Mar 20,2022Do yourself a favour do not ever borrow from this company. They have many complaints against them for lending to people who can't afford to repay. Plus the intrest rate makes it very difficult to pay them off In a reasonable time frame. Would give them negative stars if possible. Stay away, I made the mistake of guarantoring for a friend with this company. Never again, I'm free of them now. They can go to hell

Mar 17,2022I have never used Amigo Loans nor given my consent to be a guarantor for anyone. However Amigo loans seemed to feel very differently about this and without my consent added me as a guarantor for my then partner. When my partner didn't pay for almost a year I then started getting hounded by a company I had never heard of or used and threatened legal action. To cut a long story short I said I didn't accept the debt as had never authorised it so they took me to court without inviting me or telling me when or what they were doing and gave me a ccj without my knowledge. This company deserves to remain closed, they don't check anything and allow fraud to be committed, are rude and don't listen, and one way or another, whether you have ever dealt with them or not, they will get money from you. £4,000 for something I never authorised, never knew about and would never have been involved with,also don't have that partner anymore!

Mar 16,2022They are a DISGRACE & Need closed down . They Lie Lie Lie and are Rude Rude Rude. Dont trust them and Do Not Ever Borrow of them. Customers are still awaiting compo from this company and customers should now take thier own civil action against Amigo Loans as they seem to so far got away with it.. If they are allowed to start relending while they have not paid compo to other customers that they have already conned & Ripped off then the people need go to court and close down now.

Mar 10,2022Please, please stay away from this awful company! They are thieves....they are liars, the staff is very rude...they don't want to help you at all! I took a loan in 2018, £10.000, for 4 years....I paid back £15.500, I can't afford to pay more, after 3 years and a half ( I paid each month £427 on this period) and now they are telling me that I borrowed money in 2019...and I have to still pay them 19 months. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Go to he'll Amigo...I won't pay you any cent more. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Please stay away from them!

Mar 03,2022The worst company at all times. Don't go with these absolute cowboys! The interest rates are astronomical. They harass you non stop and are not reasonable at all with their solutions (if you miss your payment date by even one day their sending letters, calling you, texting, emailing and making threats of legal action & also your guarantor will also receive all of this). 4 weeks payment for Amigo Loans was £ 415.40 Interest accrued by Amigo Loans was ££390.34 So, actually towards my loans I've been paid only £25.06 (What a joke). An interest rate that high should be made illegal. Utterly disgusted with this companies underhand tactics to drain as much money out of you as possible.... Don't let them scam you! Stay away from these bunch of scammers. Already made complaint about Amigo Loans to Financial Ombudsman Service.

She was friendly, caring and wanted to make sure she could help me in any way possible. I honestly couldn't fault her in any way. Feb 19,2022SO JUST A QUICK UPDATE TO MY BELOW REVIEW: I’ve been treated like absolute trash all because I wanted to make a payment. I still have no access to my account nor an explanation to what happened and why I can’t access the account. I can’t make a payment over the phone because they can’t find my loan agreement?! So being responsible I made a bank transfer to make sure it gets there and guess what 2 weeks later I received my credit report saying that a payment has not been made and I’ve got a missed marker on my report!!! You know the payment has been received because I haven’t been harassed for it every 2 minutes and neither has been my guarantor - payment was made 4 days before I was due to receive a late payment marker but that was because I was trying to come up with ways to make sure my payment gets there safely due to them locking me out of my account for no reason. This has caused me so much stress it’s unreal. I’m due to finish paying it this august and now with this is all happening I don’t know what to do. I will have to take it further as this is getting out of hand now. Luckily I have all the proofs bank statements etc so they will not have a foot to stand on. The day they disappear will be the best day off my life.

Feb 13,2022I have never written any review against this horrendous non-company of Bournemouth loan sharks, as up to now, I have collated material from desperate consumer victims, I have evidence against how they think they can treat people, and have been allowed to get away with it, as it makes no difference whatsoever, whom an Amigo customer will complain to, you will find yourself stymied. From the FCA, FCA Commissioner, FOS, your MP and in my case Rishi Sunak, they will all speak the same jargon, as there are too many investors, shareholders and banks etc; whom together with Amigo, are taking big interest continually from all of us! Amigo should never be allowed to call themselves that name, as they are definitely the opposite to friend! They are the most non-friendliest of back street bailiff style loan sharks!. Whatever the scam/scheme provides, it is a pittance if it should succeed in what anyone will receive in compensation compared to the grossly vile interest they take from consumers. A moratorium given to Amigo last year, was not fair at all, as it should have been given at the same time to Amigo’s victims whom like myself, were all mislead by false advertising. It is quite appalling! Therefore, having spoken to a legal team, who have a number of personnel who for whatever reason, also took Amigo loans and they completely understand where thousands of people are coming from, as it is sub judice until this ridiculous, continuing saga is addressed once again in court, depending on the outcome, they will be of support for me. There are a number of them who deal with CFA (conditional fee arrangement) or no win no fee, and it seems a way forward for many customers to go this route. Take care and good luck to all consumers.

Feb 10,2022Nie polecam nikomu brać od nich pożyczki na dłużej niż 14 dni. Bo w tym czasie mozesz oddac co pożyczyłeś bez tego horrendalnie wysokiego oprocentowania. Bylam guarantorem dla przyjaciela który wzioł szybką pożyczke na kilka tysięcy na 5 lat co jest totalną głupotą nie dość że zapłacił 2 razy więcej to jeszcze nas okradali bo ciagla mają problemy z systemem. Pobrali mojemu przyjacielowi pieniędze jak co miesiąc z tym ze zaczeli do mnie pisac ze nie zapłacił i ja mam zapłacić prawie 400 za niego. Mój przyjaciel pokazałam mi wyciag z banku ze pobrali jak zawsze i obiecał ze do nich zadzwoni po ponad 1,5h próbowania dodzwonić sie do nich wybiła godzina końca ich pracy więc i telefony się wyłączyły i musiał czekać do ponownego otwarcie na drugie dzien rano z mojego konta pobrali pieniądze a raczej ukradli bo juz pobrali to co im sie należało z konta mojego przyjaciela gdy wkoncu udalo nam się dodzwonić do nich po bardzo długim czasie powiedziali nam ze numer referencyjny transakcji z konta mojego przyjaciela NIE JEST PRZYPISANY DO JEGO pożyczki! Tylko kogoś innego więc nie widzą żadnej wplaty z jego konta co znaczy że pobrali z mojego z godnie z procedurami. I powiedziali żebyśmy to załatwili miedzy sobą i w banku jak chcemy bo z ich punktu widzenia nie ma problemu mają pieniądze pobrane raz. Dodał również że blad systemu sie zdążyć bo to nie oni TYLKO inna firma pobiera pieniądze od klientów a nir oni wiec nie ich wina tak że mieli to gdzieś. W banku nie bylo to takie oczywiste i proste do załatwienia zwłaszcza ze covid zawitał po wielu dniach mój przyjaciel odpuścił użeranie sie z bankiem w którym praktycznie nikt nie pracuje nawet przy telefonie przez covid, oddal mi pieniędze i liczyliśmy że wiecej się to nie zdąży. Złudnie bo po kilku miesiącach ta sama sytuacja się powtórzyła, okradli mnie z prawie 400 mimo że już mieli pieniędze z konta mojego przyjaciela i również tym razem mieli nas gdzieś. Tym razem mój przyjęciel nie odpuścił i odzyskał pieniądze przez bank ale to tez nie bylo takie proste i patrzyli na niego jak na oszusta który nabrał pożyczki i teraz nie chce oddać. Ale mniejsza o to, dopieor jak on zamkną konta a ja zmieniałam dane karty przestali od nas kraść wysyłali tylko pogróżki że mam zaktualizować dane karty i co miesięcy przypominali o terminie zapłaty BO INACZEJ czekają nas konsekwencje prawne. Moj przyjaciel co miesiąc DZWONIŁ do nich i płacił rate przez telefon co tez nie bylo proste bo czasem przez 3 dni dzwonił zanim wkonu się dodzwonił... Tak że NIGDY WIĘCEJ!

Feb 10,2022If I could give 0 stars I would..I took out a 3000 pound loan and payed 119 pound a month for nearly 4 years and it still would have taken another 4.5 years to finish paying it off. Fortunately I was in a position to pay the rest off to avoid the additional 4 plus years. They took 80 pound interest each month out of the 119 pound monthly arrangement!! They should be wearing masks!! I would never have taken a loan out if I had known then the ridiculous interest rate..I urge anyone who is considering using this company to avoid them like the plague.
