Feb 19,2025Super easy pickup at night, enter the code, get the key and you are off. Got a clean and modern car with nice features like full lane assistant and distance keeping. Even though it was only October, the car already had spiked tires, probably due to early frost a week earlier, something i was worried about. Sadly one of the spikes buried itself into the tire and 2 front wheels lost pressure, so we had to drive to a mechanic and get a swap within 30mins, pretty fast and paid for by the rental company. All in all great, will take BlueCarRental again.

Feb 19,2025We have rented from Blue Car Rental a total of 13 times at this point and have always had a stellar experience! We would never even think of renting from any other company. Their service is fantastic from the first email exchange until we drop the car back off to them. The cars have always been top notch - very clean, low mileage, newer models. We also love that the quote you get from them on their website includes everything: unlimited mileage, taxes and all of those pesky insurances like CDW, TP, GP etc. There is even a stress free "zero liability" option for a truly care free driving experience. Collecting the car from them moves along very quickly and you're driving out of the lot before you know it. They have an office quite close to the airport, as well as one located in Reykjavik. Drop off is always quick and easy as well. We are very impressed with Blue Car Rental and wish they had offices here in the states!

Feb 19,2025Got a free upgrade from a Toyota aygo to a Kia Rio, car was nearly brand new, and had no issues with getting the car and returning the car. Had an Issue with parking in Iceland which was refunded by both the parking and blue car rental waived the processing fee, which was great

Feb 19,2025Picking up a car after a red eye flight couldn’t have been easier. The pick up and check in process was incredibly streamlined and stress free. The RAV4 we rented was loaded with amenities that made driving in winter conditions easy and comfortable and the return process was free of any hidden fees or complicated check in processes. I highly recommend using blue car rental in Iceland and will certainly use them again for our next visit

Most importantly, Blue Car Rental already considered slippery road condition in Iceland and rented me the car equipped with winter tire with metal stud which was super helpful when I was driving on mountain road. Highly recommend Blue Car Rental!!

Feb 19,2025It was one of the nicest and quickest car’s picks up and drops off. They were very helpful throughout e-mail and they were responding quickly. Bonus is, that you do not need to bring clean car back - it saves you a lot of trouble and time, because cars get dirty.

We collected our car from their Reykjavik office which was easy walking distance and easy to find. They are responsive to queries both before, during and after your trip.

Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and friendly - especially when we thought we had left a pair of sunglasses behind in the vehicle. The signage in the vehicle that provided information about speed limits and road types was especially useful. The vehicle was well equipped for the weather and we felt comfortable driving with the snow/wind/ice. We highly recommend using Blue Car Rental and if we ever return to Iceland we will definitely go with them again!

Feb 19,2025First time renting in Europe but the process and people from Blue made things easy as cutting butter. Had a seamless process of pick up and drop off. Car was absolutely in great conditions and we drove all around Iceland in 10 days without any problem as they included an Internet Hotspot which made us save money on airtime.

As a local company they understand the road conditions and we felt very safe in the car provided. Easy check in and drop off and very friendly staff.
