DO NOT USE CLEAR BUSINESS! They are a scam company that steals money! I am only with them as they took over the last company I was with. I have recently moved from my old premises to a new smaller premises and originally asked clear business to take over the new property's electricity because I was still in a contract with them. I filled out all the change of tenancy paperwork and told them the old premises is now empty and due for demolition by the owner ( Rotherham council ) This was back in August. They have now charged me for the last three months for the old premises taking over £300! I have tried calling them only to get cut off. I have used the live chat to get a promise of a call back that never comes. So over a month ago I sent an email saying I wanted to open a complaint and wanted the complaints procedure sending with a complaint reference number. The reply I got completely ignored this and just said that we would look in to this. I've not heard anything in 4 weeks and I have sent two more emails. This company is not trustworthy and I would think twice about using them. Any company that comes up on my android phone as potential scam when they do call is definitely not a company to use. UPDATE They asked for my details through trustpilot on the 17th of December which I gave them straight away. They tried to call me ONCE and unfortunately I couldn't answer. They left no voicemail and have not tried to contact me any other way! They will now be STEALING another months bill from the property I left in AUGUST! This will now be well over £400 they have STOLEN! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Definitely fraud even crime New owner taking over the premises. Have done change of ownership and switched to another company. This company kept charging me even threatening me. Have emailed and no reply. Someone claimed from complaining and billing department called me and threatened me.this is not even financial dispute it is a crime. Have told them that only accept email replying everything in writing they kept calling me and sending me random invoice which try to scam me. People who are victims of this company should gather together and bring them to court. Watch they Will deliberately send you wrong bills and said they will refund you. But never. They will never send you final bill just because even you left company they can charge you. They will say this bill was issued wrong but you will never get your refund . If you don’t pay wrong bill they put so called interests. Watch. Bring them to public.
Dillon Campbell was amazing, he went above and beyond. BT had some major issues with the line outside. Dillon was on the phone to us 2,3 probably more times a day letting us know what was going on. I'm sure if it wasn't for his persistence we would still be with out Internet. Twice BT send a sub contractor who just signed off the job as done. One time Dillon got a BT Openreach engineer here 1st thing the next day. Unfortunately he couldn't fix it on his own, BT the sent the sub contractor again who just signed it off as fixed. Dillon then got 2 BT Openreach engineers here the same day and the stayed and ran a new cable 1/2 down the road. Dillon could not do enough for us, best after sales experience i have ever had. 10 out of 10
I have for the past few months tried to resolve an issue with an incorrect account. Despite several phone calls and assurances that I would be contacted to no avail . Today I phoned again and spoke to ZOE who persevered and solved my ongoing problem . I cannot say enough to praise her for her dedication in getting everything sorted . The customer service was for the Water . ZOE is an asset to your company . I was at the end of my tether with the lack of commitment from the other operators. Thankfully I found her today . She deserves some recognition for her dedication. Thanks again ZOE.
Absolutely terrible service, live chat never works, they do not reply to emails and when they finally pick up the phone they will hang up on you saying just they can't help. Disgusting
My broadband contract ended in October, I called in September saying I don’t need it anymore therefore it needs to stop due to contract date expired, still have been charged for November and still being charged for December!! I called many times, and online chatted many times being told its ended and finalized still charging me! I am going to cancel my direct debit due to promises that can not be done.

Absolute cowboy outfit. Like many others I was with Unicom for many years. My phone lines and broadband contracts ended in August and were taken over by another company. The have persisted in sending invoices saying that one of the lines hadn't been terminated properly by the new provider and I paid £112 in October and was assured that that it was all sorted. In November I got a further invoice. I complained and after sometime I received an email to confirm that they had credited off the invoice and the account was closed and the line ceased. I have just received an invoice for Dec 2024 for £123.05!!!! I wouldn't ever have an account with this lot again if they were the last provider on earth.
Just registered with Worldpay card machines through Clear business. Ben was my guide for this, his instructions were clear and we had it all set up in a matter of minutes. I would recommend Clear Business to anyone with a small business. Ben has helped me to set up a few contracts now and he is always attentive and efficient till we get the task done. Very slow response I recently moved into a residential property that had a business registered there previously, I started paying my council tax (including water) when I moved in but three months later recieved a bill from Clear Business for water services. I called up and a helpful staff member said that I just needed to share my council tax invoice as proof and it would be sorted. I emailed my council tax bill but continued to recieve overdue payment letters from Clear Business and threatening that it would impact my credit score. I called up a further two times and each time someone said they would sort it, but there was a backlog in the 'digital team' who are the only ones apparently able to open emails with attachments! Still no actual commitment or response to have this dealt with after many months.
Looked in to my account and offered services suitable to my business, very efficient and answered all my questions in detail fully explaining my services
Absolutely disgusting firm to deal with.. nothing but a bunch of liars.. been a customer for 15 years, obviously with Unicom.. went onto a new 3 yr broadband deal. 25 pound a month… just received a letter from a debt recovery agency saying I owe 1100 pound due to them saying I didn’t sign the document sign in April, so they hv been charging me for the account being live. I hv tried to contact the guy who told me he was sorting it out .. well won’t answer my phone calls or emails…bunch of con men.. I will fight this all the way…

Advised my elderly mother in-law to include personal landline phone in her business electricity account. When electricity was not paid (due to bad tenants) the phone was cut off leaving her without any communication at all (she is too old to use a mobile). She is immobile and cannot even get food as she used to order it by phone. Cannot contact her to see if she is OK. Clear Business no help what so ever when I called them and actually cut me off as I am not named on the account!! For all I know she could be dead.
