Excellent customer service. Responsible lenders. All staff members are always polite and very helpful. Financial guidance and options clear and precise. Nothing hidden. Honestly couldnt be happier with the service I receive.

Whoever helped me today, i have the up most respect and time for. Very understanding, very calm, helped me just by being nice. Outstanding Customer Service, actually the best ive received at Amigo!

I found the company very flexible when the person I was guaranteeing failed to pay and they chased them up on my account apologising if I had to honour the payment. All was explained to me before I took on the endeavour. No complaints against their processes

Never had a problem with them. Got me through a bad time. They made sure I understood what I was getting into and now much and when I had to make payment. Set it up so came out on pay day without any problems. Helped me get a better credit rating. 😁

They are to court because they have just a roll, they money they rolls, I pay in full the loan with 3 months before and they charge my for late payment, when you think you are a free person they want more money from you. Never say never my agrement number is 43596910, check before,I pay a penalty payment.

Amigo seen me though a tough patch , I've never had any hassle from them along as you pay when you ment to or let them know your having trouble paying they have always been very helpful to me, ive been able to tip up the loan when I needed it ,which was quick and simple. As Loan companies go they're alright I like them and I would use um again if I had to.

Helped me when I needed it, got me through a tough patch. Yes it was a little expensive, but had no other option. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

I found amigo very good, my son needed to raise some money, I stood guarantor for him. He paid it back in full. Bad comments are a bit sad really. If you borrow money you do actually need to pay it back and people know the terms of a loan. So stop moaning please.

myself and my guarantor were both hit hard by COVID, myself working for the nhs had to take countless time off because there was no available childcare as they were all shut.. i could barely afford to pay my rent.. they did not communicate when the breathing space would be up and demand payment within 2 days. the constant harassment of texts and emails to both of us.. i tried to pay the loan off early and asked for a settlement which they refused.. as they would of lost 2000 interest even though i had paid the loan amount and more.. i will not be voting to help them out and the quicker they go into administration the better.. I have emailed and asked them to call me many times regarding the texts and emails they have just sent but nothing.. i can not call them myself as my contract has now ended.. poor company and poor customert service

Would have rated them0 but not an option today they tried to take payment off my 74 year old pensioner guarantor which will leave her overdrawn with nothing to live on for a month hopefully we have managed to stop it as direct debit was never agreed to this company had no morals at all and refuses to deal with any complaints but is happy to reduce a pensioner to tears. The sooner they’re in administration the better Updated because I’ve just had the standard reply from them as the reduced my guarantor to tears last time she spoke to them she will not be phoning you I have forwarded my harassment claim to ombudsman I’m also going to the national press try and fight for your big bonus and small payouts to customers when the press have finished with you leaving a pensioner with nothing to live on for a month you vile people

Thanks for your email today, I did not vote your quite right, I want nothing to do with compensation claims for irresponsible lending, my complaint was about the fact that, I the guarantor at the time of the arranged agreement, was on high doses of medication and cannot remember signing any forms or online signitures whatsoever I was seriously ill and had been for a long time. I've made a complaint about this but I feel I was pushed away by amigo loans and my complaint with evidence provided was not a priority for your company, the complainant was made before this scheme of arrangement and I would never recommend this company to anyone for anything. The only contact we ever get off you is if a payment is due or behind so why would I even bother voting. Your probably feel after reading this that your sorry that I feel that way, but unfortunately that's the way it is, and until you as a company have taken my complaint seriously I will not be dealing with you any further, as you have put pressure on me and my family causing destress especially to myself it's brought on sever depression and anxiety but all you as a company care about is your money 💰 and this is why you are in a crisis now "pure greed". I very much doubt anyone will read this or reply but to tell you the truth I really don't care, I hope the company does go into liquidation then everyone loses apart from the CEO Gary Jennison probably sitting on his nest egg somewhere probably in tax avoidance offshore accounts he's no different to Mark Bailey from trade center Wales. Anyway nothing more to say here

This company have no regard for their customers. I filed a claim against them for harassing my father who had recently left hospital even though I had no outstanding balance, I complained and was assured it wouldn’t happen again, I was assured his details would be removed from the system. Assuring me it wouldn’t happen again, 2 weeks later after details had apparently been deleted he was contacted again, he sent emails saying please stop and prove that money was stilled owed, they never came back to him, 6 months later NONE of the actions have been done, I still have an outstanding amount on my credit report (even though that was one of the agreements in my response to the claim that this would all disappear, when I complain again I’m offered £50! As I get nothing from Amigo I am registering a complaint with their CEO (Gary Jennison) a complaint of GDPR failure with the relevant body and finally I will be registering with a county court for the payment which is outstanding. Noted added due to Amigo response; after 9 months I expect to see my credit report updated especially when it says last updated within the last month. I received a letter from your complaints department stating that my fathers details would be deleted immediately as guarantor and he would not be contacted. This didn’t happen, they refunded me interest to bring my account to £0 then the following day added interest on! Even though they said I would receive refund for all interest.

These people are disgusting! They have charged me way more than I can afford and keep putting my interest up to now where my interest is £1,000 and over. Dealing with mental health and people passing away. They have NO care. I will be taking this further because I’m tired of dealing with these people.

Horrendous customer service. I got out a £500 loan and paid all payments on time and never fell into arrears until Covid hit and circumstances changed. They put in place a breathing space (I wasn’t informed when this breathing space would end though, got told about a week before they expected the payment) and when it finished I fell into arrears due to financial and mental health issues. I was told that they would do everything they can (which is basically nothing) to help make the payments more manageable. They ignore e-mails so if you have anxiety or struggle with that kind of communication you can forget them even thinking about bothering to answer you. It’s your priority to pay them but if you need to wait a few weeks for replies from them. My sister (who is my guarantor) was also hit hard by COVID and she hasn’t been working over the last few months and is currently severely struggling with her mental health (it’s not for me to tell everyone just how bad but it’s bad!!!). I also let Amigo know this and they STILL hounded her!!! I was asked to fill out a budgeting form so they could reassess my situation....I filled it out and got not response to it and all the while they knew our situation. Thankfully, one of my parents has came into a little money so I’ve managed to pay off the arrears to get these cretinous people off my back. This is a company currently in crisis and I can see why. I’d recommend not going anywhere near this company, you never know when your circumstances might change and if they do Amigo are NOT a company that wants to help you. With the impact they have helped add to my sister they are literally the lowest of the low. Amigo you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Signed a contract to be a guarantor for 3 years but without knowing it lasted 3 years and 10 months. The person with the loan was allowed to keep moving payment dates and take payment breaks with out checking with the guarantor which mucked up my own finances. Amigo did not do much to chase the loan payer and at one point i had to find 2 months arrears in a day, this was due to them allowing the loan payer to keep moving the payment dates and take a 6 month covid break. Amigo are great in helping people who struggle to get a loan but really should check their personally out goings and the guarantors before agreeing.

Ok so Amigo agreed to the loan. That’s the two stars. After that they get zero. The level of communication throughout was tantamount to harassment. Multiple text messages and emails on the same day followed more of the same the following day when payments were being made as required. Id never use them again.

Please do not touch this company they have put us through hell when we got into financial difficulty went to court and we had to pay via a solicitor they appointed despite paying every month they constantly bombarded me with calls text messages emails when I contacted them they had no idea what I was talking about still saying I was behind in payments it gave me so much stress and made me ill

Just saw a reply to another review stating you stopped all redress in December you have had my complaint scince August so you dragged it out to try to put it in this scheme in the meantime I have not even been informed if my complaint has been upheld the way amigo have gone about this is wrong dragged complaints out to try to stick them in this scheme so they don't have to pay out my complaint should of been dealt with way before December it's coming up to nearly a year now

Amigo have been extremely accommodating, working with my son to ensure he can meet payments each month and not default. The rates were good considering. The team are patient, helpful and friendly. Excellent service all round. :)
