Jan 09,2024Rare to find dealers who aren’t pushy and are honest, carlingo seem to be strong in these areas Have me a price over the phone for my part ex and paid that price after seeing the car (most dealers will decrease their offer when you show up!) Easy and straight forward to deal with - would recommend

They offered me a great price on my car to trade in and a great price for the car I purchased. They gave me all the information I needed and talked me though it. I would definitely recommend them. No jargon or up selling.

Jan 06,2024The dealership has a great selection of cars. All presented to a very high standard. The sales team are very polite accommodating and no pushy sales tactics. The showroom is absolutely meticulous. Based on this I would offer a 4 to 5 stars review. The price of the cars are a touch on the high side. But it reflects in the standard of the vehicles. Another plus side to carlingo. There is no admin fees charged for the sale of the vehicle, unlike other dealerships we have visited. One important note to the management. When people are spending their hard earned money in buying vehicles from you a gesture other than 10 litres or £15 worth of fuel can go a long way. A tiny loss in profit, possibly by offering £50-£100 off the sale price, a tank of fuel or even car mats would go a long way in creating a better relationship with your buyers. After all it is these individuals who are ultimately keeping the dealership open for business. By offering these little gestures the turnover would be far greater, ultimately leading to more sales and more profit. For this part of the service I would only offer a 3 to 4 star for a review. Overall a 4 star for the dealership.

Jan 03,2024This is what buying a car should be like! Very clean & welcoming dealership full of friendly helpful people & an excellent stock of cars. There was none of the usual pressure tactics and fabrications associated with used car dealerships - which was a very welcome change. Adam Milner was excellent from the start, so good was his engagement that I decided to travel to Harrogate from Kent just before Christmas to view a car based largely on the trust I had that Adam was being honest and open with me to ensure my journey was not wasted - and it certainly wasn't, the car was exactly as described and in excellent condition. The Part Exchange process was smooth and efficient with a great price for my existing car which was higher than all previous quotes I had received (which were well under what I would have expected - again another nod to the honesty and integrity of this dealership) One final thing I thought was brilliant was that the Carlingo team took it on themselves to go to the post office on my behalf to change over the tax from a mobility vehicle - I know people who have purchased ex mobility cars who have been left to deal with this change themselves, this was a nice customer services touch that we appreciated. Will visit again - or better still, if a branch opens up down south that would be ideal!

Jan 02,2024I rang and enquired re a car they had in stock, booked in for a test drive, agreed the time & Date. Met Max, it was a very relaxed atmosphere, offered me a coffee whilst paperwork was checked for the test drive. Once driven the car, I said I wished to purchase it (part cash/part finance) the deal was done in less than an hour including agreed collection date/time. There were no pushy sales, they answered all my questions re the car and what was included. Overall it was a stress free way to buy my next car. I would definitely use Carlingo again for my next purchase.

Adam was brilliant and thorough with the sale and not pressuring what so ever. He answered any questions I had and was extremely helpful. When it came to the handover Travis also did a great job in going through the process with me and made it a very easy process. Could not recommend these guys more if you’re looking for a new car!

Dec 17,2023Lovely building and warm welcome from Steve. Transaction went smoothly.The offer of a test drive would have been nice before money changed hands . Having just bought a £28000 car I thought a charge of £10 for the caravan number plate was a bit mean. So it was no surprise that there was only 40 miles of fuel in the tank. Little things can mean so much .4*. Further to my 4* review, Carlingo have just replied, thanking me for my 5* review.Clearly nobody there reads their reviews.I have therefore amended my review to 3*.
