Installer messed up installation of charger. Repeated emails to customer service chasing issue up with no answer after intial replies. Still no rectiifcation of bodged ev charger installation!! Do not use this service

Signed up and it was pretty painless to be honest. Installer didn’t take too long but I was shocked when I asked about unauthorised usage to be told he didn’t know and to just turn off the breaker in the meter box. The charger point itself is a bit flaky. A few outages since install and tonight I’ve had to reboot the unit again to find its saying I’ve used electricity whilst nothing was plugged in? (I have video footage to back this up). I now find the cost of the plan has reduced by about £300!!! This is based on two months usage. Cracking.

Very quick response time from initial enquiry to quote to installation in a few days, in time before arrival of my new EV. So far had no issues at all with the hardware, the iphone app works well and it charges the car without any issue. It looks great too. I went for pay monthly option which overall was similar price but delays payments. A couple of questions were not clearly answered at time of installation, but installer was friendly and polite, and did a great job on the installation and some advice.

I have purposely left my review about 5 weeks to gain a better experience of the company and have found the whole experience a pleasure. The installer was first class in his professionalism and knowledge of his trade and his fitting was perfect the company themselves were quick and efficient and very forthcoming with information and their communication.

Have problem with indra charger- not working. Near impossible to speak to someone to get sorted. Left message but no reply. Up till now been happy with service. Update - 1 Nov. Problem still not sorted that's 4 days now.

AVOID!!! I NEVER USUALLY LEAVE REVIEWS!! I read the reviews before I tried to order a charger, and was concerned about the negative ones, but thought this can apply to any company. I decided to sign up and initially had a good response from egg on my issues with the account set up. However, surprisingly you have to enter your direct debit details before you even sort out installation!! I did as I was asked and set up 2 direct debits. I had 2 emails to confirm they were set up, but my account only showed 1, and it wouldn’t let me go any further to arrange the installation! Clearly I wasn’t going to set up a 3rd! I emailed, called ( left a message as can’t speak to anyone) emailed again and again! No response at all, but the direct debits had been set up in my bank account! I have now cancelled them! No company should be taking direct debit details when you haven’t even finished setting the account up and ordering, and then not even respond to queries after the set up! Disgusting customer service! Don’t use!

So far so good pleased with the service - install went according to plan and we have used the charger 3 times since with no problem. The Indra app is clear and provides a very accurate account of the energy used.

I had an install scheduled for today, engineer was a no show and no contact was made. Chased Cracking Energy through their automated system (V frustrating you can’t contact them by phone). Thankfully managed to cancel in a straightforward way. There’s a consistent them running through these reviews so watch out

Turned up on day of installation, did a pile of tests and sorted a small wiring problem that Smart Meter installer had made. Connected my Indra wall charger, very tidy job. Got the app, set up my charging schedules and it all worked perfectly last night. Very pleased.

Ordering was quite straightforward and communication was initially quite ok. Installation date slipped a couple of times due to stock issues, despite being assured that they kept a healthy stock. Installation team were excellent. Then came the need for after sales support. Shocking The lack of returned communication is shocking and as has been mentioned several times before, there is no phone number. I would suggest you would be on hold all day anyway, if there was someone to call. I have emailed (different people in case my POC was no longer employed by them), I have spoken to their Bot, who is unable to help me and I have sent messages over Messenger. Still no response. Every day of waiting is costing me money so I am upset at their lack of communication. Is a poor review the only way to get a comms channel open? We will see.....

I had to rearrange my fitting appointment for an EV charger, which was sorted with mount any issues. Install day came and the installers were made bang on time. Really friendly and efficient. They have done an awesome job as my meter box is at the other side of the house to where the charger was installed. Really happy with the charger (Indra). The reason I went with egg is because I needed to spread the payments of the charger and installation cost, and egg seemed to be the only company doing this. The fact that I have three years of warranty to is great for piece of mind. Thanks Egg!

Had my EV Charger fitted back in June or July in anticipation of a hybrid car coming. Engineers arrived bang on time and put the charger exactly where I wanted it. Tidy installation and a full explanation. They recently came back just to check everything and, as I wasn't in at the time, they called to confirm everything was fine. Egg have been a superb company from start to finish. The engineers that I have met have been superb, communication is great and the contract is flexible too.

No phone number, unable to contact, now just had another cancellation, so my 4th date given, and unable to be their on that day, and no one to talk to over it.

Technician - Louise arrived on time and was clear in explaining the install process. Completed the install within the communicated timeline and with minimal disruption and left the install area neat and tidy. Great customer experience.

Avoid!!! The customer support is almost nonexistent. I have had an install date on Friday and they called me at 9:30 to say the technician is sick. Ok I understood, it happens. Had to do a lot of follow up for the next available appointment. Sorted that one out and now the technician phoned me up at 9 and said that he is stuck in traffic and does not know the time he will be here. After another 3 hours passed he called to let me know he is not coming and was visibly upset because i said if the install does not happen today i will cancel all together. So in the end i ended up loosing 2 days of work (£400) and got nothing sorted. An absolute nightmare!!!!

After a no show and poor communication I feel it only fair to now write a review now installation has been completed. The day of the no show I dealt with James from the customer support team who was very apologetic to the issues and re booked a new date (today). Today the engineer's turned up absolutely on time and were both very friendly and knowledgeable on the process. They installed the EV charger and left the area clean and tidy. I now look forward to charging my EV from home on the Egg system. Not everything can go right the first time but a sign of a good company is one that resolves the issues and doesnt make the same mistake again. Well done Egg. You restored my faith in your company.

All good. Customer service very quick and efficient responding to queries. Installation went exactly as planned. I have a charger that charges and all is good.

I had my electric charger installed today by Darren. He was very professional and respectful of my house. Installation took longer than expected as there was a problem with first charger installed however engineer had another one to install. Upon completion I was told that charger is working but there is a technical problem with the app and I can’t connect to it. I am waiting for further update on that. Overall great service and very professional company. Star lost because I am not able to connect to the app. For those considering using Egg don’t focus too much on negative reviews, I hope this helps.

I read a few bad reviews and thought we would be ok. They give you options of availability that arent actually available. No communication from them up to the day before install, NO HUMANS to speak to just a shocking chat bot on website. The pay monthly may seem attractive but for the hassle and incompetence of this company, it just isnt worth it. Go elsewhere. The reply is also a LIE, I cancelled
