Honest saying, the workmanship is really nice, and the hotline services from Egg are good.
I really wanted to feel grateful and positive the whole way through, but I have to be honest and say that we've been rather disappointed. All went very well untill after the installation of the indra car charger. It worked brilliantly for a few days. Then when I had to start using a new phone, I couldn't transfer the Indra app onto it. Instead I found I had connected with a new version, that obviously wasn't aware of Pedro's introduction of charger to car. Pedro was the installer and he had had to do something clever to make charger and car speak nicely to one another. Then started the problem of who to contact. Egg? Indra? Or McNalleys the installers? It was very difficult to get either of the first two on the telephone. Gareth from Egg kindly helped me connect with Indra. Then two helpful people from Indra tried to repair the problem remotely without success. Finally McNalleys rang to say they were coming ( more than a week into the future). Meanwhile we're scared to try using the charger in case it damages/confuses the car's computer, since the charger is very confused itself. It won't do solar charging . Once it did it when I'd set it to boost!! I just think there are too many directons to look in for help and that it would be good if Egg acted as traffic officer for the public, especially as we are paying the extra per month from them for an efficient and speedy response system for any problems!
Simple setup from start to finish. I submitted photos and documents required pre install and they were processed quickly, with an install date provided for 2 weeks later. Engineer turned up on time and the install was complete as required within a couple of hours and I was up and running. Note for anyone using OVO charge anytime make sure Indra,Egg are aware as you have to use the web app, as the new app is not yet compatible until they update it, apparently an update is due soon. Other than that everything is working fine using the charger scheduler.
Awful experience, someone who isn't an electrician arrives to survey your home for installation, told everything is fine and installation day is booked. Engineer arrives to do install only to find out more work is needed so I've wasted a day's holiday for nothing. Installation is rebooked after being told i need to pay an extra £239 for extra work, am told an installation date which then differs from the date on the online account by one day, again I contact EGG to try to find out which date is correct, as usual there is no response however the next thing I know the engineeer has arrived at my house and I have to leave work to go home for the install. I finally receive the invoice for the work done on 7th June but the invoice is dated 29th March and apparantly due for payment by 28th April, the invoice says card payments can be paid over the phone so I call the number several times and lo and behold each call is met with an answerphone message. i have left a message for them to call me for payment and sent an email requesting the same but don't hold up much hope of a call back as their customer service is non existant. Edit…forgot to mention that I had a statement emailed to me a while back which had the invoice mentioned on it, a day later I was emailed again telling me to ignore the statement and delete it…so I did.

Very good service. A bit of backwards and forwards sending over pics of intended charger location, wiring etc around electric and gas meters. But makes sense so installer doesn’t turn up and has to leave if things aren’t right. Very tidy installation. Good responsive customer service team
From beginning to completed installation was good. However final connection and setting up with the app and platform could and should have been better organised. The app/platform connection with vehicle and utility company was not organised correctly, other than that, a good service, thank you.
Great communication from start to finish, install guy was very polite and kept me updated throughout the installation.
Charger installed on 5th May 23, unable to test till vehicle arrived on 26th May only to find it doesn't work. Trying to get the issue resolved, as unable to fast charge, awaiting a date for an engineer to visit and replace. currently paying for a product that doesn't work.

Very good engineer fitted the unit. The admin process is both time consuming and bureaucratic.
All done in the agreed date. Works well and app allows me to charge at a time where I have a cheaper rate. Installer was accommodating to request for the location of the install. Customer service on the day was spot on.

The team at Egg have been fantastic and extremely professional- they didn't have the easiest of tasks retro fitting a battery to my existing solar pv system and installing the Zappi charger, but Ross and Darren were excellent and helped make the process run efficiently - highly recommended!
