Jun 10,2022Totally brilliant install of Trina solar panels and Tesla Powerwall. I tested the patience of the staff at newly-named EGG (Phoenix Renewables when I started the enquiries), with an onslaught of questions and queries to make sure that the install was worthwhile. Solar panels and a battery are a large outlay, so I wanted to be sure before saying yes. The sales team and designer worked together to establish what they considered the best system for my property. I was given projections for the solar energy likely to be generated for each month of the year and these look spot on as far as I can make out after just over 2 weeks of solar production. I have a large 20 panel system, but reckon on recouping the cost in twelve years at current energy prices, and less time if prices go higher and remain there. The scaffolders were diligent in constructing the scaffolding but slow to remove it - it's just gone today more than two weeks after the installation was complete. But that is my only gripe. Two roofers and two electricians worked seamlessly together over two days to complete the installation and explained the system well to me, ensuring I was connected to the apps that allow me to monitor in real time from wherever I am in the world. The 13 1/2 kw powerwall battery holds enough energy in summer to power me easily through the evening and following morning before recharging the next day. On overcast days I find I use some enregy from the grid but I expect a minimal electricity bill for the summer months and await the results of winter months with interest and realistic expectations that December and January will see me paying for most of the electricity - the projections show these figures. It's always a risk buying something like this for the long term. Will my lengthy guarantees be worth anything in ten years time? Will the system continue to function with no less than 70% of current capacity for 25 years? I can't say for sure. But I can say that EGG have given me as much confidence as I can have at this stage - and for that I am grateful. Particular thanks to Pam in sales, Matt in design and Callum in project management. Jun 08,2022Installer arrived on time. Few set up questions to begin with, then left to install. Kept updating when ge felt necessary and tidied everything before he left. Cannot fault the service or recommend them highly enough.

May 18,2022So far so good. Charger fitted yesterday (17/4) and all working as expected. The two fitters Ross and Jack are a credit to the company, fantastic approach to customer care and workmanship was excellent. They are both a credit to the company and a real assist.

Apr 27,2022Booked to have charger fitted as a standard installation after sending in images and being approved. Apprentice turned up on time after a 2hour drive he informed me the main electrician was on his way with the equipment 45 min later he informs me he is ill and so cant fix charger as he is not qualified and has no charger to fix! I had taken the day off so was loosing money to have this fitted! Egg charge you if you reschedule or cancel 72 prior. I was then told it was not a standard installation (now charging £200) POOR, Cant install for another week- POOR. Won't offer any compensation for Very Very Very Late Cancellation. How can they have it all their way!!! Extremely Poor!!!

Apr 19,2022Wow, from the start what a easy str8 forward process this is from the start, Laura messaged str8 away in regards to installation and and photos answered all questions needed, then installation day came the amazing Louise came to install the charger, there needs to be more tradesman like her!! Respectful of property, clean neat perfect job! Faultless! Thank you so much! Would recommend Egg to anyone! So worth it

I dealt with Laura through email who was great and very responsive and when Josh and his colleague arrived this morning bang on time they were both excellent. I would highly recommend these guys - thanks EGG from a very satisfied customer.

Apr 13,2022Outstanding installation by a brilliant team. On the installation date, both Fahmeeda and Matt turned up and took a look at our rather uniquely boarded out utility room, which once was a garage. A cable route was determined and the installation was completed. Partway through. I dropped in to take a look at progress and was initially quite disappointed to believe that the cable installation had apparently not even started. My mistake though! The cable HAD been installed and routed completely out of sight. Not what I was expecting at all from our initial discussions of routing. They had thought outside of the box and pinned it up tightly and perfectly behind a blind that we use to cover our washing machine and tumble drier. Way better than I could have imagined it was going to be. You simply cannot see the cable at all unless you feel for it. Both Fahmeeda and Matt were extremely friendly and got on with the job working together really well. The charger is up and running and I am totally and utterly delighted with it. And without going into detail, this is a company that really does care very much about their employee's welfare. Egg, you have my utmost admiration. Thank you all for a job perfectly done. And thank you for being such a caring employer.

Apr 12,2022Originally I gave a poor review HOWEVER. I wish to give an excellent HIGH review. Once the initial problems were sorted. I can truly say that the installation engineers turned up bright and early and very pleasant both working very hard and quickly with quality. The Egg charger fitted and looking good. I have enjoyed using it. I can highly recommend EGG just nicely done for Easter. MY EASTER EGG. Very pleased to get a call from Ops manager as a follow up proving this company cares. Apr 06,2022Their website does not give enough information without you subscribing and providing your bank details for the direct debit. I used their contact us form to enquire as I had additional questions. They responded with a copy and paste job of the generic marketing blurb about being the world's 1st ev subscription service, but didn't attempt to answer my request for more info. I responded to this less than useful email reiterating my need for more information, which was ignored, and never responded to. I wouldn't trust a company that want you to sign up without giving clear information and a useful support service

Mar 28,2022Poor and unreliable service! My charging cord is locked with one of its charging station after its app is not responding. Not just one time, but 3 times in a week. I could get NO help from its supporting team!! It's service hotline is absolutely helpless too. Absolutely nightmare!
