Feb 28,2023This was a no hassle fantastic customer journey. From placing the order to the install on the day the experience was effortless. Until the very friendly and helpful engineers turned up on site, all my interactions with Egg were virtual. This is something that might sound alien and even scary to some people however ordering the product online using the online portal couldn't have been simpler. From taking pictures of the distribution board, Finding my MPAN reference and providing pictures and locations where I wanted the charger installed, the instructions were simple and very easy to follow. Any queries that the company had were emailed and explained in simple terms and all interactions felt friendly and non pressure. The way this business has set up it's front end ordering process is fantastic. Quick and easy to understand with great results! I have already recommended the company to friends (of which a number has signed up and been installed). The company left that good of an impression I am already looking at getting solar panels installed by them as well. Really deserve the 5 stars!

Feb 28,2023From enquiring online to having installation, Egg were great to deal with. I chose my charger, picked an installation and it was installed within 2 weeks. Engineer did a fantastic job. Loving being able to charge my car at home.

Feb 28,2023We are yet to use the charge point as had a delay on our electric car we have got so unsure if it even works yet. Dealing with Egg has been fairly good with adapting to my needs and requests well, with good prompt reply’s to emails. The installation team which seemed to be a separate company called Insight was very good and respectful of my home. When my car comes (next month) is we will update our thoughts on the actual charger.

Feb 17,2023We have had this installed and it keeps tripping. Despite constant calling (11 times), and getting the automated system where you can request a call back. No call has come and I have sent 3 emails to 4 different people at Egg and not one of them has answered. I also called the number in London, which was the Anderson people, guess what? it says the number is not in use. I don't really know what to do next if no-one will actually get back to me!!!!

Feb 17,2023After initial assessment, providing photos and videos I was told I could get a standard install. On the day of install (3rd February) the plan changed, but this isn't the worst part at all. With an additional unexpected fee and a busy work from home day I was in no position to make a decision on the spot. I discussed with an Egg representative last thing on the Friday to hold the account and think about it over the weekend. HERE IS THE WORST PART. I sent an email on the Sunday, another follow up the end of the week and another through their website early this week. I also left a message and my number on their callback service. Whether they could resolve any issues I had is besides the point, the fact I've been ignored and NOT BEEN CONTACTED ONCE SINCE, to discuss or draw a line under the matter one way or another, is another issue entirely, and frankly awful service. Still awaiting contact from Egg...

Feb 16,2023DO NOT USE THEM They messed me around constantly cancelling my survey appointments and making excuses Then finally survey was done on the Wednesday and I was due to have it fitted on the Friday and the survey person said it was fine it will be fitted that day. I got an email saying that I don't have a water bond on my water and I have to pay £239 just for that when I spoke to other companies and they said I don't need that and that's really expensive when the company I went with was only charging £70 to fit it, so they are scamming customers out of pocket saying they need stuff when they don't and really over charge for it. So if you have sence DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY LIE TO YOU

Feb 13,2023We recently approached Egg for the supply and installation of a home solar system with Tesla Powerwall. Obviously we got other quotes, all of which were cheaper than Egg but as Egg seemed to be the only people who would supply us with the panels, inverter and battery that we wanted (as opposed to pushing us down the what they had in stock route) we went with them. The whole process was - cost apart - painless, with Egg doing exactly what they said they would, when they would, and how they would. They even monitored the system remotely for a week after installation to ensure it was performing as it should. There are so many horror stories on line about cowboy installers, selecting the right installer is a gamble BUT I can 100% recommend Egg as the right people to get in for your solar installation
