Good levels of communication and support. Installation done very neatly and promptly. Can't complain and the price of the charger is well in line with current costs so a great scheme to be on
What an amazing company to deal with, absolutely superb customer service and fast responses to every single communication. I would seriously recommend Egg to install a home fast charger as the process from start to finish has been seamless. Top marks Egg, lots of other companies could learn a thing or two from how you look after a new customer who is new to the EV world.
Dreadful experience with this company. Firstly they were an hour late to the appointment as the surveyor was given the wrong time. Then we had to chase them a few times to follow up on the survey, which they charge for. 2 months on and we still haven’t been given the survey which we paid for, stating only that they won’t fit panels to our property as it would be too costly and wouldn’t provide a return on our investment. They didn’t even survey the whole of our property properly, just looked at part of the roof. Complete waste of time and money, really disappointed.
Great simple, hassle free sign up process. Perfect communication throughout and installation went really smoothly. I had a minor issue that needed a reboot and was surprised at how quickly their chatbot helped me to fix it. It led me through all the steps to get this done and even had a picture of the mains switch to show me where to find the power switch as I wasn't sure where this was. I've had a really wonderful experience so far with Egg and my charger is working nicely - couldn't fault this service at all!

Indra EV charger. Simple online process. Communication good. Fitted on day/time specified. Professional, polite and very neat fitting - in very cold ice/snow conditions! All working well and very impressed.
Went with egg as they provided a ev charger compatible with my solar panels, and said it would be fitted in 10 days (great) I submitted pictures of my electric fuse box which passed the credentials needed and they gave an installation date of 20/10/22, on the 19th the day before, they rearranged it to the 6/11/22 and three days before this date they contacted me by phone saying I needed an isolation switch before they could install. So we had to contact our electric supplier to get this done which was also delay and rearranged due to staffing levels, the ev charger was eventually installed on 8/12/22 some 7 weeks later. I’m not very happy why they didn’t tell us about the isolation switch at the beginning could of saved a lot of time, but in my opinion they we’re playing for time they knew they couldn’t fit it in 10 days as promised. Tried to contact them numerous times and nobody returned the call. Everything is great know it’s been installed 👍
Excellent service so far. Pedro the installer was very efficient and professional. I much prefer the pay monthly model and the fact you can continue the maintenance contract after the initial 3 year period has ended, as my first charger died after about 3.5 years!
Shocking experience with Egg. Extremely unhelpful customer service. My EV charger was installed by Egg in totally the wrong position, around 12 metres from my driveway where I asked for installation. They have installed it on the other side of my house over a large flower bed that I obviously cannot drive into! Despite complaining, Egg state that it is my fault the charging lead does not reach my car, as I knew the length of the 5m cable when I signed up! 5m would be perfectly adequate if it were installed correctly by Egg in the first place. Egg are now demanding £180 to relocate the charger that they installed incorrectly in the first place. ***In response to Eggs reply from Chris below, once again they are blaming the customer for their own shortfall in service. There is no contradiction in the information that has been sent from me to Egg, and I have replied to their emails; however, I have only received useless responses from Egg (just like the blame shifting response from Chris here on Trustpilot.) The issue is as stated above. The charger was installed in the incorrect place and this was stated to the installer and has been stated to Egg in subsequent emails*** ***Edited again to add that Chris has swiftly changed their response to me on Trustpilot. Please don’t be fooled by this, Egg are not working with me as they have stated at all, they are trying to shift the blame onto the customer and to get more money from me to correct their own error. Where a company states that it would be inappropriate to share details of issues publicly, I believe this says it all. I’m more than happy for the details of the issue to be made public, as I have nothing to hide.***

The service prior to my installation was fine. The installation was done well and the installers were very professional, tidy, friendly and informative. The solar edge and Tesla battery appear to be working well. The follow up could have been a lot better. My installation coincided with some redundancies and a reorganisation. Therefore, I had to contact the scaffolding company myself, in order to get the scaffold removed. I also have waited 2 months to receive my handover pack with certificates and warranties etc. The customer service is not what I expected. I would think it appropriate to be able to speak to somebody by telephone, rather than messages. Finally a phone call from the CEO has resolved everything to my satisfaction.
From start to finish the process was very easy, Although our property is on a looped connection. Egg sorted all of the required paperwork and the installation progressed. Have not been able to confirm the usage of the charger yet as my new car isn’t being delivered until mid December. Have checked the system using the Indra app and all seems well. All in all a “Cracking great experience”
Can't fault the installation - turned up 3 minutes before the appointment and told me what to expect so I didn't end up losing work time when he had to switch off the mains (and WiFi!) for final connection
No issues at all getting our electric charger installed. Done quickly, quietly and very professionally.
Great sales experience, advice and after sales. I wasn’t sure which charger to go for and Egg help me all the way. They advised how to get my circuit board upgraded, ready for install. After installation they have been able to support with all my questions.

Initial install was delayed due to issues with Egg’s planning. Following this charger worked well for a period of time. I left a poor review and someone claiming to be the CEO called me to apologize for the delays stating that they had been experiencing staffing issues. 5 months later the charger stopped working - Egg were slow to send someone to repair it (two weeks) meaning that I was left without a charger. The first repair didn’t work and a second engineer came to work on the unit. The engineer reported that the unit had melted wires internally and had been poorly installed, they repaired the unit. The unit was back up and running - just a couple of days of using the charger and it broke again, this time not connecting to the internet. Again another long (two week) wait for an engineer, they are set to come later this week. A real concern when the charger is needed daily for my 100 mile round commute. This left me needing to granny charge, use rapid chargers at services and at times (when it has been working but without online connection) use the boost function. When you have bought a charger with a fixed rate from your energy supplier in mind (I am on OVO Anytime), being without a working charger can leave you at a significant financial loss - I am certainly out of pocket due to the poor service of Egg. Egg did provide a £30 Amazon voucher on the second repair yet this does not come close to the loss of not being able to charge at 10p per KWh.
Installed today, fast and efficient and all online. Quick response on emails. Happy so far.
Very quick installation. The unit works perfectly. Had a follow up phone call after the installation to check I was happy. All good!

Dec 30,2022Miraculously EGG do now have a phone number despite saying they don’t have one since early December. It is a Leeds number and I’m posting it here for others who might end up in the abysmal rabbit hole of poor service where I have had to communicate with Indra by phone, installer by phone, Egg only by email going round and round in time wasting circles. So if it helps someone- the number is: 0113 815 5366 They do not appear to want to make it easy for customers to speak to them. Hopefully, they’ll explain when they reply to this one star review. So frustrated and disappointed by their poor service.
