Oct 15,2024OK applied for the scheme 02 Sept got the bike today 14nth of Oct so not too long to wait really and chose Decathlon to buy it cost exactly £999.99 purchasing price but with this scheme I only pay £700 over a year with the tax break so bargain in my opinion. Chose an Electric bike as I'm not getting any younger and can really help with the hills. Decathlon staff was excellent only minus is I would have liked another £100 from the scheme in order to buy accessories £88 just for a lock and lights ain't cheap these days.

Oct 07,2024SCAM, Be aware, this company provides bikes as a LEASE. It seems like a smart legitimate SCAM. They use euphemisms of the word LEASE and it is all about paying them whilst having many issues. They do not provide insurance policy which means you pay even more. They have covered themselves and they use fake accounts or bots to have good reviews. Zero customer service on the phone. They rush to hung you up.

The shop I had chosen had unexpectedly closed due to a health and safefty issue with the building and I had to go to a different branch. Managed to sort everything out there and then in the shop and walked away with my bike the same day,

Oct 05,2024I must have gotten very unlucky, as my expertise with them (via my employer) was terrible. It took about 6 weeks to get a certificate, during which time, the seller sold out of the lock I was going to buy. I then needed to amend the value of the certificate. I requested the change and was hold that the certificate was cancelled and I needed to start the whole process again. Was a total pain.
