Excellent communication
Useful session especially when covering the differences between section 21 and section 8. I would have liked to have had some coverage on the process when someone refuses to move especially when local authorities give free legal counsel to find ways of stopping the eviction. I’ve heard of cases where it cost a landlord 10,000 which is a significant amount.
Having managed several large national estate agencies for 35 yrs I’ve dealt with many property companies but these guys are fantastic. They offer brilliant webinars keeping us landlords up to date with legislation, tax laws, compliance issues. Also offering competitive insurance & buy to let mortgage quotes, on the whole a lovely, non pushy company to deal with, keep up the good work !

I contacted Mashroom with a series of questions relating to getting my property listed online. I quickly received a reply (within 2 hours). From this moment onwards Mashrooms service was head and shoulders above their competition. I sent the same question to their main competitor, and they hadn't even replied to my first question by the time Mashroom had everything resolved. Jorden Hansen was especially attentive throughout. As a first time Landlord I felt completely overwhelmed by the whole process of renting my house and then stumbled across Mashroom. I’m not sure how I would have managed without them! The process from advertising the house to the tenant moving in on Saturday has been super smooth! I can’t fault them for their speedy responses to messages and emails and their expert help and advice. The only things I can fault them on is the inability to find a phone number to call them on (although they DO respond to messages quickly) and the fact that you have to login on their website each time you need to access them, although I understand they are currently working on an app. Having said that, the website is clear and easy to use and I love the ‘timeline’ that shows each step of the process clearly. Thank you Mashroom for a great service! All members of staff I have dealt with (and there have been several!) have been professional, really helpful and have always come back to me when they said they would. Thank you for making being a landlord less scary!
This is without doubt the worst webinar you have ever made. You interviewed a person who could afford all the work needed to achieve a "C" EPC. This person had multiple rental income from London properties. We in Wales, and the North have extremely low rental income. We ourselves are pensioners and do not sleep at night worrying how we can afford to upgrade to "C", especially with all the other expenditure we have had to make with recent repairs, and complying with the new laws involved with the Renting Homes Wales 2016 Act which is imminent on Dec 1st 2022. A cross section of Landlords with variable rental income, ages, rental, affordability/obligations, would have been much more helpful to all landlords, in my opinion.

Very smooth service and easy to understand
I enjoyed listening to the webinar on Friday 26 August, however, something was mentioned that seems to be incorrect. In the webinar it was mentioned that each individual can offset £1,000 per property against all rental income instead of actual rental expenses if the allowance is greater. My accountant has stated that is incorrect and the following statement is true: Each individual can offset £1,000 as a total against all rental income instead of actual rental expenses if the allowance is greater.
First time I have watched a webinar or engaged with an online property company- very informative, easy to understand and interesting to watch! Wasn’t able to watch live but easily found the recording and watched at a time convenient to me. Thanks
