I purchased a property with them and found out after six years that I really can not sell it because Tracy McAneny's team didn't perform a decent job. They didn't examine the lease restrictions to tell the seller then to install carpet when I bought the house with laminate floors in the hallway and front room. Now when I want to sell my flat, I discovered that I needed to put carpet in order to sell it, and I paid £400 for nothing. When I asked Tracy why her staff didn't see that with the seller six years ago, she was really harsh, blaming me for not noticing it in the folders. She was disrespectful and unprofessional instead of apologising. I paid them a lot of money to do the work right, but now I'm finding about their professional mistakes. God knows what I will discover next. Be careful when instructing them to work for you.

Jul 07,2021We were their clients for years but sadly after the departure of John Cooke, the company’s standards deteriorated to the point that we decided to change solicitors. We received a very poor service from Amphlett Lissimore; unresponsive, unprofessional, inconsistent advice and a very poor customer service. We gave them one chance after another but after a year of trying, we decided that enough was enough. We sent feedback to their partners but again no response or any interest in their customers’ views. We would not recommend this company.

We were not disappointed - he and his team were professional, knowledgeable and responsive (he responded to all emails within hours if not minutes!). We had quite a few challenges along the journey with solicitors of other parties on the chain being slow, difficult and unresponsive, but Nigel and his team handled them very well and got us there in the end. Moving house is definitely one of the most stressful things in life and having a good solicitor makes a huge difference.
