Jan 07,2022I love the all digital experience. It was very convenient and the rate I got was competitive. The only issue I had was having to resign due to an error on my closing documents but other than that I would use this service again and recommend it to friends and family.

Jan 07,2022I am happy with my experienced refinancing my mortgage through Better. The online platforn is really very easy to navigate and it tells you exactly what specific tasks you need to do in order to have progress with the refinancing. Better was able to give me a decent interest rate and my trusted advisor was always there whenever I have questions. She was also able to adjust the closing date I preferred since the original closing date was not available to us. Overall, the process was very smooth and timely as long as you provide the necessary documents.

Jan 07,2022It was super easy to refinance my mortgage. The online portal was incredibly intuitive and easy to use, way easier than actually getting the mortgage itself. I also have to mention my loan advisor Emma Schultz, she is AWESOME! I probably ask a lot more questions than I need to, and at every step of the way she was more than gracious to answer them, and on top of that, her knowledge and expertise went a long way to mitigate any issues in the process.

Jan 06,2022Although I felt hounded for a few days by all the lenders I was considering, once I chose my Lender, I received excellent service with quick responses and a fair rate. I was kept up to date and reminded of my tasks so that I kept on track through closing.

Jan 06,2022I loved the entire process. It was easier to pick a rate with Better than any other lender, because with every other lender, including local and online, they would receive my application and then call me with a bunch of numbers. This kills the visual person. It was great to upload every document and see a tasks marked as completed. We had a pretty easy scenario so only had a few questions which a rep responded by email within a day. Honestly, money talks and though the process was easier, Better Mortgage offered the most competitive closing costs.

Jan 06,2022Unethical scam company, NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY. I am a licensed realtor with a client under contract. It is against realtor ethics to solicit another client under contract. THESE THEIVES: Told my client if he broke his contract with me and used their in house real estate agent they would not charge any loan fees. I REFERRED MY CLIENT TO THIS COMPANY FOR A LOAN! THEY LITERALLY STOLE MY CLIENT. ANY ONE WHO DOES THIS WILL STEAL FROM YOU TOO

Jan 04,2022I’m rating this a two for the following reasons and none of them had to do with our agent Brian Moran, he was a 5 star for sure!!! When we started the process everything was going smoothly at the initial call advising we were pre approved, we started out with a contact Oscar, he was less than efficient. After the shake up with Better, we no longer had Oscar, we now had Jose Escobar. While Jose did his best, it was the weeks of Christmas and New Years so no one was working, lots of vacations, including Jose. There were things that Jose should have done prior to closing, that did not happen. The morning of closing 12/30, I received an automated reply stating that Better gave employees time off to recharge and he would be back after the 1st if the New Year. A very scary email to get when you’re needing someone to help with closing. During the closing the title company could not reach anyone at Better. We gad a 10:00 am closing, the funds were not funded. Panic is putting it lightly. To find out that Jose did not send final tasks to be approved for the wire. We got connected to AB Schrimscher, she was AMAZING!!!! She took care of everything immediately. The funds finally wired at 2;00 pm, we stayed at the title company until funds were transferred to get our key to our new home. The concept of Better is great, your one stop shop. However, the staffing seems to need a little work. Again, Brian Moran and AB Schrimscher were definitely both top notch, 5 star employees.

Jan 04,2022Rates were phenomenal compared to competition, task system online made it easier to know what I had to provide at any given time, and it was easy to get in touch with employee contacts at Better. Had several issues during the process as a result of my job and the property, but was informed quickly when anything came up and was able to solve it together.
