May 20,2024I've used Asda Tyres once before and the experience then was satisfactory. My second order has made me think twice about using them again. Here are the lessons I've learned: - 1) Although I placed my order 3 weeks ago, the tyres had not been delivered to the fitter when I arrived for my fitting appointment 2) Asda Tyres customer service said that the only way they could contact the supplier was by e-mail as they don't have a phone number!! When I called them at 2.15pm, they said they couldn't be sure of establishing what was going on by the end of today! 3) Asda Tyres are not a part of Asda. They are Colewood Automotive Ltd which has a called up share capital of £5 according to its accounts to 31/8/23. They have a contract with Asda which permits them to use the Asda brand name. The situation was rescued from the jaws of disaster by Tracey (mentioned positively in other reviews) who rang me later in the day to say that she had established that the tyres had now been delivered to the fitter and to arrange another appointment. So, my 3 star rating is a 1 star rating for Asda Tyres and a 5 star rating for Tracey

May 20,2024I ordered two new tyres online on Friday 17th May. Paid for both and was offered a fitting date for Saturday 18th May at a local tyre fitters (F1 Autocentre) St Albans at 2pm. Arrived on the Saturday to have the tyres installed but they had not been received. Had to wait until Monday morning to call Asda Tyres to see what had happened. They called me back after some investigating and I was told that the tyres are out of stock and were never available! Asda Tyres were happy to charge me upfront and even book me in for a fitting appointment, even though there were no actual tyres available. The person I spoke to there (Tracey) was lovely and pleasant but as a company, absolutely dreadful with terrible communication between them, the fitters and their customers. I will never use them again, this was the first and the last time. Would not recommend. AWFUL.

May 19,2024The fitter crushed my sill. This will be expensive to repair. Thankfully he admitted liability but Asda want nothing to do with it. They simply ask that I keep them updated.

May 18,2024One of the best prices I could get. Production date of the tyres was quite fresh too (2 of them '23, the other two '24). Ordered late afternoon and they were ready to be fit the next day which was also a pleasant surprise. Just the fitter experience wasn't the best, but that's not ASDA to blame.

May 17,2024I placed an order with ASDA tires and I was offered an 1130 slot the next morning with a local fitter. When I arrived the fitter knew nothing about the order had a totally wasted journey. The fitter managed to find a slot for me later that afternoon. When I contacted Asda customer services, they were totally hopeless. Just be aware that as ASDA tyres are obviously not checking the fitters can accommodate you I would recommend you phone the fitter directly when you get your order confirmation

May 17,2024ASDA Tyres have an easy website to navigate and compare tyres before making an informed decision. Tyre prices are competitive and the ordering process was simple. I selected a local tyre fitter here on the Isle of Wight, Island Tyres -Team Protyre who are exceptional. I had 4 new tyres fitted at an agreed time. Whilst in the waiting room for an hour I witnessed a diverse range of customers of all ages. I was truly impressed by the courtesy extended to all customers and by the depth of knowledge of the staff. Well done.
