Miscommunication: A few days prior to the move, I received a text message indicating that my belongings were being transported to Georgia instead of California, which required immediate correction on my part. Punctuality: On the day of the move, I waited for their team to arrive at 8:00 AM as scheduled. After 15 minutes of no-show, I had to make the initial contact. The movers arrived two hours late, and no one proactively informed me about this delay. Misquoted Estimate: When I initially inquired about the expected duration of the move, I was advised that it would take approximately 3 hours with 2 movers. In reality, the move took 8.5 hours, resulting in a significantly higher cost (3x) than what was initially quoted. Unresolved Damage Claim: The movers sent me a text message notifying me of damage to my lamp during the move and stated that your company would reach out regarding the claim. It took several weeks to resolve THEFT: $13,000 worth of jewelry, watches and electronics never made it into my storage which I did not realize until I moved out 5 weeks later. It took the company over a week to even get me the names of the company they sub contracted to and the names of the movers who handled my move (the reviews online are not for bellhop as they subcontract out their work to other companies who are not vetted as they would not even supply me with a COI or give insight into their vetting and background check process). I have filed a report with the police and a claim with my insurance company as bellhop is taking no responsibility for this matter. They embed a "valuable list" deep in their documentation and never ask you to fill it out and if you don't they say they are not liable for any items that go missing. It is has been extremely painful to lose valuable items passed down through generations in my family and not to have anyone held accountable. DO NOT USE THEM!
Everything was smooth, professional and on time. The crew, Vidal, Kendrick, Cameron, and one crew were amazing. Fast, careful with my belongings and respectful of the property were highlights of their service. Thanks to everyone at Bellhop for making the entire experience excellent.

Our move could not have gone better. We are a couple in our early 80’s and getting ready for this move was hard on us, both emotionally and physically. The Bellhop Moving crew could not have been any more perfect for us. They were so helpful, kind and patient. Our crew leader was Michael and he was very compassionate. Both he and Fletcher worked straight for over 5 hours without a break and made sure we were set up with our furniture and our bed was placed exactly where we needed it. They made sure the new house was without tripping hazards and secure before they left. We hope to not move again, but if we do we will definitely use Bellhop.

Bell hops process for missing boxes is horrible. If items are left on the truck you will NOT get your valuables back!!! There have been multiple attempts to contact the company and the only response received is that “they can’t get in touch with the movers.” The company was contacted within 24 hours after my move. Now my personal values and babys items are forever gone due to a lack of responsibility. Raleigh location needs a real process to actually retrieve items instead of the messy process they have in place. This is a great example of the company not caring about customers once they receive your money!
I find their billing practices unfortunate. They charge you 10% for cancellation weeks prior to event. Do not waste your time & money.

The team was very professional and nice. They vocalized they had done large job for 10 hours the day before. If they had not told me, I never would have guessed. They moved swiftly and helped make everything very easy.

The Men who moved us were AMAZING!! Due to delays caused by title company, our guys had to sit for 3 hrs (for a 5 hrs resevation). When we finally got the keys to the house and arrived, the men were aware of our situation, and that we only now had 2 hours to unload. THEY GOT IT DONE! They got everything into the house, where it was supposed to go, handled with care, and were so professional , kind, and courteous. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The movers were careful, efficient and quick. They even boxed up some things for us. They helped set up our bed and even went and got stuff we packed in our car. They were great! 🤩

Workers had wrong address so they we late, but I got charged for the full time. Time shouldn’t start until they show. Update Bellhop gave me a refund for the half hour that the workers were late. So I changed review from 4 to 5 stars.
The crews is very polite, work very hard to help us move from my old to new place. They took care all our items in an expertly manner.
