Dec 02,2022Best price for spec; bike shipped and arrived quickly; bike was well packed. No weirdness dealing with Bikesonline. The bike: two small complaints, 1) dropper post wiggles (slightly side to side); 2) Tektro semi-metallic pads are the wrong spec for the Shimano rotors, which are resin only. The rest is fantastic! I love my new whip. I ordered the 27.5 T8 in a size M in charcoal and I won't be looking for any upgrades. The drivetrain is flawless, the brakes (when resin pads are used) are powerful, and the Fox front and rear suspension are perfect. I'm a big fan of the wheels, too. The Schwalbe tires on wide rims make for a huge contact patch with the earth. Tubeless conversion was a non-issue since the rims are tapped, along with tubeless-ready tires. Yes, I will likely buy another from them in the future. But I trust my new trail beast will last for a long time. Tim D

Dec 02,2022I purchased the Strattos S8 Disc last month and I have put 500 miles on it, no issues. The bike came packed very well, it was also pretty easy to put together. I was so surprised to see a torque wrench and a standard spanner included in the assembly kit for tightening the seat post etc within limits. The design and the paint job was slick, loved small details like the cable housing clips to keep the cables together. The bike frame is di2 ready noticed the small hole with a cap near the front derailleur , the website never mentions it though :) so far I am happy with my purchase and have been asked about the bike by many of my club buddies.

Dec 02,2022Pros: Good product/value, arrived within a week, nicely packaged, frequent updates from Bikes Online throughout process. Cons: non-Shimano chain supplied with the bike made the drivetrain run really rough (notchy/crunchy/sounded like it wasn't indexed despite it being totally aligned). After Googling I found several forums where other customers had also had this problem and saying that replacing the chain with a genuine Shimano 12 speed chain would fix it. I fitted a Shimano chain and now it runs like a dream. Seems like an odd place for Polygon to cheap-out on when speccing this bike....

Dec 01,2022Customer care gets 1 star. I purchased 2 bikes from this website. I purchased the bike 7 days ago. The price of the bike went down for Black Friday. I e-mailed the company about the price difference and got NO RESPONSE. I called the company and they told me that the Black Friday sale is a "one-offs" sale and that they will not reimburse the difference. I will have to return the bike and buy the same bike AGAIN to get the new sale price. Their website link on returns and exchanges states: "We get it, we all love to find deals and save money that's why we have a Post Sale Guarantee! If an item goes on sale within 14 days from the day you purchased, let us know and we’ll issue the difference as Bikes Online store credit, no questions asked." Not to mention, the bike has a bent disc brake, loose bottom bracket, and non-functional seat raiser. Stay away from this company. I am an avid cyclist and this is a horrible customer care experience and product is sent with need of repair to be useable.

Nov 21,2022Bike came with faulty brakes that BikesOnline refused to reimburse me for. This is a serious safety issue that could have gotten me killed, but they really don't seem to mind. DO NOT BUY FROM BIKESONLINE. SAVE THE EXTRA BIT OF MONEY TO BUY FROM YOUR LOCAL DEALER.

Nov 09,2022Save your money and go to a bike shop. Bike was poorly assembled with a cable routed near the sprocket and the dropper post cable damaged (they told me to take it to a bike shop, seriously?). I'll just order one on Amazon and fix it myself. Also no copy of a warranty or owners manual, just a generic instruction book that did not cover the dropper post or unique front axle. Lastly their customer service line usually goes to voicemail. Great bike (Marin) but lousy assembly and lousy service.

The person at bikesonline that I enquired with basically says it’s my problem and I need to follow up with the couriers where the package is. The absolute poorest service I have ever received and that after spending a ton of cash with them…….

Oct 18,2022I see a lot of bad reviews down there, I dont know what you guys are doing wrong and Im very sorry. I bought a Polygon bike from Bikes Online, it had a small issue with front derailleur making a bit of sound, I really cant spend time to take bike to shop for my first experience, I did ride the bike for 10-20 minutes just as a test drive. Bikes Online was kind enough to refund all of the money for the bike. I called a local shop to buy a bike and asked about refund, they told me the moment I walk out the door, its mine. No returning at all. Need to be patient with BikesOnline, we had a pandemic, short on staff, but overall my experience was really great even though I ended up returning the bike. 100% will buy from BikesOnline again. This time a more simple bike like 10, 11 or 12 speed and more expensive. Also packaging of bike came super well. Everything was firm, nothing was touching bike frame or metal to metal. Super professional. you can count on BikesOnline to package your bike right! Thank you Kia R. 🙏
