Helped me to sort out the transfer of my warranty and also a very helpful lady at the Motorhome and caravan show put me on the right track with my first Motorhome ownership and some issues I was having.
We have sent you the transfer of ownership fee, but your aftercare team can’t seem To find this! I’ve approached you about our issue, but have been told that you only have 24 months warranty on a large number of items fitted in a Bailey caravan. As the first owners never needed/or used the front bed section . The fault was only found by ourselves(second owners) on a 2020 caravan. If Bailey valued their customers then I would expect you to address this! Is this a design fault in this model? Maybe I will have to ask the wider caravan community about this. I definitely feel let down and discarded by Bailey
Very disappointed with the service I received when trying to transfer the warranty on my Unicorn Vigo . I sent all the relevant documents and payment. I did not hear anything from them so then sent an email which was ignored. After 2 months of waiting I called customer services on three different occasions each time I was told someone would call me back but no reply! On fourth attempt finally it was sorted but was told would receive relevant documents this has not happened and is now 2 weeks ago . They were not at all interested in the reason for needing to claim on warranty which I considered was a dangerous fault .
I'd like to thank Elliot in after care for help getting me sorted with my warranty. We bought a demo model which we had to apply the the warranty. It wasn't straight forward but Elliot did his best and all done now. Great service from Bailey's. And all very helpful thank you once again Elliot 😊
Transfer Of Warranty. Excellent help from Elliott And The Aftercarers at Baileys. Transferred warranty to me on my recently purchased Adamo Moho. Very happy with all received. Once again. Thank you Elliott.
Bought a bailey pursuit 2018 12 months ago damaged the front o/s front bumper due to a piece of tarmac hitting it while travelling have tried to buy a new panel from prima leisure to find it's no longer available and try caravan breakers bailey only keep parts available for up to 6 years so I'm now stuck with a damaged caravan due to the fact will get nowhere near what I paid for it on a part ex due to the damage will never touch bailey caravans again should of stuck with swift
Since we bought our caravan in July 2023 we have returned it to the dealer on 3 separate occasions, first time was the seating not returning to form after sitting on it, told this is normal ! Second time was for the decals filling with water and peeling off then we noticed the bathroom ceiling bulging out like a big bubble, Bailey sent someone out to fix it now we have 2 bubbles ! Told it will have to go back to Bristol for repair and we will be without it for 12 weeks minimum but the date to go back is April 2025 just as the touring season starts, we can't do without it for that length of time as we have holidays booked already. Wish we hadn't paid cash for it as it would have gone back by now if it was on finance as it is not worth the money or hassle.
Horrendous build quality. Pay a bit more and get a good make. Not something Fred in a shed built. 73k of crap. Look at the reviews don’t take my word for it. I bought it new. Worse purchase of anything in life. Adamo DL.
Our 4th Bailey, a S5 Unicorn Seville, and the worst (and last!). Many reviews stating the same problems, but none approaching one we had. When the front blinds housing was flapping loose, I looked under the front seat to see if a screw had dropped out, but instead found an open gas pipe around four inches away from the external BBQoutlet pipe - it was obvious that they had never been connected! Thankfully the isolation valve under the oven was off, but I could easily have turned it on, stood outside wondering why the bbq won’t light, whilst my wife was about to light the hob to put the spuds on. Literally a gas/air lethal explosive mixture. So the factory had not tested gas integrity, nor was it done on the dealer PDI. The dealer did sort this immediately, lugging my van on a 250 mile round trip to do so. Bailey said they would investigate, but not heard another thing from them. Although sorted, I’m incensed at being sold a potential death trap. All the other problems pale into insignificance. By the way, you don’t have to put up with the rubbish new style front blinds; they are not fit for purpose. Mine are currently being replaced with proper ones with fly screens under a warranty claim. Some years ago the Pegasus range was downgraded to persuade us to buy Unicorn, and blow me, the Unicorn range is now downgraded to persuade us to buy Unicorn Deluxe. I don’t think so.. UPDATE: with the van still less than a year old, it has extensive damp in the floor. Refund denied by dealer.
For those of you, who have seen my earlier review. I sent an email to Bailey aftercare, this is there reply. No concern about the issues, just passed it back to the retailer. Who has been helpful I must say. Bailey reply.... Dear Mr Witham, I write further to your email dated 9th September 2024. We are sorry to see that you have had cause to raise a complaint in relation to the build quality of your Unicorn Vigo. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused, and to thank you for the time taken in bringing this to our attention. The concerns you have raised have been fed back to our Production facility in line with our internal processes for continuous improvement. In terms of general product quality, we pride ourselves on a proven track record of our caravans and motorhomes in use. That said, we understand that there is always room for improvement, which is why customer feedback is always welcome and duly noted. We are confident that your concerns will be resolved by your selling Retailer, where applicable, under the terms and conditions of your warranty. We ask, if you have not already done so, that you contact your selling Retailer to arrange any necessary remedial work. We do appreciate your disappointment, and again I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
New £40K caravan with no end of issues, now being returned to Bailey which they have quoted 12 weeks for repair, no loan or replacement offered and Bailey want me to completely empty the caravan of non-personal items as well (bed, cushions, curtains ect). Shocking customer service, no responses, no esaclation. Think very carefully before purchasing a Bailey, build quailty is poor backed by absolutley NO understanding of customer service.
Lets start with a positive but I really like my caravan. However the information on the caravans is very scarce. I needed to replace an offside tail light bulb on a pusuit 400 2. I had to get the correct bulb. Do you know there is absolutely no information on which bulb types to use and how to access them. This is useless when you are away and need to change the bulb. Also I phoned my service company and they could not find the info. They told me to take the old bulb out which is no good if no information on how to do this. Can Bailey advise where to find this information. I'm sure there are many people in teh same situation.
I have recentley bought a bailey Unicorn Pamplona, I emailed for a transfer of Warranty form, was sent one back a day a so later, filled in the form and sent back 08/09/2024 with requested paper work and Fee. Informed today 09/09/2024 Transfer had been done, and all is good.
We Bought a new Bailey 440 GT 75 phoenix, the overall the build quality is mediocre - from the nasty Chinese tyres to the poor finishing off of of the sealing etc, which I can only assume was done by someone with poor eyesight or someone who isn’t interested, I am from a high end body repair back ground, so my standards are higher than someone without experience but my advice would be if you want to buy 1980’s build quality when compared to cars Bailey is for you personally once I have taken the hit depreciation wise it will be going back from the dealer is send pictures I will send them into Bailey it like a time warp 🤫Bailey hi I am happy for you to contact me regarding this Caravan, I now have a further problem it tyre that has a defective wall, and Baileys response to the retailer has so far been tell them to contact Baileys tyre supplier what the hell ? this is a safety related issue , I have numerous build quality issues with this caravan and if they are not resolved at first service I assure you I will be taking action against them through the courts so please call me on 07985250772 regards David Rathmell
I bought a two year old Unicorn Cabrera. The service book was missing but I had full documentation of service history. All sorted within a week to getting e mail confirmation of warranty transfer. Now looking forward to receiving the documentation through the post.
First of all, myself and wife want to thank Becky, from Prima, for all the profesional help and service she provided. She made the stress of claiming on the warrenty issues a breeze. We Can't thank her enough.. Secondly - Were new to caravaning and now recently retired. We purchased a used Bailey Pamplona van after looking around for a quite a while. Then after a year we will be trading the van in for a motorhome. Because we're new to caravanning we settled for a used van still in warrenty, a Bailey Pamplona black edition. It has everything we required. We also found the Bailey brand to be of very good quality. We will be upgrading our van for a Bailey motorhome next season, solely because of the aftersales. Unfortunately we did find just a couple of warrenty issues that we wasn't 100% we were covered for. We contacted Prima (Beckie) who have been absolutely fantastic and sorted out all our warrenty issues. She also explaned in detail what we needed to do to carry on the warrenty after the 3 years, regarding the integrity of the van. Because of the service from Bailey, (Beckie) our motorhome will be purchased from Bailey. I have no problem recommending the brand to anyone and have no problem answeing any questions by email if I can. Thanks Bailey.. Thanks Beckie
The 3 set new blinds were eventually fitted in July. The first time it operated it fell off the track. Back to the drawing board. I have now solved the problem by getting rid of the pile of junk from Bailey. Bailey has cost me a lot of money I would suggest that you think very carefully before buying a caravan from them.
I recently bought my third Bailey Unicorn caravan. I sent the required documentation for the transfer of warranty to Bailey last Friday 2/8/2024 and have been informed by Nick from Bailey this morning that the warranty has been transferred successfully. Many thanks for the efficient response.
Never found a company so awful in my life my caravan door flew open on the motorway cut it caused the pile three months. I have been waiting for a response. Still no response. They said the part has not arrived from Madrid and now they have told me not to get in touch. The dealership I have bought the caravan from all themselves totally disgusted with Baileys. after Kay is absolutely zero. If I could attach paperwork, I could show you their response.

Nov 14,2024Further to my previous review, I resent the email as my one asking to make a formal complaint obviously wasn't of importance. This time the subject was FAO Aftercare manager as you stated because obviously this would get the attention it needed rather than asking to complaint.... I am still without a reply and my initial email was 25th September!!!!! Absolutely appalling replies are given on here yet no replies answering emails. Would you mind looking in your inbox and checking emails in the name of McGhee and arranging someone to reply or does this need to go through a legal channel to get a response? Will never be purchasing a Bailey caravan again and looks like a lot feel the same based on experience reveived
