Feb 26,2014I order Nekton Lory diet for my lories. I have a distributor for Nekton only 3 hours from me for whom I have ordered from for years. My local distributor has repeatedly provided poor customer service, constantly out of stock, often not available via phone when I have a question, and I found that I could not count on them anymore for accurate delivery dates. As Lory food is not something I can run out and purchase at a local market, accurate delivery time and in-stock items are crucial to me. Arcata Pet has provided great customer service and usually I receive my package before their ETA. Even though they are quite a distance from where I live I will continue to order from them. I appreciate their attention to detail.

I call in my credit card numbers and I always get to speak with a friendly representative.My order is always followed up with a confirmation and they always keep me updated on my shipment etc... prices are fair and I feel they are outstanding. I wouldn't order from any other company!

And the email was signed by a person...not a title or department; this made the transaction friendly, and if I had questions I could contact them. I really appreciated this personal customer service touch. For someone not use to shopping & buying online...this made the experience more comfortable.

Feb 17,2014We are very happy with ArcataPet.com. I took the liberty of calling Arcata Pet before placing my order and had a helpful and warm conversation with Chris. Chris was caring, a great listener, and extremely professional regarding the needs for one of our pet parrots. Our Lory, Ruby, is a nectar-feeding species. An essential feeding nectar needed for her health, which we used for years, became unavailable for Ruby, which worried us. Chris devoted several minutes of his personal time with me, walking me through helpful steps that were critical in converting Ruby's diet. It worked. Ruby is now using Blessing's Gourmet Nectar and just loving it. She likes it much better than the previous diet she was on for years. I have never been treated so cordially and perceptively by a pet professional in the past 23 years of having my parrots. I recently called Chris to inform him of the good news and how his professional conversion methods and care assisted Ruby. Chris was delighted his concern paid off. I am extremely impressed with ArcataPet.com and will be relying on this company for all of our future birds' nourishment and needs. What a great company. Thank you beyond words!

Feb 15,2014Ordered two bird supplements and chose the least expensive mailing option. I was very suprised to receive them a couple of days afterwords. The woman I spoke with about my order was very friendly and, apparently, very efficient. I ordered a German product that was on sale at a lower price because the expiration date was for January of 2015. After putting my order through I decided to add another vitamin supplement to my order and when I called she asked immediately if I would be interested in one that was offered at a lower price because of the same expiration date. I got what I was looking for at a vastly reduced price.

Was getting darn tough to find it anywhere, but they always have it stock. they do a great job on processing my order and getting it out to me fast. This is a good thing since my daughter doesn't always tell me in a timely fashion that she is running low on food for the rabitt
