App wouldn't work... had to call, spend time waiting, and giving credit card details to the person.. decided to hang up.
I cannot access my mobile account either via the website or the App. It asks me to log in then asks me to log in again using my Asda.com login. Then - nothing. I had also wanted to have a PAYG Sim but the website just goes round in circles. The actual mobile phone service is excellent - I just can't access my account.
Everything was a simple step by step set up. I did have a few issues with my sim card, but customer services had sorted things out. Pretty much connected to someone straight away. No waiting on hold. I have now been on Asda mobile for a few weeks now with no issues
Cannot activate SIM
I am not a customer of Asda mobile. Inundated with emails.My wife is and she cannot get an account with Asda mobile.
There were real human beings on the mobile which was not the case of my previous provider. I found that aspect so stupid and devalued their service to the customer.
Couldn't activate the SIM. Refuses to accept the password which I know is correct. When I try to change the password, the promised email never arrives.
I ordered an ASDA Mobile (AM) SIM and it never arrived. I have sent numerous email requesting a refund only to be told that I need to supply some letters from my account. I always reply that I dont have an account as I was told by ASDA Mobiles Customer Service (a joke that lot are) that I could not open an account until I had the SIM, this in spite of AM advertising that I could. I receive exactly the same response from AM every mail that I send. I simply want a refund for the relatively small sum of money. DONT touch them. I see the reply from AM, its lamentable they even got my name incorrect. I have already contacted AM via this link on several occasions with exactly the same outcome which is asking me for some of the letters from my account and as I have already outlined I cant open an account as I don't have the SIM. This is going nowhere. Minus 10 on a scale of 1 to 10
Changed to Asda after previous supplier rates went up. All very straightforward and now my unused data gets rolled over and I will get eu roaming this summer
Never received code to set up the account. Called multiple times and told everytime to try next day.
Sim card arrived within 48hrs and although I had problems to set it up,when I made a call to Asda mobile the agent took care of everything!
I have had an ongoing complaint for over 13 months relating to Wi fi calling. I have lost count of the calls and time I have spent trying to resolve this. A written complaint has not been resolved, there is no complaints process with clear resolution timescales attached to it and the customer service representatives have their hands tied behind their back. All I need is a sim swap as I have a faulty sim. I have recieved a new Sim from them but when I called to swap to my number I was told I wasn't eligible!! I am so frustrated! I am now requesting a PAC. Thank you for you reply Asda but I have already done what you have suggested several times. Your agents are "not allowed" to do Sim swaps. I am not prepared to go around in circles any more. Terrible customer experience!

Spent about an hour trying to register my SIM online with no success. Contacted Asda via e-mail with no resolution. Now with another provider with a website that actually works.

Tried for 5 days to get the code needed to properly activate the sim and it never arrived yet all emails did. Called customer service who were about as useful as a chocolate teapot telling me it may take a, week or two so I asked to return the sim for a, refund then suddenly she conveniently activates the card on the spot! Now ever since we keep getting eaiks and texts saying to activate the s when it's already activated. I also can't get the truth on whether all minutes and WiFi rolls over if I don't buy every month. I made it clear on buying that's what I wanted as it's for a young lad only for emergencies. However the answer hasn't been made clear
The provision of a new SIM only contract was carried out almost seamlessly. The existing number transfer was quick and easy and the change to Asda mobile very nearly 'text book' perfect. Thanks
I've still not taken receipt of my sim card despite ordering it over two weeks ago and talking to customer services on at least two occasions who have assured me it is on its way!
Great customer service, english speaking person (Adam) who was very polite, professional and helpful, couldn’t have wished for better. There was no waiting either, call was answered in about 3 rings. Whats not to like about ASDA mobile? Economical, Vodafone network and brilliant customer service!
