partner got a 3,000 loan and i went guarantor , just now i checked 3 years into payments i have paid back 4,057 and still have got 2,000 to pay after checking some months i had 92 pound interest when i pay 118 a month

Trying to explain to the seemingly friendly troll that he and his little kingdom would be living on a breadline if this was to happen, the prince was informed - in no uncertain terms - that there was nothing he could do about this sudden price hike, and he didn't have a legal leg to stand on. The moral of this story is a simple one, my friends. Don't take money from seemingly friendly trolls, as underneath their pleasant demeanor their soul is as black and poisonous as any snake you may find.
As my loan comes to an end, I have nothing but positives to say. From day 1 they were great with the loan process and what the interest etc entails, easy to track on the app too. Monthly payments are reasonable, I would like to think I would not need another loan in the future, but If so will definitely be going to Amigo!
The staff at Amigo are very helpful and polite. They understand the customers and try to help you in anyway they can. I would definitely recommend Amigo to anyone that needs help with loans.

This is the worst loan company I have ever known I certainly will not be recommending to anyone . When you ring they are nasty to you and when you leave a message asking can they ring back they donβt bother when you are paying a loan off they tell you one amount so you pay it all off then get a an other text saying you still owe so much . When people have lost their jobs and they are trying to explain and asking if they can lower their payments till they can sort it out they are nasty to the guarantee.

Amigo loans Decided to go with Amigo loans and I'm glad I did. Very supportive and everything is explained Had my loan over 2 years to suit my financial Income and was a delight. It's a shame other companies in this industry don't follow suit . My last 2 payments I had to move forward And Amigo loans sympathise and wasn't a problem, quick and simple Well done Amigo loans ,you are a pleasure

EXELLENT COMPANY AND FAIR. THIS COMPANY DOES EVERYTHING TO MAKE IT CLEAR OF YOUR LOAN RESPONSIBILITIES, ALSO THEY CHECK YOUR GAURANTOR'S CREDENTIALS TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PROPER BACK-UP IF YOU FALL ON HARD TIMES. YOUR GAURANTOR SHOULD BE FULLY PREPARED TO PAY THE LOAN REPAYMENTS IF YOU CANNOT, SO DON'T COMPLAIN AT THE COMPANY IF THIS HAPPENS. MY GAURANTOR DIED WHILE IN MIDDLE OF MY LOAN . SO I STILL CONTINUED MY PAYMENTS WITH NO-ONE TO BACK ME UP. THE COMPANY WAS AWARE OF THIS AND ACCEPTED MY SITUATION. YES IT'S NICE TO HAVE THE LOAN MONEY , BUT THE HARD BIT IS PAYING IT BACK. Horrendous company. Glad they are not offering any more loans. I needed money, knew I had a poor credit history so accepted the rediculous interest so I'm not going to complain about that. 2 years into my 5 year loan I fell pregnant and was only entitled to statutory maternity. Needless to say I saved a lot whilst working to cover costs. But my last month of maternity I was struggling an called to ask for help. Explaining I was on statutory an I'd managed to cover the last 6 months with savings and asked for help for the final month advising I was due to go back to work the following month. At this point I'd been paying 396 a month for 3 years and never paid late. The guy on the phone even commented that my account "was a very well paid account" before advising they'd go to my guarantor if I couldn't pay. The call had me in tears no help whatsoever for 1 month that's all I wanted. I offered to make it up over the coming months if a 1 month payment holiday wasn't something they could do but nope they'll go to my guarantor. Whilst my guarantor fully knew what she was signing up for the majority of people who sign up for these loans have no intention of ever having to use them. What I'm annoyed at is there bold claims they work with the loan holder firstly before reaching out to the guarantor, yet when I asked for help knowing I'd struggle to the that following months payment I got pretty much told nothing we can do ended up getting a payday loan to cover it which started a whole other mess. Needless to say when I went back to work the first thing I did was re asess my credit score turns out I'd improved it alot over the last 3 years an could get a far better interest loan an paid them off as soon as I could. Disgusting company.
Do not use this company all they do is Harass you and bombard you with emails and text messages I am a guarantor on a loan which unfortunately the Leander cannot pay now but has offered payment This was not good enough for them and are constantly harassing me for payment Dreadful company and staff
STOP!!! DONT DO IT!!! DONT GET AN AMIGO LOAN!!! Worst decision Iβve ever made! This isnβt because I defaulted or that they harassed me or anything like that, itβs simply because of the absolutely insane interest rates and how they calculate it. Took out. Β£5000 loan, figuring Iβd pay it off early after a year or so once Iβm sorted financially. After 2 years, I still owed over Β£4000! Itβs clever on their part, means people are reluctant to pay off early, which in turns means more interest for them at extortionate rates. If you want to consolidate loans, there are cheaper alternatives out there. If you just want some extra money for holiday, house improvements etc sell a kidney or something, itβd be better financially than going here. Edit: to the human/robot responding to this, you do realise ive had the loan and suffered through your midrange interest, right? Literally nothing you or anyone else can say to convince me that getting one of your loans was a good idea. Edit 2: also, learn the difference between βthenβ and βthanβ, and then use them correctly because itβs the most infuriating thing Iβve ever had the displeasure of seeing
Absolutely disgusting loan provider. I have asked if the gaurantour could be removed. The reason being, is that he is being violent towards me and my damily. I have had to report it to the police. Im at my wits end, i darent leave the house. Amigo have said not there problem. Well it is if anything happens to either myself or family
I have paid over 20k for a mis-sold 10k loan and they are just ignoring all my communications, I have another Β£3600 left to pay back, doubt I will have a remedy before I complete the payments, they are masters at using delay tactics. People stand firm! Their usual scripted replies always mention that the interest rates are reasonable and what we agree too, which would make perfect sense if I wasnβt mis-sold the damn loan to begin with. I will keep complaining to FCA and FSO and as last resort take them to court myself. I think all customers should consider lodging a court case thatβs the only way we will be heard.
