Signed up through website, paid through finance plan, sent of photos waited days for a response. Emailed them got a response stating I have no earth bonding. This is a 18 month old new build with electrical test certificate it also has plastic water pipe not copper. More pictures sent independently had a electrician verify details and confirmed house fully compliant. No customer service at all no confirmed date not a great way to start a relationship I’m not saying they are all bad just very slow and not helpful. I need my install date and stated if it needs a earth bonding not an issue as it has one a more helpful style is needed Egg customer service have now called and I have revieved a update and apology if things now progress I will amend review accordingly. The charger was installed but apparently it was off line. One simple phone call would have solved the problem, but I could not get through to anyone. Very poor communication for a company cracking energy problems.

I would like to say a big thank you for installing my EV charger. I was a bit worried due to the reviews, but went ahead because the application process was very easy and fast. I contacted Egg via the email option and I received a fast response. Ilona handled all my queries in a fast and efficient manner. I was contacted by the installation company which was called Ascent Energy Services. Again, customer service was excellent and despite the snow, the engineer installed the EV charger perfectly! Everything went really smoothly and I can't fault the customer service at all. Device is all up and running and I am able to charge my car at any time. I haven't used the app just yet but don't see the need as I can plug it and use without it. Thank you!!!

This review stinks, a bit like this companies product and service. I have had this indra charger for a number of months and like others have mentioned it is not the most reliable. What is even more unreliable is the way in which you have to wait days for a response to any contact you may have with them. The actual install itself was very smooth and the engineer was very professional, but I have lost count of the amount of times I have had to reset this charger due to different coloured flashing lights and also lost count how many times it hasn't charged my car overnight. I have now lost my patience with this charger and lack of communication and am fully aware I will be charged £49 for them to get rid of what has now become an inconvenience. Don't get sucked in to the monthly payments it's a ploy and almost feels as if I've been scammed. Genuinely complete garbage and utterly rubbish company that I can't wait to get rid of. *update* As a point of interest it seems it is quicker to get a response from egg when you write a truthful review about them on here. Chris, the only response I have had today from you today is via Facebook messenger and that was to tell me to call a number I had been trying from 9am till around 12pm today. *update 20/03/2023.

Communication really poor so far. Can’t get anyone to confirm my install date despite chasing every day. Was told over a week ago I’d have a call in 3 days to give me a date but still waiting. Feeling like I’ve been scammed at this point EDIT: I do not appreciate this response - the team have not been in contact with me throughout, that's why I have made contact multiple times. Only since I've written this review has anyone replied to try to deal with this, and I've been told that my installation date is over 2 weeks past my initial planned installation date.

Joke of a company avoid avoid. Booked the install three weeks in advance as I timed it right my the ev car. They messed up and delayed the install by a week. On the Install date the subcontractor installed the ev charger but it doesn’t work and now it’s weekend and I am stuck. Can’t get hold of the subcontractor nor the cracking energy.

Excellent support and assistance after reporting a potential problem. The communication was excellent and the engineer was onsite in 2 days to update the CT clamp and swap to a WiFi connection.

I signed up on the 15th February to get a charger installed and completed all the pre-installation checks and had a preliminary installation date of the 1st March. Didn't hear anything back after this point, and after the installation date passes, I decided to send a chase email asking for the status of the order. They then respond with some requirements they need before they can arrange an installation date (isolation switch). Work that will take a week to arrange with my energy supplier, further pushing the installation date back. I email highlighting with a request to cancel. I didn't get any apologies other than "sorry to see you go" -Update Had a phone call the day after explaining what had happened and an apology was offered which was appreciated by myself. Slightly sweetened the sour taste that was left and I've upped the rating from 1 to 2 stars. I do feel had things been different for them at the time, my experience would've been better.

This is a tricky review to leave because Egg have been pretty good but my issue is with the charger itself (made by Indra). When it works it's a great charger but I've now had it for 2 mo this and not a single week goes by without it having an issue. It's either flashing purple, flashing white, not charging as programmed, not boosting. It works most days but it shouldn't be having problems on a weekly basis. It's also extra confusing knowing who to contact when things go wrong - Egg or Indra!??

Fantastic communication all round, the installer arrived on time and couldn't of been more helpful. The installation itself was seamless and tidy. I am recommending Egg to my family and friends. Well done Egg ...a cracking job well done. Bill.
