Apr 29,2024What they don't tell you is that you can only apply for one certificate at a time. What this means is you have to make sure you get all you need in one go, otherwise you have to wait 12 months until you have paid the ownership fee. This is terrible if, say, you bought a bike, then realised you needed paniers or a trailer, or any other accessory. I initially applied for a small amount to buy clothing and accessories. But now I need to replace the bike and helmet I already own. I've requested to pay off the current certificate and apply for a new one, but their customer service is so poor I'm still waiting for a response. I don't have any experience with any other Cycle to Work provider, but surely anyone else has got to be better than this?
