I am still on the fence as to whether or not I will continue with it as my dog does not seem to like it. But let me also say, we are still in the transition stage and she is a very picky eater.

I had some questions about how to store the products and prepare the provided recipes and a vet tech got back to me quickly with all the info required! My pug K-town is doing so much better on his Chi Dog homemade recipe!

Apr 15,2025Cleared up the skin of a very challenging case. Part of the overall Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine toolkit to address severe allergies in a dog. Also used herbal meds. Client and dog both very pleased with the results. The dog honestly loves the food and he used to be very picky.

Apr 12,2025Just started this food for my dog with itch. I haven’t used it long enough to know if it will work. The product is very fresh and my dog had no issue transitioning from raw to this lightly cooked food. Packaging is easy to work with. Shipping has been perfect and it arrives fully frozen. Customer service excellent. The only negative is I’m not sure it’s enough food ( each serving ) for My dog who’s active and lean .. I mentioned this to customer service and they are working with me.

Apr 09,2025This company was recommended by a vet who has studied nutrition for dogs (sadly not something most vets have time to do) and the vet who owns and runs the company did a consult with me to help me figure out the right food to start with. The customer service has also been great and my dog has less allergy symptoms and no GI issues (finally - long road to get here) on this food.

Apr 07,2025I would definitely recommend. My dog loves it. She is excited for meal time. When before she would graze on her food. It's easy to prepare. Even my husband helps and never has when I've tried different diets with my other dogs. The price is high but not extremely out of reach. Will be checking her liver enzymes in 5 months. Hoping to see positive results in her liver functions with the wood diet.

Apr 01,2025I choose this company after weeks of research trying to find the best food for my 14 year old beagle Benjamin, who was recently diagnosed with Cushings disease. For Benjamin, the Fire diet is excellent. It is lower in carbohydrates and has no organ meats. All in all, a much healthier option. Benjamin loves his new food and has had no digestive issues. I love this food because I know that he is getting good nutrition wich is vital when addressing this disease.

Mar 25,2025Our dog was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease (liver values of 997) prior to going on the Fire diet. Being on the Chi Dog food for 1 month, his liver values dropped to 760. He loves the food and hoping his numbers keep coming down. (He’s also taking Adrenal supplements to support his health).

Mar 21,2025Our baby boy suffers from Pancreatitis and the options for cooked food are slim, so we ordered from Chi to give it a try and he’s not thrown it up and loves it. Definitely gave us another option and we are so thankful.

Mar 07,2025My dog couldn't tolerate it. I started with small amounts and tried to work my way up to a full dose but she wouldn't go for it. When I spoke with Chi Dog they advised me to hide their product in Bone Broth or sardines, which is very salty, to try to get here to eat it. She wouldn't have any of it. BTW, there is no recourse to return. My suggestion is to not commit to a full order. Should be a better option to see if dog will like it.
