Jul 07,2021Rather surprised that Phoenix works has sent me an email inviting me to review because my Zappi isn't installed yet, but that's their fault for implementing a poorly designed process ;-) After sending loads of photos of my meter etc, when the installer turned up, they couldn't install because it hadn't been possible to identify that I had two sets of wires into my meter (looped supply) AND inadequate meter tails. Phoenix immediately contacted the DNO, but then put my mobile details on someone else's DNO form, although this actually worked in my favour as a helpful person at the DNO called me in error (trying to reach someone completely different), then investigated what was then a mysterious hiatus in the process and helped out. Unfortunately, it turns out my DNO (Northern Power Grid) has quoted Phoenix £350 to change a fuse. And that's as far as we've got so far......but I can be a very persistent person.....

I was put in touch via the rightcharge.co.uk website when looking for an EV charger, and the whole process from start to finish was slick and effortless with great communication. We even had our supply unlooped from our neighbours by the electric company before the EV charger was installed. Would definately use them again. Happy customer!

However I went with the phoenix works because of their great reviews, and it was well worth it. Great communication, professional installation, and great trouble shooting. Will use again if a second EV charger is needed.

They were Excellent from start to finish, great customer service from sales to the project coordinator and the Electrician. Electrician arrived at 0830 and did an excellent job, great install and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend them for your EV install

Mar 31,2021The Phoenix team talked me through the options. The price was as quoted, lead times fine (about two weeks), the engineer fitted the charging point in a couple of hours and it all works fine.

They gave an immediate quote, all enquiries were dealt with promptly and the installer who arrived to fit our EV Zappi home charger was efficient, polite and his work was of a very high standard. We have used the charger several times and it has worked perfectly.

Jul 13,2021From ordering my charger it took 7 months to get it fitted. I was told time and again it was down to a looped feed but the follow up on this was truly dire. Only when I threw the teddy out of the cot and demanded my roadside charging be paid for did anything happen and at that point it was installed in weeks. Should have kicked off earlier but in reality dont like taking that course of action. My experience was not a good one
