be looser than before, and sags a little when I let go. It's been 2 weeks since AWR sent out a joiner to do remedial work to rectify the problem I listed. However... Neither of the joiners sent out noticed what the actual problem with the door is, and it's not just what I put in the review before. The door doesn't sit in the frame properly. If you hold the handle down, so it doesn't do anything, and push the door closed; it comes to a stop over a centimetre from being closed, and tries to spring back, because door is too tight down the hinge seal, and then you have to forcibly push it to bring it to a closed position. I pointed this discovery out to the second joiner, and he said it can't be fixed as doors can only be adjusted vertically, and left to right. He said he bring this to managements attention, but that was the last I have heard about it, so far. I had also let AWR know that no rain drip was fitted to the bottom of the door to protect the bottom seal. This second joiner also came to fit a rain drip, but they sent the wrong colour.(White instead of Black to match the black door) He said they would send another, and would I mind if it was chrome instead of black if they didn't have any in stock. Two weeks later, and I'm still waiting for notification of the door problem, and the rain drip. Having contacted AWR twice, and still have no answer; Certass seems the obvious next step. 28/11/24 It's been a few weeks since my last update. AWR sent someone out a couple of weeks ago, and fitted the rain drip at the bottom of the door, but his work sheet said nothing about the other problems with the door fitting. The Certass guarantee doesn't seem to mean much as they have a clause that says 'They cannot be held responsible for any liability in the event of an installers installation not being compliant with the appropriate' regulations.' Another thing I have noticed since is that this door, frame and was probably built on a production line that pays a bonus for how many units are built as none of the small screws that hold all the fittings in place are sat correctly in the chamfered holes. They are all in at an angle, and so stick out on one side. This can't be rectified as it will weaken the fitting as the holes have already been made at an angle by the insertion of the screw into the pvc frame.

I have just had yet another call from your company and I complained that I had had several calls recently and would like my number to be removed from your database. The person who rang denied this and became very argumentative . I have had calls on 12/14/19/& 30th August and again today. I do not wish to be hassled by your salesmen and have no desire for home improvements of any sort.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I had my fascia and guttering done in April. The salesman was very pushy at the start. Which I wish I never rushed into. Absolutely shocking workmanship, all the workers was interested in doing was leaving, such a rushed job. First thing I noticed was that they left lots of stickers on all the pipes and gutters, Also there was so much other stuff wrong with the work. I rang up to complain about the stickers, and took them 2 times to come back and get them of as the first time they were still rushing to go. Then we got a horrendous leak on the gutter , I rang up and told them, they sent someone round to snag it and he found so much stuff wrong with it. I first rang up and complained beginning of June, after the man came to snag the work. I didn’t hear nothing from them until I rang them about 2nd week in August, had someone booked in to sort on Friday, another no show without phone call , so rang again got booked in for following week, had a phone call at lunch time saying they can’t make it , so they booked someone in for today and they’ve done about a hours work, put some shoddy screws in and couple more brackets . DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS!!!

The agreement number was LS4501amd the porch is absolutely fantastic it’s really beautiful and not just practical , attractive but a talking point with neighbours, family and our colleagues and friends . I am finding it adds a lot of light and so it’s making us happy with our hall so much lighter to and even our dog is laying in there in the sunshine !

Went to visit my Elderly mother to find a Rep from this company had visited and tried to deviuously get my mother to sigh a quotation that would lock her into paying a whopping £2,800 just for guttering and fascia boards. What a joke, its a max a 2 day job, Scaffolding costs upto £400 to hire for 1 week. so you can do upto 5 houses if they are all simple 1 day tasks. The materials only cost upto £120. These guttering jobs should cost no more than £800.

Really pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. Our French doors are lovely. The sales lady that came to our home was not pushy at all, this is how they all should be. The two men that installed the doors were very hard working and we were very happy with the quality of the work and the doors. We had recently decorated in that area and they completed it without a mark to our newly painted walls. Would highly recommend this company.
