Sent In my complaint regarding unaffordable lending on 4 loans nearly ten weeks ago now and still no final response. There is no guarantor involvement so I am struggling to understand why my complaint has not been resolved yet. Very disappointed that no one can advise when I can expect to receive my final response either. Shambles.

21 days after my complaint was raised, I received redress; I accepted around 5pm and the money was in my bank 2 hours later.

Good Morning I hope you are well. STILL waiting on a response to my callback request from earlier this week. Today will mark working day 14 since I called to accept my redress. I am reading online to see people waiting way past the 20 working days so I am not willing to accept the generic responses I keep receiving about giving The company time. I do not recall being afforded time when I called to change payment date after making payments for best part of 4 years. I have numerous requests for a call back on my mobile which have not been acknowledged yet with your worst example of a generic response coming yesterday when there was (customer name) left in the email response. Please arrange my call back or the transfer of monies by the end of today or I will have no choice but to retract my acceptance of the redress and continue escalation with FOS given that there is still the ridiculous unpaid interest to dispute. One star is generous! Raised affordability complaint in June had loans and top ups over 5 years and never missed a single payment. Received letter 24th August last day of 8 week deadline to say upholding my complaint for 4/5 loans. As guarantor paid entire loan off they offeres her 10 grand which she declined. Was advised they would provide redress figure to me no later than 5 working days after 7/9 which was yesterday. Nothing. I sent an email yesterday advising will escalate to FOS if no reply by end of today. So far nothing. Absolutely furious I borrowed the money I have struggled for 5 years to make these horrendous repayments yet they don’t even have the decency to write to me to tell me what redress is due. Paid my repayment instalment on 26 August as normal 2 days after they upheld my complaint and released guarantor from liability - they will NOT be getting anymore money out of me! I am now sending emails every single day until they sort this out! I am truly disgusted with these people they ignore all communications and if you do get a reply its a generic crap response. Rue the day I started borrowing from these but Im done with you now Amigo!

Raised my initial complaint with Amigo in January 2020. Was informed 8 weeks to investigate, these passed and they requested another 4 - radio silence from them which forced me to take this to the FOS. This was raised in June. Still I have had NO final written response from Amigo directly to me, which they should STILL be providing and could stop all action with the FOS. People are raising complaints and having them dealt with in days. I've managed to obtain the email addresses for the Senior Management team and will post these if I'm not given a response from Amigo. To anyone else, don't give up - keep chasing these snakes and harrass them daily if you need to. Currently on a payment break but they won't get another penny out of me until they have responded directly to ME with a final response.

I've received sar... but can't access it, I've sent numerous emails to both email adresses but still haven't received any update, you have always said "In the meantime if you need to contact us or have any further concerns please do not hesitate to call us on..... or email..... and we would be happy to help".......Clearly not.. Not once have I received a reply in 4 years

Raised a complaint regarding a unaffordable loan on the 28th of June I'm still waiting a final response, I've been told it will be in the next 4 weeks they will respond that will be (9th October) this is truly shocking!

Terrable company raised complaint as i was missold my loan still no final decision i would strongly urge anyone in need of a loan go to another company who value all there customers.

Redress accepted on 21st August, still nothing as of yet. However seen some people accepted after this and have been paid? Tried to contact amigo but no response. I appreciate the offer that they have made me, however I feel I’m rapidly losing hope if I ever get it! The review will be updated once received.... if received... Day 28... still no update, no money!! My reference is 37712956 Sick of trying to make contact with no help at all!

Shocking service from Amigo Loans.! Being told each day that my redress refund would be in my account by 6pm and still i am waiting. Being passed from one person to the next. They are quick enough to hound you for payment but they are useless when it comes to them owing money.. Disgraceful service and would not recommend to anyone..!!

Legalised Loan Sharks. I have a complaint with them that is way over 300 days old and it is still not resolved. They use threatening behaviour and non stop harassment to ensure you make payment even when you have an affordability complaint pending an decision. They even refused an Adjudicators decision at the FOS. I had a partial payment overdue by 10 days and I was threatened with default. They are very intimidating and use bullying techniques to get their way. God knows how they are allowed to operate.

Wouldn’t even give it a star tbh ...... every payment for a year paid in time and when I lost my job Due to covid and illness asked them if I could pay on the 16th of the month I gave them ample amount of time to be notified but constants texts messages and phone calls to my guarantor even though I phoned them and informed my guarantor threatening to ruin my credit score because I paid late and I don’t mean a late marker I mean ruin it arnt companies supposed to support you at these hard times instead of harassing you and your guarantor it’s an awful company and I now regret getting the loan just want to pay them and never ever will I return to such a bullying company

I sent an email to Amigo asking them to provide all information they hold on me and all evidence to confirm all checks were carried out when my loans were taken out... I was told this information will be with me within 30 days, it’s now been 40!! I currently have a complaint reference 22728087 ongoing which an update would be greatly appreciated!

So following on from their promise of redress figures by 18th August and my last review on 21st August, I can confirm that I am still waiting!! They are now three weeks overdue in providing me with figures, after already waiting 6 months for them to make a decision on my claim. Amigo are an absolute disgrace. I have begged and begged them over the phone and email to sort it out as I need it rectified for my mental health as well as my financial situation. They do not care. Some people who put in their claims last month have been paid out already. It is beggers belief. They owe me thousands, I wish I could actually get them done for theft as they are withholding my money. I am looking into court action. Their comment on my last review said they will get this sorted as soon as they are able, but some people put in their first complaint after the date of my last review and have already received their redress. My case is not complicated. They just clearly aren't working through it chronologically or fairly. They should be ashamed of themselves, I don't know how they sleep at night.

I accepted my redress offer on the 7th of August which now takes me to 22working days waiting for my payment, I have now today received another email asking me to accept an offer with no redress payment. Come on amigo is this some kind of joke??

Very slow to get to final offer on redress which was giving to me on the 31st aug i accepted now very happy to just get paid out glad im rid of this loan now but thanks to amigo for getting payment to me on time

Payment for my redress offer was attempted on 26th August but because of a mistake on someone spelling my surname wrong it couldn’t be made, you have cleared my account amount tho no problem. I was told by Natalie from complaints team on the 28th August I would be on the next payment batch the following week (last week) but surprise suprise I wasn’t, I have rang & emailed multiple time’s asking for this to be sorted out and to have the remaining amount paid to me. It’s disgusting it isn’t being sorted at all but they can manage to clear what was owed and my account is still sitting minus with the funds that is owed to me!!

Still waiting on redress money first they said 15 days then 20 days now 25 days I am patiently waiting so if it goes past 25 days I will be giving lower star until I receive redress

Received my final response on 03.07 and been told I will receive my calculations not later than 17 July till now nothing ... can you tell me how long more I have to wait for my calculations ? I see people receiving it very quick

Got my calculations from Amigo , and after looking Into things I can see they haven’t followed the FOS guidelines , they didn’t removed all the interest and there own customer relation teams could see my calculations were wrong accepted it verbally . But when they put me on hold and spoke too the redress team. they came back to me saying that it was there last offer and that they followed the FOS guidelines and there’s nothing more they can do . The guarantors redress was wrongly calculated but again refused too look into it .wrote multiple emails. No reply . Complaint has been open for a year now.should never of been this long . They have their own calculations too Save them a few quid . Check your statements before accepting .
