Installation was senseless and the engineer very good and flexible in order to fit in ideal place. All good so far !
Still waiting for someone to contact me to get the isolator switch fitted or at least arranged. Had no contact on a week, rang on Thursday and person on the phone was supposed to chase up but still had no contact. Want to get things progressing so the charger can be installed asap. I hope I won’t be charged fees until it’s installed as I see direct debits have already been set up? Can someone chase this up asap please
Excellent service! From choosing the most suitable EV charger, to easy financing and booking an appointment. Everything sorted, took a bit longer than expected but all in and working fine. So easy now to just charge up overnight.
2nd time using egg and the Indra EV charger as I had it at my last address and both times Customer experience was amazing from start to finish. Indra charger is good and easy to use only downfall is it only comes tethered with a 5m cable, most chargers you can pay a little extra for 7.5m or 10m cable length so I had to opt for the untethered version. I would recommend egg A****

Dont inform the customer on what would happen, the customer who is paying they have no say it what happens and were anything is fitted was told by the fitter it couldn't be fitted were i wanted but when i called to complain they said i could pay for it to be fitted were i wanted it which id already paid for the indra app is crap probably the worst company I've dealt with would not recommend look elsewhere

Dealing with EGG was quick and easy and all questions were replied to in a timely manner. The installation was great and the installer did a tidy job. The new EV charger looks nice on the garage wall I would normally allow for 5 stars but the separate EV consumer unit was installed into the meter box cabinet and NOT directly connected to our Consumer unit. The DNO regulations recommend against this. It turns out that our 2017 consumer unit is not up to spec. If I had been made aware of this beforehand, I would have arranged for a new consumer unit to be installed prior to the install. Sometime down the line the DNO may need to upgrade the meter or similar and there is no space left in the meter cabinet (future possible blame game). Please check with EGG pre installation as to where your cables will run from to avoid possible future issues. Other than this I am really happy with the installation
Installation went very smoothly. However, the Indra app is very slow almost useless.

Organising the isolator switch was lengthy and frustrating. I don’t know why this can’t be part of the installation. Really pleased with the installation though. The engineer did a really neat job.
Poor experience so far. Raised a ticket 91955 and get once a day standard reply. Initially engineer turned up within 48 hours but appeared clueless on why the Indra boxes would not work and stated a revisit would be required. Chased the external team as Egg haven't updated me once - not once- and they have comeback stating another week and half before next slot available. Thus cannot charge my car and yet take my monthly money. I am reviewing the contract, and may cancel everything as their is a breach on their side. You cannot get through to anyone and their online ticketing system is clearly first in first out with a once a day reply. Spoke to Indra support, who appear much better, and they stated they have chased Egg also to escalate issue without reply. Save your money and go somewhere else as the person replying to Trustpilot is probably paid to paste canned responses. Update on 18th of August - after canned response below. No response at all, and now I am planning to see if there is a breach of contract and take my business elsewhere. It is only when you have problems can you judge a company response and Egg/CrackingEnergy need to be avoided IMHO.You have been forewarned.

The installation was very smooth, engineer was great and nearly installed it and very helpful answering questions. Customer services were very responsive to emails, usually same day reply or by next morning, so great experience with them too. One thing I would suggest improving is to make it more clear that majority of installations would require an isolator before and engineer could come and install the unit. This slowed my install date because before hand I didn’t realise and needed to wait for my energy provider to send someone round to install. If during the sign up process or standard sales info page it was made clearer it would help customers realise that to meet current regulations this would be required regardless of which provider you went with. I would have been able to arrange earlier so that I could have got the install sooner. That’s the only reason I’m giving a 4, as there is room for improvement for future customers.
