Today's visit from Mike to installation the charger was perfect, Mike work hard, very tidy and neat. Bless him he answered all my silly questions without judgment! Systems look nice and easy. There appeared to be a problem with the platform whilst booking my appointment, so I sent an e-mail (8 o’clock-ish on a Sunday) and got a reply within minutes. The fella was also on holiday (I got his out-of-office auto-reply) which was pretty ridiculous of him. The chap that did the survey was really friendly and thorough, and I was surprised how long he spent on it (assuming they’re on piece work). The installer was on time, did a lovely job, and was clearly a proper technician, not someone who’d just been rushed through an EV install only qualification. The charger works well and the car/meter/charger all seem to get along well. Excellent job, Egg.

Jan 21,2023Got solar panels installed 2 months ago. They said they'd send the MCS certificate over (MCS says they should issue the certificate within 10 days), but since then they have completely ghosted - no replies to emails and they don't pick up the phone. I'm starting to think I'll never get one. Ignore the reply below - they did get in touch... to tell me they would take the scaffolding down. And then ghosted again. The scaffolding was taken down months ago?

Jan 20,2023This is without doubt the worst thing I purchased in 2022. The start was really promising and the installation team were great (that is why they get 2 stars, if it wasn't for the install team it would have been 1 star, if I was reviewing the install only it would have been 5 !) This piece off kit is just unreliable. it has failed a number of times leaving my car uncharged and needing a reboot but this time it hasn't worked for nearly a week ! I have tried the normal reboot but this hasn't worked. I contacted support (which is a task in itself, your boot needs better AI) and they advised it needs an onsite visit to fix, that was 3 days ago. I have just been contacted from them to apologise for no one coming out yet - Still no car charger ! I should have seen a red flag when the install guy told me the Indra system runs from a desktop app with no mobile app - Who in 2023 develops an app without a mobile app !! UPDATE 20/1/23 - Egg can't get out to me until 26th Jan ! That means no charger for 9 days since I reported it. Imagine if I had a fully electric car !! UPDATE 31/1/23 - Arrgghhhh - Still not working ! This is driving me nuts !! UPDATE 1/2/23 - At last ! Egg sent out one of their own engineers and he was brilliant. He replaced the whole thing and started again - Its been up and running now for the last 2 weeks with no issues

Jan 20,2023Absolutely painless experience, ten minutes to apply on their simple and cohesive website, 10 days later I had my charger up and running with zero hassle, installed by a friendly and professional installer, the charger looks great on the wall and works flawlessly! Would highly recommend egg to anyone considering a home or workplace charger!

Jan 18,2023Absolutely first class service from start with a friendly professional visit from Ross to installation from a hard working tidy team , with the mind set of overcoming any problems that arose during routing of cables ect. Hand over of paperwork very easy with all required to enable excess exported back to supplier. System is easily monitored via the Solar Edge app , all in all a very good system using quality product from a honest and trustworthy company, which i would not hesitate recommending to anyone considering installing a solar system .

Jan 18,2023Egg were recommended to us by two friends who'd had experience of using them. We had our solar installation dome by them in June last year. Everything ran smoothly during the installation and follow up support has been excellent. The installation itself is very neat and tidy.

Jan 14,2023All went smoothly with the installation of my ev charger. Just had a lovely call from one of the team to check in and see how it’s all going. I've been using the website to manage everything which was easy enough, but have been informed about a new app coming soon, which will make things even easier. So far I’m really happy with my experience!

Jan 12,2023WOW, where do i start, i pay £30 per month for an Indra car charger, when its working, its great, but spends alot of time just offline and usless, so i took the descision to have this removed, 1st attempt, took a day off work, and nobody turned up, contacted egg and suprise suprise, there has been a bareavment and they were not aware untill the day of my charger to be removed, 2nd attempt, another suprise, there has been a bareavment, nobody showed up, another day wasted taken off work to accomodate the uninstallation to be let down, so now 3rd attempt today 12/01/2023 and suprise suprise, there has been a bareavement, so say tried calling me, but no voicemail, no email, no message on my phone and another day from work wasted!!! i am beyond words, i have this charger fitted on my house and i cant get them to remove it!!! EGG, what do i do please as i wont stop and if you take another payment, and yes, they are still charging me!! please help, i need this resolved ASAP!!

Jan 07,2023Really good experience from egg. We had a power wall fitted recently. Very smooth process from the survey, ordering and through to the installation. Engineers were very friendly and left everything clean after they finished. I would definitely recommend Egg.

Jan 06,2023After initial problems of not being able to get an installation date in a timely manner I eventually got one and the panels installed and system operational. The biggest problem was not with Egg directly but the scaffolders in terms of getting them back to take the scaffolding down. It went up with an unannounced visit on a Sunday, Egg fitters duly arrived on Monday and completed the total installation by the Monday evening. They were great. Then numerous phone calls and emails later the scaffolding was removed after three weeks. Ross our contact at Egg was great throughout trying to help. A slight delay in getting connected to our Wi-Fi but system worked from day one.

Jan 27,2023I've now been without my EV charger for over 2 weeks. Only by chance I fully charged my car and haven't had to charge since. If I did have to I would've had to pay as my charger doesn't charge now started off slow charging now even the boost button doesn't work. Fed up of emailing and not receiving a reply. Still waiting over 2 days now for a reply to what must be my 20th email. I've asked for someone to call me over a week ago, why can't you people just call instead of making excuses via email and sending me graphs. I've sent pictures as proof and yet still you don't arrange for a engineer to come and look into it. I'm going to end up cancelling my direct debit. You've cost me over £140 in diesel in 1 week.
