as always , care club came to the rescue , although the engineer could not solve the problem this time , but he put us on the right track to resolving it , which we did and we also let the service department know that it was resolved , so hey hoe job done ,thank you for the immediate action
Prompt appointment on request, polite and informative staff. Boiler check was undertaken as scheduled, all queries were answered to my satisfaction. First rate service all round!
Initial appointment made for 14/03/25 engineer did not arrive. I had to phone to find out what was happening - engineer ill was response. Good job it wasn't an emergency. Re scheduled for 19/03/25 - Jaz arrived on time and sorted the problem and did the boiler service at the same time.
Honestly, I'm very disappointed. I pay monthly for the cover, but then they say they can't fix the pipe. Because of the bathtub. They call it 'obstruction removal,' but it's just a regular bathtub! Like, every house has one. I think they simply don't want to do the work. They claim it's in the terms and conditions, but they're very vague. They just made up an excuse. I think they didn't want to move the bathtub, so they called it an obstruction. By the way, if you need to replace a shower mixer, forget it. That's not included in their plan's terms and conditions either. And they asked me to buy one from them for around £500. You really have to read the terms and conditions carefully before paying them. Just get a local neighborhood plumber instead.

This was the second 'follow up' after central heating problems. To be honest, I thought it might be forgotten? But it wasn't. For that I am very grateful. So often these days one has to 'chase' people to fulfil their obligations. Well done Care Club & Steve Yeaman!

Would not recommend this shoddy outfit to anyone. Why? Joined Care Club January after an engineer serviced our boiler. In both January and February we were debited double. Rang the putative Customer Service and were informed we had two boilers! After several more calls, some with a waiting time 30 to 40 minutes despite we were consistently told we were currently number one we are told the double repayment would be credited to our bank account. One was and again after many calls it was said by Care Club that this payment would be credited Monday 10 March, then Tuesday, then “ Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow”. This company has proven to be rebarbative, inefficient, and to date has stolen our money.y
Very friendly but still professional.
I have been a member for years and won’t be renewing. I’ve had a problem that has been going on for almost 3 weeks. They kept cancelling (over a 3 day period) eventually sent someone who was in my bathroom 5 mins. Did not fix the problem. So I contacted them again yesterday and I was suppose to get someone today (Thursday) between 8am and 12pm. Just had a call at 7am to say it will be Saturday. I won’t be surprised if that doesn’t happen after the service I have had. Sent a complaint email to reach@careclub 2 weeks ago and they have not even replied. Awful service.
The engineer was friendly, respectful, courteous and efficient. My boiler is now functioning like it should.
Bear in mind that I am 80 years old:- My boiler stopped working in the freezing cold weather and I was without heating. Care Club sent someone who said I needed new pump and left. Two weeks later I phoned to see where said pump was and was informed that there had been a misunderstanding and it hadn't been ordered yet. Several days later man arrived with pump and fitted it but said heating still not working and left. Now I was also without hot water. Consequently I had to pay another plumber to come and help me. He found that the pump valve had not been turned on! After checking everything and sorting out a couple of problems my heating and hot water are now working perfectly thanks to different company. (extra expense I did not expect to have) I told Care Club I was no longer paying them as their Contract was not fit for purpose but have since had a threatening letter to keep paying..in their words "we may pass. your personal information to credit reference agencies and they may keep a record of any search that they do". Incompetent workman and no apology for this very bad experience Forgot to add they threaten court action too for the sum of £41 if not paid in 7 days. Am now awaiting further interaction as this has made them reply which the have not done to my email!
My elderly mother has recently received a very threatening letter (sent to a former address, so only just forwarded to her) with a 'final reminder', purportedly for her Care Club Agreement (terms unstipulated in the letter). She has never signed up for any agreement and has absolutely no idea to what the letter refers. The letter threatens court action, and could be very distressing for anyone, let alone a vulnerable older adult. Strangely, the letter demands a secure payment to bring the agreement up to date, and includes both a reference number and a (supposedly) secure PIN. Beware, beware...
Very efficient and friendly service
They arranged everything quickly and efficiently. Someone turned up the next day to replace the shower, without any mess. Care club really listened to what we wanted and didn't push anything on to us. I would highly recommend them to anyone
I was delighted, fast and efficient service over the phone, and by the two engineers who came to sort my plumbing problem. All done in a day.
