Neelam Trinkha did our very complex and tricky lease extension on our flat. She was relentless in getting the right documents, the right wording, chasing up and pursuing other parties involved. Her dudiligence was second to none Without Neelams involvement we would probably be still trying to complete the extension. I highly recommend Amphlett Lissimore but be sure to use Neelam, she's knows her stuff, will get the job done with the upmost efficiency.
Claire made whole process so easy for us. Quick, professional, thorough and efficient - very good at her job, and would recommend her services to anyone purchasing/selling their house. And to top it all of friendly and nice to speak to!
We have just completed on the sale of a property and am very happy with the professional service from Amphlett Lissemore's West Wickham office. The communication was prompt and efficient, they quickly relayed information to others in the chain and always kept me up dated. They were very approachable and friendly making it easy to ask questions. It can be very stressful selling a property but they made the whole process much easier.
Claire is very good, very professional and great at communicating. Kept us informed on the matter and was great at progressing things forward. Would highly recommend her services.
Adele McCabe recently helped us to obtain grant of probate, managing the process on our behalf from start to finish. Adele was most helpful, giving explanations where needed so we could make informed decisions. Her manner was friendly and professional, communications timely, and all proceeded smoothly. Thank you to Adele and her assistant Katrine, your excellent service is very much appreciated.
Nigel and team are excellent solicitors and helped me with three different property transactions so far. Super responsive and reliable. Will come for the next one as well!
Working with Neelam (Lease extension) and Geetha (Conveyancing) was a 5* experience. Honestly, with the complexities, freeholder and processes they navigated means I have nothing but good words for them, I doubt most would have got it through. Both Geetha and Neelam have an OUTSTANDING habit of keeping in touch, whether they'd heard back or not, it just kept me completely in the loop. Whenever anyone wanted an update they were already on it and usually was a step ahead. They both went the extra mile. Really just outstanding solicitors. I cannot speak highly enough of Neelam and Geetha. They absolutely deserve all the praise in the world, and at the very least a good review!!
prompt and personal communication in what proved to be a tricky transaction. I would recommend AL on all property matters
I had a great experience with this firm who were extremely helpful and at every step made me feel very comfortable, both in the initial advice and appointment set-up and during the consultation, where I could ask any questions and receive clear, unambiguous advice in language I could understand. Very impressed by the personal touch from this firm and would highly recommend Estella Newbold-Brown for any family law questions.
Nicola Curtis and Claire Pays managed our sale and purchase process recently and they have been amazing, I cannot fault them. So friendly and kind, I never felt like my endless emails or questions were a bother. I felt like they held our case in mind and were really responsive and proactive on everything. We felt very safe with them and would recommend them to anyone.
As a leaseholder and percentage shareholder of our Freehold company, I engaged Neelam to assist with the extension and standardising of several leases within our building. Neelam is thorough, easy to speak to and sought to have a good understanding of the issues affecting our leases and title deed for the building. She gave very helpful advice with issues strictly outside of her particular role of engagement. I would highly recommend her. Thank you Neelam!
Absolutely an amazing service from start to finish in the sale of my property. Claire Pays and her team were fantastic. Always returned my phone calls and were incredibly efficient. Will definitely use again.
We were referred to Amphlett Lissimore to handle the conveyancing for our first property purchase. Overall we were very happy with the service provided, Vursha was always very helpful and supportive, and her work was extremely thorough, so we felt confident that we would get the best possible service at all times. There were a few hiccups along the way initially, since I believe the person first assigned to us left the company, and when Vursha took over we had to re-send some of the documents and re-clarify some things. Like the fact that we are first time buyers and didn't need to pay stamp duty, which was repeatedly put down incorrectly and we had to ask to change it. In the end the amount we paid was significantly higher than what was initially quoted due to some additional charges for extra work, which was unpleasant but not unexpected, as I've been told this is quite normal. Overall we were very happy with the service provided and how it was handled, and I would recommend your services to others.
A great team that responds professionally and quickly .
Amphlett Lissimore in West Wickham provided a really first rate service. They were dedicated and efficient and communicated really well. Nicola Curtis and Claire Pays were fantastic. They were very friendly, very helpful and went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend them.
Claire Pays was incredible , very efficient and thorough . We were let down at the last minute by our previous solicitor and Claire quite literally saved the day .
We were lucky enough to be assisted by Ms Geetha Janarthanan. It is not everyday that your solicitor actually responds to emails and queries - and does so in an clear fashion. Geetha stepped in for a colleague and simply turned the process around by accelerating all paperwork and restoring order in a heartbeat. We were ultra pleased with the service in the end. I would also like to say that the post-exchange/completion team is very responsive and very engaged. Would certainly recommend.
Brilliant in every way and reassured me all the way. Great thanks.
We used Amphlett Lissimore back in 2021 for the purchase of our first home which completed early 2022. The process was ok at best. Our first solicitor (Angie) was sub standard and her communication/correspondence was below par. Our case eventually got reassigned to Baljeet who was again ok but we had to chase for a lot of information. Both have since left the company I believe. All the above can be forgiven, however what comes next cannot. Our fixed rate was coming to an end so we were in the remortgage process. Our new solicitors could not find our title deeds on the Land Registry. They later found them but Amphlett Lissimore (AL) did not submit the changes to the Land Registry back in 2022 and they still had the old owners names on. Bear in mind now our whole remortgage process ground to a halt due to AL incompetence and we are fast approaching a variable rate payment. I raised this to AL through their contact E-Mail. No reply. I called and spoke to Janice Lock, explained the issue and she asked me to E-Mail her directly. Jasmine Norton then picked up the chain and ask the post completion team to submit the changes. I had to chase Jasmine 3 times for an update and only on the third did she reply saying the changes were submitted. We hit our 1st variable rate payment due to this hold up caused by AL. Jasmine Norton sends us our new title deeds with our names on. We go back to our new solicitors and they inform us that they are again incorrect as there are no charges on the deeds. Why didn't AL check our case file? They knew nothing was changed. Incompetence. Again we start the process of getting the charges added to the title deeds. Jasmine asks the post completion team to submit the changes to the Land Registry (18th Jan 2024). More than 10 business days go by. I chase with emails twice. Jasmine then updates me on the 9th Feb 2024 that there is an issue and the changes haven't even been submitted. Why wasn't I updated instantly? I made the necessary changes with our new solicitors within 24 hours and made Jasmine aware. They then submitted the changes we got our new title deeds. By the time we got our new deeds also hit our 2nd variable payment due to delays by AL. In total we paid £1500 in unnecessary interest due to the hold up cause by AL. During this whole process we did not even get an apology or any compensation from AL. If I could give 0 stars as a review I would. The service was absolutely disgraceful. I would not recommend anyone using ALs services. Ever. AL, if you reply to this I am happy to send you the E-Mail correspondence which will back everything I have said. Nothing short of diabolical. Josh.
