This is a very nice house, well heated and a log burner It has a well-equipped kitchen (but bring your own oil, spices, etc.) and the host came over to explain the heating (which worked perfectly). Highly recommended!
We stayed In bourton on the water at the south winds house for my mums 60th birthday. It was a wonderful house with everything you could ask for and a stunning kitchen for entertaining. Would highly recommend and only a short walk into the town where you can find lots of shops and restaurants. Very easy to contact and a lot of amenities provided within the house. Was too cold to use the garden but also great facilities for bbq/ hosting a garden party Mum loved it, thanks for a great 3 nights! We will be back
A large, comfortable fully stocked house.. beautiful location with excellent communication with Bolthole from start to finish.
Lovely property, cosy and warm. Great little welcome ‘pack’ with coffee, tea, hot choc, biscuits and milk and enough logs to have a fire 😊 Loved Winchcome, great pubs …the white hart was fab. Great walks from the property. Clean and up together property.
We had a two night stay here in November and it was just delightful. It’s a lovely, very spacious cottage with everything you could need. Sue, the owner, welcomed us warmly and left us some lovely first night gifts of bread, butter, wine, milk etc. The village of Charlbury is also lovely, with some great local walks and beautiful surrounding countryside. Could not recommend it more highly.
We stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding nearby. Great accommodation. All arrival arrangements worked well. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Warm and plenty of bedding and blankets plus logs for the fire. A few minor maintenance issues which I have messaged direct. Thanks!
A fantastic stay at the Lower Lodge Barn for a family meet-up. The house was in a beautiful location, quiet, stunning scenery but with easy access to Alcester/ even Stratford Upon Avon for day trips. The house was so well stocked and had all the equipment you could need, including built in stair gates which took away lots of worries about children. The hot tub was great fun and looked out over open countryside. The house manager was helpful and communicative. Would 100% recommend and re-visit when we come back to the area.
We stayed at Ridgeway Farmhouse in the Cotswolds Cleanest place I have ever stayed Lush beds Fabulous views Well equipped
Beautiful place to stay, would definitely stay again, the only little downside was no tv in bedroom…. The barn was spacious, modern and super clean, looking forward to booking again, thank you
We stayed at The Stables in Batheaston and had a great weekend. The house was cosy and we loved the log burner. Everything was clean and fresh and the kitchen was well stocked. Thanks for a carefree weekend!
We had a fantastic stay at Teagles Cottage in Stow-on-the-wold. The house is beautiful, cosy and equipped with all things we want, esp full-functioned kitchen. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs and extra 1 toilet downstair which are plenty for us 4 ppl. Lindsay was such a nice, informative and friendly host, warm welcoming us with cake, snacks and wine! The cottage is centrally located in Stow, only 160 meters away and you reach the market square. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately our stay recently in a holiday home in Warwickshire could have been drastically improved through better communication with the hosts and would have made the stay a lot more pleasant. There was a lack of communication for our stay where it wasn't explained to us that there had been an issue with a wasps nest next to the property before arriving, which meant that there were several wasps entering the property throughout our stay which happened to be in a room a baby was staying in! There was an offer to move into a different holiday home for the few guests affected but it would have meant separating our party which was not an ideal resolution to the situation at all. As well as an issue with nature entering a home that a baby was staying in we had difficulties with the underfloor heating not working which meant the property was freezing cold. It was attempted to be rectified by leaving extra logs to use on the wood burner but these weren't required when the living room went from freezing cold to boiling hot! It had the potential to be a great stay in a great location but the biggest let down was the lack of communication from the hosts in regards to the issues. It was attempted to message the hosts to discuss these issues after the stay but all messages were ignored which is a big shame as they are new hosts so bad communication is not sustainable in a business like this.
We stayed in Stow House-superb location in the centre of Stow on the Wold. Very comfortable and easily accommodated 9 people-everything you could possibly ask for in the kitchen. Just a couple of niggles- took quite a while to understand how the hob worked! The magnetic "knob" was upside down when we arrived which wasn't obvious for ages! Couldn't find the exact hob instructions online and the physical manual was useless. Would be helpful to have some clear written instructions for this. Upstairs, there was a lack of mirrors. Could quite easily have a full mirror in each bedroom as so much empty wall space. However, apart from these niggles the property was superb. Great for a family get together.
Little Coach House - a fantastic well appointed holiday house close to Oxford. The house is beautifully done throughout with comfort throughout.
We stayed in Maple House and overall it was fantastic. Really comfortable, spacious, clean. We loved the hot tub. A few little niggles. The cafetiere was damaged, which made the morning coffee experience rather poor. The dishwasher needed the filters cleaning as things came out rather unclean. I would have liked some egg cups and good sharp knives. Little things, but would aid the overall experience.
We stayed at Woodside Cottage in Mickleton for a weekend as a group of 8 and 1 dog. Honestly it was perfect, we especially loved the large kitchen which allowed us to cook comfortably as a group, and the beautiful lounge with fireplace where we could play games and sit by the fire. Comfort wise 3 of the rooms are a generous size, and the snug room is cozy but comfortable. There are some lovely walks that can be done from the property, or the entire Cotswold's are on your doorstep. The local pubs are charming and the food was good. If it had been nice weather we would have loved to sit in the garden and have a bbq. It's fitted out with pretty much everything you would need for a weekend away, although we could not find any tongs, and with 8 people a few more toilet rolls would have been handy. We hope to return in the future for another weekend, thank you for having us!
Beautiful cottage which ticked all the boxes for a family getaway to the Cotswolds. Great layout and character made our stay a home from home
Stayed at the gatehouse at Sudeley Castle for 3 nights. Lovely accommodation , very comfortable & clean. Great location!
Host was so warming and lovely. Accommodation was so comfortable, clean and the location was perfect. Everything we wanted in a relaxing break and more. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in The Cotswolds.

Nov 24,2022Perfect house for a group of friends to celebrate my wife's 'significant' birthday ! A stunning mix of traditional and modern. Rooms were all clean and comfortable, each with their own modern bath/shower room. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen/diner was perfect for us all to eat, relax and to admire the wonderful view across the Cotswold countryside, while the snug with it's log burner perfect for a cosy night in. Samii (the housekeeper) was easily contactable and very helpful in sorting out some initial difficulties. And Winchcombe was the ideal location - perfect for walks (around town and further afield), coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. In fact, we enjoyed our visit so much that we've already booked again for next year !
