Easy and simple online ordering, great customer service - love my new charger.
Easy sign up process and all is good with the install. They accommodated my car coming quicker than we knew at the time of order by about 1 month so they installed it sooner, before the car arrived. Only problem and its small so feel bad saying it is that the installer had to come back to swap some wires around before we could use it the charger and we didn't know they had been to do it. Other than that the app works fine and is easy to use. Definitely recommend.
Just simply Brilliant, nice straight forward process, it was completed earlier than expected. Nice tradesman who completed the work.
I’ve really enjoyed the online sign up, it was so quick. I did have some initial questions which took too long to answer so I had to flag as a complaint. I managed to get a response quickly through that though so all resolved in time for my install. Install was smooth and painless and everything is going as expected which is great. I’ve had a check in from one of the team recently which leaves me feeling like they care and want to hear customer feedback. Hopefully they improve their customer contact process so I don’t need to flag something as a complaint to get through, the person that called told me this is on their radar to fix… fingers crossed!
Super simple sign up journey and I love the low monthly costs, it’s a great solution! I’ve had my charger in for over a month now and all is great, absolutely loving my new charger :)
Absolutely terrible customer service. Hard hours installed less than 24 hours before it went off line and hasn't worked since. You cannot speak to anybody on the phone correspondence takes days to reply I've a Box on the side of my wall that may as well be there to house birds. I'm paying for a service they have yet to provide me no haste once I've made contact to say there is an issue I still don't know when they're coming out
Quick smooth process to installation. There was a minor issue with the wireless connectivity but aknowledged on the day and plan in place to correct. Team very quick to respond to emails and overall very happy.
Had a question about EV chargers and which type I need for my car & found the support chat really helpful as it was guiding me to what I was looking for.
Got charger installed on Monday 21st Nov and I'm now on Friday 25th Nov and charger still not working. There is no customer service telephone number, only email and chatbots with 8hrs response. Shocking service.
I applied for the EV car charger plan for a new build home, set up payment and completed pre-install checks howevever credit application was "declined" despite having a 967 excellent credit score on experian which they use to check - When contacting their agent (Extremely tempting to leave their name) she bascially said we can only go by what our credit score company says.... after I had already explained I literally have an excellent credit score and explaining to her it is due to it being a new build and they had not requested past adresses so of course no history of me appears there as im in the process of moving..... Another colleague was more helpful suggesting a workaround to sign up with an old adress then call to change install adress manually. I am now at a point where I am truely going to have to look elsewhere unless I am contacted ASAP to just pay UPFRONT instead of doing their useless credit check to get this installation finished. I have received 1 useless reply in 2 weeks of sending email requests... the only way is to contact by phone to the first person which reaches out with a extension number... leaving a voicemail or the page are simply and utterly useless..... but that reply from eggs "customer service" agent has to be the worst bit of help i've ever recieved to a query where I am literally telling them of their issue. Edit: As of now everything seems to be progressing very well and I am awaiting installation - Pam has been very helpful in getting the situation resolved Thanks,
Very easy to order, plenty of information and communication. Very happy with the installation. Only quibble is that the install date was changed
Ordered this online, communication from Egg was really good ensuring everything was organised and understood. It was all fitted and working perfectly and installer kept me up to date throughout.
Signing up to the deal and agreeing an install date all went smoothly and the installer seemed to know what he was doing so I was originally impressed. The problems started the first night, however, when the Indra Smart Pro charger did not activate at the time set for cheaper rate. I emailed Egg CS, there does not appear to be a phone method, and they said they had tweaked the unit and it should work now. Promisingly the charger came on at the correct time, however, the output is stuck at 1.3kw which is about half the speed of a granny charger :-( Egg have said an engineer would be phoning me but not over the weekend it seems! So far so not very good. I really hope I can increase the star rating with time but if things don’t improve quickly then the rating will fall. Update! Egg sent an installer up from Glasgow and he noticed a problem with the CT clamp and resolved the issue. Charger now working again and, hopefully, I will have no further problems.
EV charger installed within a few days of signing up. Excellent and timely customer service from Egg.
Straight forward transparent company with good customer support and products.
Extremely poor customer service. Paid deposit for solar and battery storage and heard nothing from them since for the past 2 months. Have tried numerous times to contact the project manager - or indeed anyone at Egg, and no-one is getting back to me. I have paid £5000 in total and now very worried. I used them just over 12 months ago for aa car charger install and that went well but no longer trust them. Please avoid this company. Edit 17/11/12 Egg have now contacted me, I think prompted by this review. I now also have details to raise a complaint which I will do. I hope things can get back on track and will update the review accordingly. Edit 04/01/23 Egg listened to my complaint but sadly I am no further on and there appears to be no movement from Egg and still have no idea what they are doing for my install. They are now 3 months overdue and still no information. Please do not choose this company for any solar or battery install.
Did all the pre checks online, signed agreements. Had a install date booked in. No one showed up on the date given and I haven’t heard anything since. I have filled out a contact us form on the website twice and heard nothing back. I read this happened to others but because there was also positive reviews I decided to proceed. I feel that this organisation was quick to set up my direct debit and agreement but from there it’s just fallen apart. Would welcome a phone call urgently to discuss next steps.
Shocking customer service. Signed up to have an EV charge point fitted and have been fobbed off for nearly 2 months with the same excuse regarding upgrading of the incoming supply. Asked on a number of occasions to have my complaint escalated but to no avail and receive the same stock response each time. Got to the point where I would rather cancel and use a different company. Not good enough for a company that has just won best new product award. Sure, as long as nothing needs to be checked prior to an install!
Great service from survey to install and aftercare. Joe did our initial survey and looked after us throughout, he was very professional and knowledgeable and at no point did we feel forced into something we didn’t need or want, he tailored a design and quote to meet our needs and at the time of installation he drove through the night to deliver a missing component so that the roofers could “crack on”. The Installation team Darren and Ryan were so friendly, neat and did an all round great job… we will be sure to let our friends know!

Dec 09,2022I made an enquiry about a home charger for my new EV, the process was easy to follow with easy guides. I never encountered an issue with upload photos and videos to the site. The install was delayed by 1 week, but communication from the company was second to none, they informed me of a sickness to my engineer and they did their utmost to find me the next available slot. Since having the home charger, my app, charger and information via email has been great. Would well recommend this company
