May 20,2024I had Kidney stone operation which was pre-authorised by the insurer direct with Bumrungrad hospital. The following day I had complications and ended up in emergency room. I required another procedure which Bangkok Hospital arranged direct with the insurer. I had no expenses for either procedure - they were both fully covered.

I was advised by my employer to contact April as return flights could be claimed under compassionate grounds. May 12,2024After a breast cancer suspicion found during a routine check up in Vietnam, I decided to get some further tests in Bangkok. Dr Pawee of April rang me on several occasions and emailed me with advice and assurance guiding me toward the next steps and offering me medical advice. She researched my case, actively checked up on me, and was a wealth of knowledge as well as counsel. The preauthorisation was quick and efficient and all the costs for the exams (which amounted to a lot) were covered in full by April. This was a stressful time and without Dr Pawee, it would have been a lot more stressful. I recommend April for anyone.

A broken wrist which involved surgery, approved easily & quickly, medical tests & prescriptions issued in Bangkok, wide coverage (including hiking in Nepal), a million emails back & forth over the years with a very patient Thomas! Would 100% recommend for those living overseas.

May 28,2024Je ne vous conseille absolument pas April International. S'il n'y a pas d'urgence, tout ira très bien et ils rembourseront les factures de médecins assez rapidement. En revanche, nous avons eu 3 expériences d'hospitalisations en urgence. April n'a jamais décroché son téléphone et donc pris en charge l'hospitalisation, ce qu'elle aurait dû fair. Nous avons dû avancer des sommes astronomiques et j'ai mis plus de 6 mois à être remboursée la 1ere fois et là j'attends toujours les autres remboursements. J'ai perdu de nombreuses heures et beaucoup d'énergie à les relancer et leur faire comprendre la situation. En vain pour le moment. La communication entre chaque service ( remboursement / hospitalisation ) est une catastrophe. bref ! choisissez une autre assurance !
