The customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. They sent me the wrong item, and I had to wait a long time to get any response. They barely replied to my emails and promised a partial refund for sending the wrong color. So they did. However, one of the items never arrived, and I’m still waiting for them to respond to my email regarding a return and full refund. I would never recommend this website for shopping.
They estimated a ship date of 12/8, then moved it to 12/15 and then again to 12/29. Each time I had to call and email multiple times to get an update.
I bought a bike from Bikes Online and it was the best thing I could do. I recommend everyone to do it because it is reliable and that is why I give it 5 stars.
Nice bike once I got all the kinks worked out. My local bike shop had to make adjustments to all the gear cables and brakes. Added a fork stem extension and better saddle. The stock setup has the handle bars way too close to my knees.
Good experience. FedEx completely trashed my box. Check to make sure parts have not fallen out of box. Pedals are little on the cheap side and grips. Will likely upgrade. Great bike though and awesome value!
First time as Bikeonline customer and I'm very satisfied with the process from the beginning until I purchased my bike. Customer service are excellent and everyone are very helpful and courteous. I will highly recommend bikesonline!
My 3rd purchase with bikesonline. Haven't been disappointed yet. Shipping is fast, all bikes have been received within one week. Always packaged great with tools & instructions. No damage to any bikes in shipping. And bikes perform great. I love getting bikes from this site. Everyone around my area rides the same brands, so i always have one of the only bikes that looks distinct & nobody else has which I love. & the spec for the price is always great. I keep telling people they don't need a big name, known brand overpriced bike. These bikes are awesome & I'm surprised at the prices with the spec, looks & quality they provide. Will probably be getting a gravel bike from here soon! Cheers
I’ve bought 3 of the Polygons now, Siskui D6 and T7 and they absolutely crush it. I’m 6’3 all legs and I’m on the XL. First bike that ever fit perfectly.
Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast and I love my bike!
The bike was shipped very quickly, and arrived when it was promised. It was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. It was mostly assembled, and it was straightforward to unbox and finish assembly. All I had to do was insert a wheel, and attach the handlebars, seatpost, and the lever for the dropper seatpost. All the adjustments were perfect right out of the box; I didn't have to tweak anything (brakes, shifter, etc). I am very picky about these things, but everything was fine.
They are extremely helpful and have outstanding customer service. I will purchase another bike from them.
First of all thanks to Juan who guided me through and answered all my questions with patience. This is my 3rd bike from BikesOnline and I’m happy with all my purchases, especially with the last one Polygon Strattos S8X, this is the bike I needed all this time, it flies like a rocket, easy in everything (handling, gear changing, transporting, racing etc.). BikesOnline is my bike seller shop choice number 1. Well recommended.
Ordered a new bike, received it and appeared to be used. I scheduled a call to speak with customer service and they just sent an email. Lesson learned, very disappointed with experience.
I wanted more information about the dimensions of a bike than what their website provided. I asked for 2 simple dimensions ( min. and max. distances from ground to top tube ), but all they gave me was an average - and I don't think they were correct anyway. Plus, I wanted to contact someone who had already bought the bike in question for his opinion and additional information, but they would not give my contact information to him or vice-versa. Bottom line: a pathetic company who doesn't really care to satisfy the customer as long as they make a sale on ANY given bike.
Ordered a full suspension bike from bikes online. The order was delivered within 5days. Rear break rotor was bent right out of the box. Feelings of regret and disappointment came rushing over me, especially after trying to report the issue with their “customer service” - Bot. Could not true the rotor myself so I had to take it to a local bike shop. All of the bike shops in my area are booked out for several days if not week(s). :/ Now, I think going with a local dealer for purchase would have been a much better option. Had to schedule a phone call appointment with Bikesonline representative to see what they can do to help. If they do not want to help repair or replace the damaged part, I can try and return the bike. Spend the extra money, buy bikes from LBS, cause you might end up taking it there if you find yourself in a similar pair of shoes. I will return and post about the conversation with bikesonline sales rep to update how eager they were to assist correcting the situation.
return process is convoluted and frustrating. attempting to initiate a return leads customers into a maze of virtual bots and dead-end phone numbers. This unethical practice appears designed to deter returns and save the company money.
Rocky at first since the bike came in an open box with the tools all missing and some accessories. I also ordered some additional gear and accessories and they never shipped the shock pump so I had to go back and ask for them to ship it so it took a couple of weeks, which was unnecessary. As far as the bike is concerned it’s a freaking beast. It’s an amazing bike. Outside of the shipping issue and the delay everything else is fine. I would highly recommend the bike. It’s really amazing.
You'll see reviews about bikesonline that conflict with each other, so it's hard to get a feel for whether they're worth the risk. Here's my take. The product: Polygon Tambora G4 Gravel Bike The Good: Simple order process and fantastic speedy shipment and delivery. Excellent packing. It was meticulously packaged and was ready to go out of the box - minus the pedals. The quality of the Polygon bike is awesome. It's heavy, but in terms of fit and finish it's top notch. Unless you look at the brand of components, you'd swear it was a $2k bike. The paintjob alone is stunning. The welds at the BB and frame points look good and I can't find any flaws in the build. The bike is also innovative in that you can convert the wheelbase from gravel to road and change out tires to suit. The Bad: Most of the pictures showed the bike came with pedals so I assumed it did. A lot of higher end bikes, including race bikes don't include pedals, so I'm used to that. But the G4 isn't a high end bike. It's a budget gravel bike. Now pedals aren't a big deal in the grand scheme of things because they're inexpensive. But try riding a bike without them and you'll look like Fred Flintstone trying to walk your bike around. If I had known pedals weren't included I would have ordered them with the bike. Before I decided to grab a set of pedals from Amazon, I decided to make a call to bikesonline. That's where the frustration started. A call to their customer service line gets you an AI computer voice that takes you name, order #, email and phone #. That took 5 minutes because the AI voice kept messing up. I then went to the email ack of the order I had saved and replied to that, indicating that no pedals were included. I got a prompt reply from Bob that depending on the model, pedals aren't included. I replied back that the ad should have stated that given most of the pictures of the bike on the site showed the bike with pedals. I attached pics from their site for his review. I never got a reply, and I'm not going to call again to get another AI computer that will take my information and ignore me. Overall, my impression is that their service is non-existent, which is a shame because the Polygon brand is a good bike. One final thing. I posted a review of my experience on their site, and it was never posted. That explains why there are zero reviews for the bike. Their site also claims that they have the "highest rated bikes online" with "25000+ google reviews". If anybody can find such reviews, they're more of a google data miner than I am. My advice to Polygon is to find another distributor. Their brand is worth more than bikesonline. Your experiences may vary. I've seen other people say that they wish they had purchased from their LBS, but my local shop has about the same level of service as bikesonline. Maybe this is the new normal.
Good value and customer service. Bike arrived as listed on my shipping confirmation. Only issue was a shifting problem, received a quick response, that was resolved at my lbs and was reimbursed by Bikes Online. Would be 4.5 stars if that was an option.
