Jan 03,2025Had Liam out this morning to my grandads Land Rover discovery 3 which had gone into limb mode and saying def blocked. Liam called 1 hour before he arrived, he was on time and the whole def clean was completed in 1 1/2 hours. Very happy with the whole process from placing the original phone call to the truck being done 👍

Dec 31,2024I would not recommend this company to do any work on my car or anyone elses fir that matter. They have come out more than once informed my father the work had been completed when in actual fact it was not and cost my elderly father alot of money. I never write reviews good or bad but felt under these curcumstances it was warrented.

Dec 30,2024I have come back to update this review following the conclusion of my communication with them. My DPF light came on, there website promises they will investigate and guarantee there are no underlying faults prior to cleaning. They do this to guarantee the clean is a success. In reality they do not do this. They plug in a diagnostic, which couldn't even read my honda ECU properly. They do no actual investigation. The technician who came out to me couldn't find anything wrong with it and went a head with the clean, after he advised it would be best for me to just have the dpf removed. The clean was not a success a few weeks later the light is back on and back in limp mode. Conveniently they only offer a 2 week warranty (knowing full well that it takes longer than that to clog a DPF). I contacted them and they didn't want to know. I since had someone who actually knows what they are doing come out and identify a faulty dpf pressure sensor - it was reporting but incorrectly. As you can see dpf fixer responded to my review and asked me to contact them. Which I did again. They then told me they wouldn't help me as I had already left them a review. They have also admitted that they failed to identify the fault, despite that being part of the service I paid for. I have requested a partial refund (the total - the booking fee) but no joy. They also refuse to provide any details of the method of work/process they use to diagnose the fault. The technician I had out afterwards even spotted very basic things like oil dilution count that should have been reset but weren't. This company does not know what they are doing and charge double what actual experts charge

Dec 30,2024I was more than a little bit skepitcal about this service. My car drives 2500 miles a week and how could it have a blocked dpf. I must admit I am blown away by Igor. He turned up on time. Being a mobile service engineer I know that’s hard enough but was polite knowledgeable and a credit to the company. The car now runs fine. First time not in limp mode for two months so I’m pretty happy. I honestly can’t recommend Igor in primary and the company enough all communication has been prompt professional and it’s been a breath of fresh air dealing with all members of the team I can honestly say anything else dpf related to my fleet they’ll be the first call

Dec 28,2024Daz was excellent, he came out over the Christmas holidays to fix the dpf problem with my car. He came the same day I rang up which was amazing service as I needed it resolving asap! He diagnosed the issue and explained everything that he was doing, he was very thorough and knew exactly what he was doing. He managed to resolve the dpf issue, clearing out the system and clearing the alarms. He gave great advice on how to prevent issues going forward. He was very helpful, friendly, understanding and very knowledgeable and made sure that all the issues were resolved for me, excellent service, would definitely use again.

Dec 24,2024Liam arrived early after a phone call advising of time , was polite helpfull,explained all he was going to do , after identifying that a blocked DPF was the problem and certainly it was as the amount of sooty material out of the exhaust confirmed this .Double checked all his readings on the car that all was well and left 2 and a half hours later. Although it was a lot of money ,it would have cost the same for my garage to remove it completely and clean and put back they couldn't confirm that they would get everything out of it , plus they couldn't do it for 2-3 weeks well after Xmas .

Dec 23,2024The engineer himself was fantastic however I question the company itself..when I called in i was initially quoted £500 plus vat which i knew was expensive as I'd researched beforehand. This quote was quickly reduced by £170 when questioned and i was offered a next day appointment. This is where the problems began as I sat in all day waiting with no communication from anyone (I could have gone to work)..I made multiple calls to the office and each time I was given a new ETA..The engineer eventually arrived at 7.30pm so it was pitch black and also raining. I wanted to cancel the appointment but I was told I'd lose the booking fee so they had me over a barrel..it ruined my evening as well as my day. I'd be cautious of handing money over in advance in future,especially with this company. In fairness to the engineer he didn't leave until, the DPF was cleared and a test drive that I carried out proved full power was restored. Im also conscious of a two week warranty as that doesn't offer much piece of mind to anyone however I'm also told that this information is incorrect and it's actually a 4 week warranty (not much better) I wouldn't use the company again based on the above unless it was directly with the engineer himself.

Dec 21,2024After my first review it was not even 24hrs and I’m back in limp mode same issue not looking to good really, the advice I took I booked in for throttle body clean/change and did one long distance journey and it’s back on in limp mode (no change on opinion of the worker who done his job) just think before you spend 400+ on a service that won’t work people

Unfortunately, the situation worsened; the engine light came on, and my car switched into limp mode. I called my usual DPF cleaning company, which charges £120 for a service that typically does the job but doesn’t last long before needing another clean. Fortunately, my regular go-to company was on holiday, which prompted me to look for alternatives. I discovered DPF Fixer Ltd., which, while more expensive, offered a next-day service that I needed urgently. DPF Fixer Ltd. is very friendly, professional, and provides excellent advice. After the cleaning, my car feels brand new! I suppose you really do get what you pay for, and it was well worth the extra cost. Very happy customer

Once Daz was on site he checked over the vehicle identifying the faults informing me of the work he was going to carry out. During his time on site he was polite, courteous and helpful. Dec 17,2024Please be aware of this company, avoid like the plague, stay away. absolute scam . You will loose your money. The warranty is only valid for 14 days. This is my story I called them as I was desperate to fix my gpf, very professional on the phone and they came straight away to fix the problem. Initially everything was fine however after 5 weeks the engine management light came back on. The aftercare is shocking .Firstly There is a 48 hour wait for aftercare, not like the initial very quick response. They didn’t want to know if you are out of the 14 days warranty period. Think about it what kind of company offers only a 14 days warranty on their work? What does it tell you about the service they are providing. Absolute rip off and loss of hard earned 400 pounds .I will take further legal action against this company. I told them on the phone I will leave negative feedback but they didn’t really care as they have already taken my money.

Jan 04,2025I have already done a review but am so pleased with the work daz did on my van after 5 visits and a cost of £3000 daz came and told me in two minutes what was causing my dpf not to regenerate fitted the two sensors myself he did a dpf clean and the van has run perfectly since after a year of off and on problems daz is a genius he really is a huge asset to DPF fixers and I hope they realise that , god like repair of my van I would not hesitate to recommend or to use him again , I was really at the end of my tether with the inability for a Vauxhall dealer to find the problem let alone did it and daz did it in one visit he is a genius in my book .
