My call was treated with efficiency and friendliness. Very pleased and will surely recommend Asda to friends and colleagues. Thank you Asda
This is my third review of Asda mobile, I am writing one per week so that they will remain current to warn anyone considering a new Pay-As-You-Go account and SIM that Asda's website (always flaky), continues to be completely broken and will not allow new users to link the SIM to their account. You will not, therefore, be able to put your credit card on that account and proceed to use the SIM in a sane and secure way. This has been the position for months now. Customer Services do their best to be helpful, but beware them telling you that there is a website update in progress, or that there is a problem with your browser and to delete cookies / history etc. This is not the case.
Reasonably easy to do, website could be a bit difficult
I had to update my debit card details and the lady I spoke to was very friendly and patient. It was done very efficiently. Thank you
It’s been over a month and I still haven’t received my refund. Today I called them again, explaining the situation and telling them that my AirPods were never sent to me as there was no tracking, and that it was promised for weeks I would get my refund. The kind man decided to not give a shit and just ended the call. Then called again and a women answered. I honestly had to shed tears as Asda’s customer support is so awful and all I want is my money back. I ordered the AirPods at the beginning of Jan and we are into February now. Asda are criminals, the people that work for them purposely cover things up as they don’t want to give you your money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Considering a lawsuit at this point as it is absolutely outrageous and I cannot get my money back.
Absolutely don’t bother only just joined and already regretting my decision heavily. Website is the biggest load of crap I’ve ever cane across. First of all so buggy so many issues with it, been trying to buy a phone for 4 days now crashes at checkout filled out the form at least 20 times everytime I go to pay for the phone it shows a blank screen with no loading. Annoying thing is sim payment went through so now I’m already with them I’m not even trying to get it on contact called to pay over the phone no luck gave a customer support email which is also terrible 3 day replies. Very unreliable love asda the shop but the amount of frustration and going around in circles is unbelievable especially for such a big business. Seems like their prices also reflect their customer service cheap something they skimp out on. May just cancel my sim and cut my losses had the money sitting in my bank for the phone not been taken just honestly please for your own sanity do not bother
Struggling to get mum registered for monthly payment
Simple calls requirement minimal data required. This was the most cost effective SIM on the market
Quickly connected to agent. No awful piped music. Agent dealt efficiently and effectively with my problem. I'm a happy Asda mobile user.
I have only just signed up with Asda Mobile but so far everything has gone really smoothly. No complaints at all and so much cheaper than my last provider.
Asda mobile has a PAYG package for calls and texts only unlike many other providers.
Amazing service. You can always speak to a real person and everyone I have dealt with has been very helpful and efficient.
They did not transfer my number correctly over as requested. I now have a phone that rings out with my previous number, but if I text it uses a random number. I have contacted the technical team, who have said they will pass it on to the team. 2 weeks later still no update. So I will have to ring again
All good, works fine
It all went as planned
Well the deal with roaming was great only let down was the issue trying to set up a account
Service agent was most helpful and sympathetic to my predicament and was quickly able to assist
Outstandingly helpful
The customer service representative was friendly and efficient. My query was resolved quickly to my complete satisfaction. I couldn't have asked for better service.

Feb 07,2025ASDA MOBILE goes from strength to strength but in the WRONG direction. It originally took me a lot of effort (about a year ago) to get ASDA MOBILE to accept top up payment for PAYG without registering a credit card. So far I've managed to top it up twice at an ASDA store using cash. Today I went to an ASDA store to top up my phone but was told sorry this is an old card and it wont work with our new tills. You could ***TRY*** the store in Bridgend. Great so I've got to drive about 20 miles (each way) to ***TRY*** to put credit on my phone. Ok, so next time I'm in the Bridgend ASDA store I'll try to put credit on my phone but if this doesn't work then I'm switching provider. Why do I want to use cash? Is it for some nefarious reason? Hardly, ASDA MOBILE has my name and home address, it's how they sent me the SIM. The fact is that if someone hacks ASDA and gets my credit card details and my phone number then I could loes a lot of money and waste a lot of time trying to fix the problem. Two people I know have had their account details stolen (one from a bank and one from a pension company). It took several months to sort each out and the stress caused was emense. An intellegent person learns from his experience, a wise person learns from the experience of others.
