Feb 18,2025Blue Car Rental is the best rental place we’ve ever used! We had originally planned on a smaller 4WD SUV for 4 adults and it quickly proved that we needed a bigger vehicle to accommodate the luggage. They immediately upgraded us without any questions!

Feb 18,2025I have used Blue Car Rental every time I have visited Iceland. I saw that Kyanasue recommended and mentioned that it was a local Icelandic company. I love that studded snow tires are mandatory in the winter, it makes me feel safe and cared for. Check in and check out is super easy and quick.

Feb 18,2025There was great clarity, options, and pricing variability in the booking, the staff was very friendly, and the check in and check out experience worked well! You might consider putting dashes under the "6" on the key chains so we aren't wandering around in a snow storm trying to find row 9 (lol!). In winter, I'd recommend putting the ice scraper on the dash as a simple check in courtesy (we had trouble locating it in the driver's door at first since it was super windy and the cars were parked as close together as they could be). Thank you! We look forward to next time!!

Feb 18,2025We got an even better car than what we rented. We were really pleased with it. The pick up was very easy and went smoothly. The discount on fuel came in handy, we were happy with it. This car gave us some good memories, took us to beautiful places. It was the perfect, reliable companion for us the whole week.

Feb 18,2025Very Quick and friendly. Zero contact key pick up meant i was in and out of the office in 2 minutes and driving away. On return, dropping the keys off was easy. Spoke to a very friendly member of staff and there was nothing more. Again, was out in 2 minutes. Great company, purchased a very reasonably priced liability waiver so was a lovely holiday not having to worry about what the weather in Iceland could throw at the car!

Feb 18,2025Staff was friendly and helpful, both at the KEF office and the Reykjavik city office. They accommodated my preferred return time, the car we got was in great condition, and the peace of mind from having the zero deductible insurance was excellent. The price was also reasonable and I liked renting from a local company vs. International ones. I will definitely rent from Blue again!
