Mar 13,2024CarVIO is awful. I was intrigued by the good reviews that I read in my search for reputable car buyers. As a matter of fact, they are rated higher than most. Not sure why. My experience with them was pretty good, AT FIRST! I received quite a few follow-ups from them both by text and email. There was even a name attached to it, James Smiley. They asked appropriate questions like the condition of the vehicle, mileage, any mechanical issues, exterior and interior questions. They came up with a value, which was decent. After that, they sent a congratulatory email and emphasized that someone would contact me with 24-48 hours. The earliest that I could expect my vehicle to be picked up would be 2 business days. It was also stated a few times that once the vehicle was assessed, and the amount that they were offering was agreed upon, that a check would be issued from and the institution is Bank of America. The check could be cashed the same day. They made sure to mention to answer calls because that is the way to have a specific scheduled pick up date. I was not comfortable because of all the robocalls, but, I felt that in order for me to get the deal, I had to comply. I answered most of the calls, and not one was from CarVIO. I waited 2 business days and tried contacting them, and got a voice recording. Then the bot, texted me and said they noticed that I called, and what was my issue? I told that bot that I have not heard from anyone. I also emailed James Smiley. The bot said s/he would look in to it. From there no response from no one. This company has moved to file 13 in my book! Please, please, make sure if you do still decide to give this company a try, please do not get your hopes set up until you actually go through the entire process. I would strongly discourage anyone from dealing with this company as you won’t speak to a live person, or at least I didn’t. And, so, if there are issues with cashing the check, chances are, you will be in for a long ride because I know James Smiley won’t be anywhere to be found. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!

Mar 12,2024Seller beware, I had a offer from carvio I accepted the offer sent them the title give them the bank routing number then received a text they would be making the deposit the title cleared they were all set. I didn’t hear anything. I text them and said the buyer backed out. So they didn’t say they would try anyone else they just sent me back my title. Hard to believe they didn’t have any other offers. It’s a 2011 f150 super cab?

Do yourself a favor and avoid these clowns and their representative James S

Jan 28,2024Overall, it is an easy process. It is legitimate! I filled out the online questionnaire and someone immediately responded with a quote over the phone. You have to overnight your title to the company and then they pick up the vehicle. Payment was issued after they received the title. I chose the option to bank transfer so it took a few days to process. My process with getting the vehicle picked up was a bit of a hassle due to the people they contracted to pick up my car having their own issues. Communication was mostly fast (over text) but other times slow. And you’re not always texting the same person even though it’s the same number. However, once the car was finally picked up, I would say overall the experience was good.

Update: nobody has yet to reach out to me and I still have no car or money

Jan 11,2024Agent was rude and passive aggressive and didn't know when to quit. Kept pestering after being told I would handle myself and to have a good day. His name was James. Won't sell to Carvio even if I can't match their offer elsewhere.

I got a great deal for my car. The pickup was timely and I received my check within three days of sending my paperwork. I will tell all my friends about CarVio and Antonio.
