This company exploit their sellers by not paying commission. As you can see from many other reviews, this company seems to be having a difficult time keeping track of inventory and paying sellers on time. I commissioned 13 items with them and only received payment for two. I have been keeping track of my items on the website and I have 10 items sold. Their T&Cs state that they process payments in the beginning of each month for the items sold the month before, there is also a 14 day return period to include before they pay commission. However, they are not abiding to their own T&Cs and delaying payments whilst also not updating sellers about the status of their commissioned items. It looks like they used to use the excuse of updating their system to a new database/format but now they are not even replying to sellers and the excuse was just to cover their avoidance of payment and a lack of proper inventory management. I recommend other sellers to make use of the UK small claims court system to "Make a court claim for money" if you this business owes you money. You can look this up. Please keep record of all of paperwork, contracts signed, and communication you have with the business. There are court fees involved in this process, but in comparison to what some of people are owed, the court fees are nominal (eg. court fees are £80 if they owe you £1,000.01 to £1,500). We need to work together to make this business accountable to their sellers!

Came into Notting Hill store to find a dress for a wedding, and talked about consigning some items with Nicole, she was extremely helpful and although I didn’t find an outfit on this occasion I appreciated the hospitality and will definitely be back.

CSD could not give me an update regarding the whereabout of my item and received zero update from their accounts department since Jan. I have delivered a dress to CSD Marylebone store in Nov 2023 for them to sale the item on my behalf, received price quote and agreed for them to sale the item on my behalf on 16th Nov 2023. When I reached out to them in Jan 2024 for an update, my contact at CSD advised that he will check with their accounts department, no reply after that. Now it's June and I tried to get reply from CSD account department for an update, no reply again. My question is simple: Where is item. According to their 2.4 - If Property is damaged, stolen or lost while in CSD's physical possession, CSD will pay you a commission based upon the agreed consignment price. If the item is sold then they should contact and reimburse me. Update: They contacted me yesterday (after I left this review) and confirmed that the dress was sold, the payment was made earlier today. I feel if I don’t leave a review they will never reach out. Also note that my contact at CSD asked their accounts team for update since January, I was waiting for an update from CSD account team from Jan as they were not responsive or feel obliged to give customer an update. If fast reply and fast payment can be their standard service then I would be very happy to consign with them again.

Be careful with this company. They are very good at selling items. However, getting your money back will be a struggle.

Action emails but don’t reply to them. Very odd. I applied a discount code (the only reason that I chose a company I’ve never used before when I could have gone with someone else), it was definitely on there for £30 off. After payment, this hadn’t come off. Sent an email, they responded saying they would look into it. Didn’t hear anything. Two more emails to them later they refunded the missing difference but never contacted me. Very strange. They have since called me apologising and asked if I would consider removing my feedback. Unfortunately, it still stands as it’s what happened. Again, very odd.

This is the third time I've ordered from CSD, and every experience has been excellent. The items were as described. And although they used to offer free delivery, which was fantastic, they do charge £8 now. While nothing beats free delivery, I think £8 is reasonable for next-day service. In my third order, the dust bags were missing, so I contacted customer service. They responded promptly, and I received the dust bags within two working days. I understand that mistakes happen—after all, we're only human. What matters to me is how a company addresses those mistakes. Based on my experience with CSD, I can confidently recommend this company as a buyer and will definitely order from them again in the future.

I have used CSD as a seller for 1 year and consigned a dozen items. I got used to the fact that it was down to sellers to keep track of their listed items and chase the accounts team for payment. Not ideal, but this more or less worked...until recently. On May 9th, I saw that my last 3 items had all permanently left the website and contacted CSD for payment (last statement in January 24). This time, it doesn't matter how many people I since emailed or spoke to, I have had no response, just a few apologetic messages with empty promises that a member of the Accounting team will be in touch. Someone at the top clearly needs to fix basic financial reporting to sellers, and also keep in mind basic respect of contractual trading terms. Or it won’t be long before CSD is massively reported to the Trading Standards by sellers and becomes a no go for the very people who represent its bread and butter! In the meantime, and like other frustrated sellers, I would very much appreciate someone finally dealing with my case. Thanks, Sylve

One of my items were sold on 24.04.2024, marked as sold on their website and I havent gotten the payment yet. I ve been sending e mails for a month now and havent gotten a single response, called them several times but nothing. My experience was bad from the beginning -items listed very late, sold items never communicated, statements and payments late or wrong, difficulty to get a hold of anyone to solve your problems- but it only got worse. I see you're looking much closer to Trustpilot than you do check your e mails as there's one reply to every rating but not a single response to my 10 e mails

Couldn’t recommend this company more! I purchased a pair of adidas x wales bonner sambas on bank holiday Monday and they arrived on Wednesday! Super quick delivery and exactly as described. I am very pleased with them! Also they are the cheapest price I could find them on the market at the moment. Very impressed with this company and when I messaged them on instagram I got through to someone called David and he was so accommodating, friendly and just a pleasure to speak to. He sorted out my query super quick and told him me when I should expect delivery which was great. Thanks again! I will definitely be using you again in future!

I only gave e one star as there's no option to give negative or at least no star. I gave 3 items for them to sell about a year ago. Never heard anything so assume they were unsold. Two months ago, I contacted them 3 times to say that I wanted to take my items back. They keep saying that they need to check with accounts team but nothing after that. I just checked on their website and my items are no longer listed. So just wrote to them again and awaiting reply, if any. They might be OK to buy from but I definitely will not consign anything for them to sell!!!

World Class VIP customer service, quick responses, and amazing selection! 😍 I DM’d CSD’s instagram account @csdworld 2 minutes before their Marylebone Lane store was set to close giving them a heads up that I was a few minutes away from the store and needed to buy a specific dress urgently. They responded within 30 seconds and THEY HELD THE STORE OPEN FOR ME past their normal closing time 🤩🤩🤩 When I arrived my dress was ready and I was able to get the dress, their fast customer service and great time in store saved my day 🙌🏽 They have such a huge curated collection of amazing designer pieces at reasonable prices. You can’t even tell they’re pre-loved, and they have tons of items that are brand new! Special shoutout to David for helping me with my request ✨✨✨
