Asda Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator in the United Kingdom operated by Asda which uses the network Vodafone.
Why Asda Mobile? We know that connecting with the people around us makes life a little sweeter, so we've made it easier to stay in touch! With monthly plans starting from £4, whether you're a big texter or make the occasional call, there's something for everyone.
Never miss a moment with 99% UK coverage and 5G in the UK and abroad.
Had purchased new phones and decided we would Asda because they allow WiFi calling as we don't get a signal. I had trouble activating the sim card so I phoned Asda help line, where this brilliant person spoke me through how to do it. I told him I hope they give you a pay rise, he was brilliant.
Despite three different attempts it proved impossible to replace my new number with my old one due to "security questions". Given my mobile spent its time in the car only for emergencies how am I expected to remember when I last topped it up? On my ASDA Mobile profile I was not asked for my address or other details so why am I now expected to have somehow logged them into the system in advance?
I still can't register my account on the asda mobile site. Tried a dozen times. Never receive a verification email or code. Poor service.
Only just started using it and data is finished wouldn’t mind but not used any
Easy switchover. Calls answered quickly
The pay as you go card is value for money, However, unfortunately i'm unable to register the phone number to the account. No authentication code being sent. which is very frustrating [ contacted the team on numerous accasions in the last three weeks regarding this issue and am told that they are updating web site, and should be sorted in 24-48 hours every time ?]. Please sort this as the phone is for my 91 year old farther in-law who is in a care home, and i can only look at this issue when visiting as i need the mobile.
Very good. However some places the signals were not as strong as my previous provider. Overall happy. Value for money 👍🏾
A slight lack of comms during the number porting process, but other than that a good experience.
Excellent value for money for the service. Wife was with O2 & was getting fed up with the costs going up & up. Would suggest though that you wait until you have your PAC Code and details of your existing number if you want to carry it over before you set your account up. Friendly Customer Service will help you set it all up in one go & get you online A.S.A.P
Very helpful; friendly and knowledgeable resulting a satisfactory outcome
I have no account with Asda although I am paying monthly for a sim only. I keep being told t have an account and to log in or re registar. I have done this on numerous occasions and still cannot get an online account? So not a good experience, On line says I do not have an account.
The website was easy to navigate. Having been with my mobile provider for twenty years I wanted to keep my number. Ordering the sim was easy and it was straightforward to choose which plan suited me. I was able to keep my number and my phone was on the network after 24 hours.
Phone answered timely, get to speak to a human straight away, care and support from call handler
Helpful staff
Easier to get help if needed.
Oh my gosh I did already reach out expressed my extreme displeasure and incompetence of Asda mobile, this needs rectifying money refunded to myself I'm complaining to the ombudsman. Not dealing with it after what I explained what trauma I've been and still going through. The fact I was raped last year, then I explained to your colleague I'd been viciously attacked my girl mate. Long of short of due to your staff incompetence I paid out 44 quid in a week n a half. I tried to complain on the customer service number , this is before the 44 quid. I had to add an extra bundle in order to gain access to the Asda data, of which I couldn't access to my email. I was raped last year and it's the most horrendous case as he's done it to 7 people to me beforehand. Ive spoken to too many incompetent people you have absolutely failed me when I live all by myself it's not about the money. I've a report in to the ombudsman.
In the end I had to phone for help setting up my SIM plan. I couldn't do it online. Once set up I kept getting emails telling me to activate my SIM!
Diabolical! Dreadful call center that say the same scripted nonsense and don't achieve anything. Called numerous times simply to link number to app. Told software issue and will be fine in 24hrs. That was numerous calls and three weeks ago. Still not working. Given up on you now.
Asked for free sim, it works, but after almost 2 weeks, still unable to activate it through my account, despite some calls to customer service. Activation code never arrives, and customer service can't help. Texts from elsewhere do arrive.

Feb 08,2025Ordered a sim with asda a few months ago. On my contract it said for my first 6 months it would be half price and would only be £4 a month but asda kept taking the full amount of £8.
