May 05,2024Jamie was very helpful and explained the problem with the dpf and how it would be fixed. Very pleasant and easy going. However l was disappointed with the company. I was told to expect someone on Friday afternoon and they never turned up, no explanation or apologies by telephone or email. Then on Saturday afternoon Jamie appeared not knowing that l had not been told of his arrival. It was just lucky that l returned home when he was there after being out for 2 hours. Poor customer service.

May 01,2024Had a DPF issue with my car which local dealers couldn't fit me in for 1 month. Phoned DPF Fixer who arranged a home visit for the following morning. Engineer Jamie gave me a 45 mins advanced notice of arrival after which he proceeded to diagnose and fix the problem while explaining to me the process as he progressed through the repair. Verypleased with the the technical service and the pleasant personality of the engineer and would have no hesitation in recommending both company and engineer.

May 01,2024I rang dpf fixer at 3pm after being told by ford I need a new dpf and sensor costing 2400. I nearly had a heart attack turned out what was needed was a good clean. Andras was with me in a few hours I did need a sensor and he rushed out to get the part before the shop closed. Very professional service and the car runs like new highly recommended 👍

Apr 30,2024My car failed its MOT on exhaust emissions amongst other things. Took a while to find a company that would look at the DPF due to the car's age. I came across DPF on Google, explained my situation and booked an appointment. Did think the deposit was high but was happy as it came off the total price. Jamie, the engineer rang me when he was on his way. Really lovely & polite guy. Had to watch as the poor guy did everything he could in the pouring rain to get exhaust readings & try and get to the filter, for the best part of an hour with no luck. He contacted other engineers but simply due to the age of my car, it would have done more damage had he carried on. Gave me advice on what to do next. Couldn't have been more helpful. Got a partial refund on the deposit, didn't expect a full one as I watched him trying to do everything he could. I saw some bad reviews on here but I'm glad I trusted my own judgement as Jamie & Janine in aftercare couldn't do enough for me. Would definitely use again.

Apr 30,2024I was told that I needed a new DPF, it was so blocked that a regen couldn't be done, for £1300. So I called DPF and explained this, I got great info that this was not required and they could easily fix this with a chemical wash before the re-gen to loosen the soot. Andras arrived and was super polite and friendly and did a great job. Whilst doing the regen drive i noticed that acceleration was still poor, Andres checked the turbo performance using the diagnostic tool and noted an issue with compression. This is now being fixed. So a really great service. Many thank to Andreas for going the extra mile.

Apr 30,2024I called PDF after my 'engine filter full' warning appeared on my dashboard, causing a massive reduction in power to my car. Within a couple of hours of phoning PDF Fixer, Attila was at my front door and got to work on my vehicle. He was polite, professional and had my vehicle working again within a couple of hours. £498 seemed steep considering nothing needed replacing; however, this was cheaper than it would have been in a garage and I didn't need to leave my house... I've since been on a long distance journey in my vehicle and no problems.

May 07,2024I actually missed the call from Jamie so I was surprised he was there in front of my house. At first I was not so happy that he was just doing the same thing the very first cleaning van did but after seeing the regen being done automatically thru his laptop I was relieved that so much white smoke will somehow clean the DPF and clear up the soot. While I also did a test drive at least at 60mph the drive time may not be enough. Fingers crossed the EML wouldn't show up anymore. Jamie was just too professional to spend time talking about the whole process.
